I was definitely hoping for a 2 door although 4 door would be okay I guess. removable top along with a body on frame set up with 4x4 rear wheel drive setup. It fails in everything but being a modern Mom’s suv. It’s closer to the S-10 blazer.

They won't get the clue because people aren't buying it for its offroading reputation. They are buying it because vanilla cookie cutter CUV's are just today's socially-acceptable minivans.

Absolutely. They should have taken the Canyon/Colorado ZR2 running gear and built a real Blazer out of it. The original was a rough-and-tumble offroad machine (my family had a 1971 4WD with CST), often with winches bolted to the front, not a warmed-over Malibu for taking the kids shopping.

Isac Nuri actually Jeep luxury vehicles outsell Jeep Wranglers significantly but that’s ok as long as they continue to make great off road vehicles also. It’s too bad GM doesn’t make a “real blazer” or a true off road SUV. The current blazer sits too low, is not modifiable and as so many GM products these days boring. I do like the new corvette and I don’t mind the GMC trucks. Even then the GMC truck interiors are far inferior to Jeep, Ram and Ford equivalent vehicle are better

  • @76carmel

I know a lot of people will poopoo this Blazer. However, Chevy needs the Blazer to be GM’s competitor in the midsized crossover segment. With the success of the Ford Edge, Nissan Murano, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Hyundai Santa Fe, Chevy has to be in the segment to be competitive. In fact, Honda has revived the Passport as well. And don’t forget, GM will shelve the Chevy Impala after the 2020 model year.
