What a coincidence, India's neeraj chopda won olympics gold in his first Olympics, it is Indias first medal in athletics and 2nd individual gold ever.
I am so proud of him and I know he will be successful again in all other competitions no matter where. 👍

I’ve always wondered has a spotter been hit by a javelin.
It was common in older Olympic games when the javelins would skid on the ground and not stab the ground. Later on, there would be changes made to the javelin itself so that it would ALWAYS stab into the ground.

This victory wasn't a fluke. Walcott went on to win the silver medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games, bronze in the Rio Olympics in 2016, and gold and and silver, respectively in the 2015 and 2019 PanAM Games.

I was in 2nd grade when I found out about this game playing my first every video game. I couldn't even believe this was a sport
