There's something I love about the world in this little series. Thanks to the obvious GMod-ish influence, it's like all the characters shown here are in some kind of carefree version of Valhalla where death is inconsequential and anything can happen. Or as some would call it: 'Cartoon Logic'.
So what you're sayin is that it's like a cartoon. A tf2 cartoon. A cartoon... for tf2... that millions of people would watch... Nah! it will never happen.
I like this episode. I love the character development with the three and how they're, in a way, not portrayed as their stereotypical characteristics. Scout - Loud and obnoxious but can actually step up and give a crap 'bout somethin' like when Sniper gets his leg injured by the shark and scout offers to do the camper challenge in Sniper's place. Demoman - When not drunk is actually freakin' smart and rational of the three. Plus, I don't think I've seen any other Gmod or SFM vids where he shares his drink with others... Sniper - Still traditional outdoorsman, cares 'bout winnin' but knows when he has to back down. Again, the camper challenge where he had no choice but to agree that Scout had to take his place. I like how the three seem to grow closer and although this was supposed to be focused on Sniper, the other two shined as well. Another nice touch was that it wasn't a traditional Red vs. Blue rivalry idea but Red vs. 'Nother Franchise rivalry. Keep it up~

WHAT IS THIS? A HAPPY ENDING? On a tf2 animation? With no "comedic" last-second turnaround? no prices getting confiscated? They actually get to celebrate? None of the enemies they make come to bite them at the end? They actually achieved what they planned? The whole buildup payed off? *Why are you so brilliant? Why do you make me so happy?* In all seriousness, the endings where the main character believes they achieve what they wanted and then it's taken away to make people laugh, nowadays, is more cliche'd than the generic happy ending... like... no Saxxy has a happy ending, how have I not thought of it. Thank you for this.
Well, the polaroid on 45:33 did reveal that electronium isn't something you should keep in range of children but yeah, a happy ending without an explosion in a gmod video is something new :D
27:16 Engineer: yeah? Demo: MEDIC! engie: nope (puts away phone) A FEW MOMENTS LATER medic: Eh hello? demo: *MEEEEEEEDIIIIIIICCCCCC!* medic: *I DONT DO HOUSE CALLS!!!*

As an Australian myself, I just love that you used some kind of epic orchestral rendition of the iconic Australian bush ballad, "Waltzing Matilda", in the end credits.
as a good frenchman, i like breaking these tents and igloos from your ass. with a knife. and if you're using ass protective razorbacks, then screw it i got guns.
"PEOPLE WHO YOU'D NEVER GUESS THAT THEY ARE FURRIES!" Shows a pic of Louis on the cover. Later Louis is shown in a fursuit about to take the Red Team's health kit that they left behind at the (G)as station. That's some good ass continuity right there boss.
27:10 Red Engineer has several nails in his head already & a wig with a nail in it. 31:42 Red Engineer gets Medic's help to hammer in more nails and he has hair now. Clearly this episode those loons came up with a half-brained idea to fix his baldness.
“..And they blew up a shark, the shark respawed and attack them at night, injured the aussie, the scot blew up the shark ( again ), then Boston got to a tent a did some arm work out ( one arm work out ), and then the Aussie, scot and Boston blew up biggerfoot!”
I simply love how the world itself in this series is basically GMod put literal, any and all kinds of mods found in it is a reality in this world...AND I LOVE IT
For all the great things I could say about this, I feel like I should point out a small, yet especially heartwarming touch I only first noticed on a recent rewatch and that I bet a lot of people missed: There's a selfie of Scout in the credits scene. There's also a shot of Sniper grumpily driving the camper, as well as shots of the Furtroit gas station and The Large Banana. These are all pics that could've only come from Team RED TF2's perspective, and more specifically from Scout's phone - even if some of them were taken by people other than the RED's themselves. In other words, Scout wasn't just screwing around on his phone using Instagram and shitposting on 4chan the whole time. He was also taking a *lot* of pictures of pretty much everything at the Bushman's Challenge. Even though he spent half the time bored and not really wanting to be there, he still saw a lot of things and made a bunch of new friends he knew he'd want to remember. It's a really sweet little bit of characterization for him.
This has to be the greatest TF2 animated series along with burning through space. Honestly im amazed how such good quality is put into this. Thank you.
11:39: A Robot spy head can be seen on the bottom shelf of the Heisenberg beer bottles. Possibly spying on both teams scouts as well as Sniper and Demo. This probably points to the robots shown prepping for a attack at the end of the video.
And he considered the following: The Red Sniper is a threat, the blue engineer as harmless, and has observed the reds gas grill fight and the cable theft. What are you scheming Grey mann? Also, WTH is up with the pair of lights? Telling red medic to build the grill that kicked their buts, telling the blue soldier to steal the red teams cable and all that shenanigans, not expecting the red engineer and say this will still work, and say nothing to the red Sniper. Something is fishy about that, and uts always tied to the Badwater match where blue cheated.
I just love how this guy manages to add so many popular and obscure video game and sfm characters/references to these Team Neighboorhood videos - it's as if the world he created is the video game equivalent of Toy Story and Wreck it Ralph.
Yo guys, I just want to say you don't need to apologize for anything, if the first 3 episodes were anything to go by these videos take immense time to work on, and I have mad respect to both of you for wanting to make sure it's just right before it goes out. Quality over Quantity.

Everything else aside, Is nobody gonna mention the fact that the Sniper’s a total badass in the intro? He’s survived all that crazy shit and nobody’s commenting on the fact that he might be one of the the longest survivors of whatever the heck’s going on!
@@sgas he wasn’t, we’ve seen the blue soldier do the exact same thing he did in that “dream” in his episode, and also the other classes have the exact same “dream” from their perspective
There's just something about 26:32 that I can't stop laughing at. Maybe it's the music. Maybe it's the way demo blows up the shark. Maybe the whole concept of having a shark on land and killing it by blowing it up with a loch-n-loch-n-loch-n-load is just that funny. Who knows
I forgot that red scout was anti-furry and blu scout is one, so they mistake red scout as blu scout at the gas station, I’ve watched this 8 times and I’m just noticing some of the details. Also at 38:12. There’s a book called “How to build an entertainment center with sticks and pinecones.”
Honestly dig this more teamwork focus, light hearted adventure in comparison to other SFMs that go into the gritty, existentialism areas . . . or are just mean spirited
Rewatching this 3 years later, I love how strong the bond between the Red team mercs is. As much as they squabble and annoy each other with their weirdness, you can tell that deep down they're all fire-forged friends. (Blu team is the same but to a lesser degree, the cheating pieces of [REDACTED])
Let me summarize my feelings about this as quickly and accurately as possible: There are too many things about this that I absolutely love to express in a complete list. That’s how much I love this video. This is...this is like Team Fabulous 2, but the characters are *realized creations* . It’s like all the chaos of gmod was somehow stretched, molded, and folded into an intricate yet ridiculous storyline. Everything that’s weird doesn’t just happen. If something is out of the ordinary, it doesn’t just go away, it becomes part of this universe. Scout getting land shark’d in the bathroom? It shows that land sharks are a thing and are aggressively sexual in the summer, and the same shark comes back later. Scout gets attacked by a bunch of furries? They’re right next to a city populated by furries. They don’t have the medkit? It was established in a much earlier scene that they had to leave it behind. Everything, *EVERYTHING* about this is something that I love. The scope, the plot, the characterizations, the comedy, the dialogue, the action, the ending, the interactions, the character development, the ending, the animation, _the damn animation_ . All of it is so amazing. This is, without a doubt, my favorite gmod video ever. You somehow surpassed Team Fabulous 2. This video is the greatest gmod ever created. It’s like a goddamn movie. Thank you. Thank you so much.
I hope all of you enjoy the years worth of work put into this vid and we hope to not make episode 5 a literal hour but who knows, just have fun watching what we have now
I love all of the little details like how the sniper rifle dings when it reaches full charge like it does in the game, and how they use the small HealthKit
Honestly the greatest tf2 animation I've ever seen. Funny, goofy and clever. Honest you've really pushed the limit of gmod animations and have set a whole new standard when it comes to amazing gmod animations. You should be very proud of yourself and the amount of passion and time that went into this really shows. Great job!
I really think that the "runaway" script worked wonders this time. The feeling of never knowing how another scene would top the previous is so fantastic. This your best work so far. Although I think that "Cable Calamity" is my favorite, I think it lost a lot of character because it was multiple characters all at once. This one however, by just focusing the interactions between the Scout, the Sniper and Demoman is much better. Them playing off each other. The humor is on par and the jokes, while a bit predictable at times, work Supreme to give it a sense of a continuous joke. Great work. Sorry for my over analysis.

Why do you make me so happy?*
In all seriousness, the endings where the main character believes they achieve what they wanted and then it's taken away to make people laugh, nowadays, is more cliche'd than the generic happy ending... like... no Saxxy has a happy ending, how have I not thought of it.

Best heavy impression I’ve ever heard.
I know it’s only a couple of words put that tone and accent is so realistic and spot on
For all the great things I could say about this, I feel like I should point out a small, yet especially heartwarming touch I only first noticed on a recent rewatch and that I bet a lot of people missed:
There's a selfie of Scout in the credits scene.

Imagined that from the sniper taunt.
My favorite part was that signature Sniper Growl™ getting louder and louder as the exchange went on.
here we have a camper in his natrual habatat only gets out of the the in search for ammo
Let me summarize my feelings about this as quickly and accurately as possible:
There are too many things about this that I absolutely love to express in a complete list.

23:43 this kind of movement is unique.
