Considering a sound becomes 10 times louder for every 10 decibel increase, 2 billion cats all meowing at once would be nowhere near the billions. Maybe like ~150. Real damn loud, still.
Yeah, Bel is a unit that's logarithmic, which is why every 10 tenths, it increases tenfold. It's also a relative unit. 100 dB is meaningless unless you define what your baseline is. Usually 0dB is the quietest sound it's still possible to perceive, so let's just keep that. So given the kind of ridiculous assumption that all 2 miliard cats are in the same point and then meow at the same time, then they'd produce a shockwave with a strength of probably around 60 B or 600dB. This is about the power output of our sun over a few hours. It would completely vaporize the immediate surroundings and kill everything on the planet, either with the shockwave, the earthquakes from the shockwave travelling through the ground or the laughably high amount of heat produced by all this. The surface of the earth would probably be boiling hot, if not red hot or even molten.
Now given the fact that I spent about 10 minutes doing these calculations, I'm probably very wrong somewhere, which would explain the ridiculously high number, though the starting assumptions that it would even be possible for all cats to meow at once and that they're all overlayed on top of eachother are ridiculous enough for dumb numbers.

First, we convert from dB to intensity. Assuming 65dB per cat, that would be an intensity of 3.162e-6 W/m^2.
Taking this intensity per cat, we can then multiply the intensity for each cat. 3.162e-6 * 2,000,000,000 = 6324 W/m^2.
Finally, we can convert back to dB, which would be ~158dB.
This sound level is equivalent to a rock concert.
@@naranara1690 the dude in the video was way off. My calculations are in an optimal system [no interfering waves] and they still only equate to a rock concert, not loud enough to likely shatter a universe.

I stared at the thumbnail for five minutes before I got the joke, then I burst out laughing, now I'm here telling you about the only interesting thing that has happened to me all day
So my school never actually banned nuts and we had multiple people have allergic reactions and many close cases from people who didn't have these allergies not think about what was in their food.
This. We had students with life threatening allergies who had to eat in an empty classroom and more than once found peanut butter smeared on the doorknob.
It's not the allergic people. It's the people who think allergies are a joke.
Suggestion: For every subreddit, the hand gesture must be different in the intro.
