Hot tip for the baked garlic and olive oil cloves. Cut them directly in half and place on tin foil. Soo tasty! One of my favorites at my Italian friends house as a kid.
I made this about 5 years ago since our TGIFridays closed down. I used to take home atleast 5 to go cups, just because I loved using it on everything. I always wondered, to cut time, just use store bought garlic paste? 🤔
I've seen so many different variances is that of this sauce and I think yours is the closest that I'm gonna try, but I think I will add more Jack Daniels to mine ... Because the more you cook it the more you loose the taste of the Jack Daniels.... Just my opinion... Thanks for sharing
The sauce has a great taste...Love it. One question, do you refrigerate? I did and it gets very hard and requires a warm up to use again. Did I cook it too long? I would prefer that it stills pours from refrigerator.

1/4 -1/2 tsp of cayenne gives it that slight spice.. inlnad about that much to mine and pretty much follow his recipe and it is DELICIOUS

Made it twice. Very good but NOT tgi Friday style. Still was very tasty and now cook it all the time but very different from TGI.
