Impressive. He didn't want to settle for titles he can inherit. He wanted to earn a title - the hard way. His story embodies the Olympic spirit.
It must have been paid, like a stimulation
@@shivamsharma-gg3iv womp womp Indian you can't pay the bullets to curve and hit the target.
His ear protection at 3:02 was the real gold
His highness has lot of money 🤣🤣🤣

He played against Rajyavardhan Rathore he won gold and Rathore won Silver. Never forget this show down. Rathore broke the jinx for India winning a medal.
What was the jinx ?
@@Mr.Sofishticated :First individual event medal for India..we had won only as Hockey team and that too were the only one's in 8 different Olympics.
@@mr.koolkarni4357 nope
We won bronze in wrestling by kd jadhav 1952 then Leander peas 1996 bronze singles tennis . Then karnam malleswari weightlifting bronze in 2000 . Hey may won first silver individual . But technically it won't count as Norman Pritchard has 2 silver in olympics history for india which Indian don't agree but Olympic record still count for india .
@@Mr.Sofishticated stfu dude...
India gov need to step up because a population of 1 billion and most are starving with no sports infrastructure, no medals in any major sport apart from cricket very embarrassing
Such a great story. He didn't settle for being just a symbol.
And his student is a Brit none the less. What a team player, great story.
I was very pleased to be able to meet Sheik Saeed in person. An intelligent, polite and very kind man. To Sheik Saeed, my gratitude and thanks.
the ruling family of Dubai is just different from all ruling monarchies of the gulf honestly.

Constantin won the gold in the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome in Dragon class of sailing. Extremely remarkable achievement.

I love him. God, seeing him focus on those targets he even looks like a falcon.
What a great champion and humble human
You made a mistake in 00:53, this is not Crown Prince of Norway, but he is Constantine, former King of Greece. Then Crown Prince, he won gold medal in sailing, in Rome 1960.
ΧΡΗΣΤΟΣ ΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΟΥ, well TBH nobody came here for him, All are interested in AlMakdoum.
@@thewitcher08111 well tbh he's right.
Absolutely humbling!! What a great story!!
Not for him, India would have won its first individual gold in Olympics.
The draught has ended
Is this John Boyega talking??
Not wanting to settle with inherited titles. Good for him.
The finest athlete from UAE
My dad probably knows him, he won the gold in the 2000 games for double trap, and competed from 1996-2012

All good for him, congratulations on the hard work, but by 6:13 I feel like this video has ALL it needs for John Oliver to take on.
Wow! This is awesome!
I only clicked it for Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
Nothing like a Beretta! (unless it's a Benelli!)
He did it for free? You are lucky , Peter Wilson
Una gran historia de superacion. Despues de interminables jornadas diarias de trabajo para poder llevar comida a los suyos, sacaba tiempo para poder entrenar y perseguir su sueño (Modo ironico en ON).
its like star wars 😂
Almaktoum - alright i ll do it myself
On 31 december is his birthday
umm king Constantine of greece ? 1964 gold medalist? or would that have taken the shine off your silly story .....
Just a mistanke i think. But the story of our norwegian royalty sailing is still true Just wrong fotage.
I came For Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore
India sports minister is there😍
the King of Greece also won medal
to give another example king james of cleveland has 4 championships and 2 olympic golds..
What is the name of song in background music from 05:34 ?
The guy had enough money to hire best coaches, to get the best ammo and to find the time to practice.
He is a lucky one.
True that.. but it's not enough to get you a gold medal
But it does give them an advantage.
@@user-th4ch4ky3g in competitive sports, you take any advantage you are given. He was probably not the only one with provisions being made for his training. My point is, that his wealth does not take away from his accomplishment
I am not saying that his accomplishment is only because of him being rich. I was just saying that he had access to more resources.
@@user-th4ch4ky3g well no one can argue with that
What amused me the most is that he took up the sport only at the age of 34

Rajyavardhan singh rathore
Muy lindo todo amo el tiro . Pero lo q no me gusto fue q un tirador estendio su mano para saludarlo y no le dio saludo a su entrenador supongo no lo se .un salufo a todos
No extractors allowed at the Olympic s?
the part about poverty is that you cant compete lol don't have the means to travel because of money. im pretty sure if that poorest people in the world could compete it would look a lot different.
Everyone has money but not everyone becomes great
You might change your mind if you look at the stories of the few but incredible olympic champions from India. For an example, Mirabai Chanu, who won silver in women's 49kg weightlifting, does not even have a table in her home. Lovlina borgohain, who won bronze in boxing had to borrow a jersey when she played nationals because she didn't have the money to afford one.
Only few sports require you to be rich. And of course institutional support matters most.

3:57 aweww he got mad , dat wud or cud make him small for such high rank -position- he possess, he shud ply cool blood as other olympians!!!
And India's Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore came second in double trap. He was a black horse too.

This event no longer exist at the Olympics
Good
You are wrong about property....People are kicked out by association

"Everyone starts from a level playing field whether you come from poverty or privilege"- Shut up!
0:07 your first statement.
I disagree.
Some of sport must use money, for rich country, rich people.
is this a paid ad ?!
because I know those emaraties .
Emiratis know you racists too
lol...I dont think winning an Olympic gold medal is a paid ad
And he never worked a day in his life.
Jealous😅
💪💪💪💪💪💪💪❤❤❤❤👍

no problem for people who are very rich. That is all what they will do in their life-their hobby; and they can afford so much to buy or even reload their shotgun ammo.
He could have sit down with all the money he has, but instead he worked hard for this medal. You don't get gold medal with no hard working. Some athletes been trained by their parents since young age to accomplish this achievement others had sponsors for years. You can't deny their achievements because of advantages. Take whatever advantage you got so you can't make excuses when you lose because the only thing that matters is your results.
Lol, all athletes start on a level playing field? Tell that to Eric the eel with no pool in his country. All these royals winning in sports where obscene wealth is a literal entry requirement. Give me a break, there is no inspiration here.
