Look at that... 1:53 It so cool. The design of Nemoidian race. It resembled the B-1 battledroid. So it has a philosophical value!! An army of mechs reflecting the living organism that created them!

it's because they wanted there to be more emotion when Anakin left his mother, a 9 year old leaving everything behind is more heart rending than a 16 year old. But it would have made far more sense for many reasons for Anakin to have been much older

Robd collector I wasn’t even a sperm yet when this movie came out (I’d come into the world 2 years later). Ironically this was my favorite Star Wars film for a while (When I was little, I’d constantly pop this into my DVD player on long road trips, and for a while it was the only movie I’d ever watch) I used to love Jar Jar Binks so much, and though I pretty understood none of the senate hearings at the time I still was intrigued by all the pretty colors (kind of the equivalent of a man dangling a bunch of keys in front of a baby) It’s sad because it got to a point where I memorized the entire film (I still can recite to this day- and this is the reason why I don’t have friends). And in fact still to this day I actually don’t consider it a bad film (maybe it’s because I’m nostalgia blind) it’s an extreme guilty pleasure, I can look past Jake Lyold’s awful acting, or Jar Jars poop jokes. And I can actually enjoy it. (Yeah the internet police can arrest me now)
The reason why Anakin looks much older in the concept art than he did in the actual movie is because he was originally written as a twelve-year-old, but George Lucas reduced his age to nine because he felt that the lower age would better fit the plot point of Anakin being affected by his mother's separation from him. Eventually, Anakin's younger age led Lucas to rewrite his participation in the movie's major scenes. However, I think he should have been kept as a twelve-year-old. It would have made Anakin and Padme's relationship make a lot more sense since if Lucas had stuck to his original plan of having a 12 year old Anakin. A boy who's just going through puberty meets a slightly older, beautiful girl, unlike anyone he'd seen before... It's natural he has on crush on her that continues through his teenage years in the restrictive environment of the Jedi Order.
You may not respond to me but, do you like everything about Star Wars unlike the toxic fans and trolls? Like the EU, the new Canon, Rebels, TCW, the PT, OT, ST movies and all that? I do.
Fantastic. Even though some people still hate the Prequels, in my adult life (32) I had a mind meld with them and love them just as much as the OT. Sure, it's tones different and some of the acting is wooden. But the OT had some pretty rough acting as well. Just subbed. Plowing through your work. This artwork is beautiful.

If anyone is wondering why the battle droids look so skinny and with flat ''skulls'' its because they were made by geonosians and were ment to resemble a geonosian body with Neimoidian skull (as you can see they look like geonosians in the body,but the head actually looks like a neimoidian skull from the original concept art for the neimoidians) @ 5:01

I can remember just about every ship in the PT. I can barely remember any ship in the ST.
