This recipe rocks, what could be better with JD than grilling and chillin. We have missed you these past couple of weeks, but this is worth the wait. Perfection as always!
I just found your channel and I love it. I worked at TGI Fridays when JD glaze was first introduced and I made it from scratch everyday. Later they outsourced it and we got it delivered but to me, the mass produced stuff was missing something. I look forward to trying this.
Yes, that is typical for Chain restaurants. As they grow in unit size, they start having the Main Commissary make the recipes for the stores. It is a way of managing costs and consistency, although it is never as good as the in-store products.
Their use to be a chain in Manhattan called "Ranch One" they left New York and I've been wanting one of their grilled chicken sandwiches with their honey mustard sauce... If you could please recreate this sandwich
Can you do the sauce from Montana Mikes that they serve with their chips? (I love dipping onion rings in it.) It is a chipotle dip. I came pretty close but want to see if you can do it closer. I use miracle whip, a Kraft chipotle dressing, Milk, and a little sugar.
I have never been to a Montana Mike's so I am unaware of the dip. I am sure it is delicious, I hopped on their website and love the look and feel of the restaurant. Because I maintain the highest integrity of this channel, I would not be comfortable recreating something that I have no experience with. However, I did email the MM corporate HQ and, using my cred, requested the dip recipe. I will let you know when they get back to me. Thanks again!😍
@@RestaurantRecipeRecreations Hi I just made this recipe. I't taste wonderful but is gritty from the sugar . Can you tell me where I went wrong? Thank you
Hi Robert, my first guess would be that the glaze needs to reduce for longer. I know it doesn't show on video, due to editing, but the glaze takes about 20+ minutes in order to reduce by half. Try again and let me know how it works out!
@@Dana-nw7pp As luck would have it, I have already done a video on Outback's Coconut Shrimp! Check it our here and thanks for watching! ua-cam.com/video/rAtMpaSG0Vs/v-deo.html
Can you make it easier to find your recipes on your website. I can't find this one , what do I look under, I put in Jack Daniel's sauce, jack daniels marinade, tgif jack daniels sauce. I love this channel just very difficult to find written recipes. thanks
Thanks Catherine, there is a search bar in the upper right of the website. But here is the link to the JD chicken, www.restaurantreciperecreations.com/tgi-fridays-jack-daniels-glazed-chicken/

I worked for TGIF before the shutdown. The big wigs decided to was to expensive to pay for the JD name so they changed the menus and promos to whiskey glaze.
I didn't think this tasted anything like JD glaze at TGI, It has a very strange after taste I think comes from the molasses and white sugar. My recipe is super close but I thought this may be the real deal, I'll stick to the one with brown sugar, Teriyaki, soy, dehydrated onions, catchup, liquid smoke, soy, and water.
I really like your videos, but for the sake of all us people with hearing loss, please get rid of the background music. I know those with good hearing never know this, but the extra sound just makes it that much more difficult for us to understand what is being said.
@@RestaurantRecipeRecreations : I'm new and really enjoying your videos. Being hard of hearing it would really be helpful if the recipes were printed in the description box or super imposed on the video itself. You wrote a comment in the question section on one of your earlier videos that you were going to set up a website that had your recipes but I don't see it. I'm not very tech savvy, so maybe I missed it? Thanks in advance.
Thank you! Very simple step by step instructions.
Thanks Cass 🥰🥰

You and me, both, Jeannette 🍸💗😁

My pleasure!😇
That looks nice I want to try that , I had to look up molasses , in England it's called treacle ! Thanks
You're welcome, Tom! That's funny to know, too, treacle! I have heard that. My husband went to school in England and he still uses some "English-isms"

Actually Outback steak house has better coconut shrimp than Red Lobster. Who woulda thunk it.

Hi, I'm Korean
I'm going to make "molasses" in Korea
Is there a replacement?
I don't know what it is and it's expensive here

How about try Tim Cheong? Or a dark syrup 😋
Can't wait to make this. I love their steak done with this but there isn't a TGI Fridays within 50 miles of here. THANK YOU!!!!
