  • This tutorial shares how to make 3D particle animations in After Effects without the use of 3rd party plugins or the traditional built-in particle effects. It also shows how to use the optional "Pixel Pusher" template, available at www.creationef.... Anyone with After Effects can create this effect and experiment on their own. Simply follow along with the tutorial to learn how. The Pixel Pusher template includes over 40 custom presets (including all the particle animations seen in the video). It's designed to be easy to use. Everything is customizable using convenient slider controls. This effect can be used to create 3D water or oceans, 3D landscapes with hills or mountains, grid or wireframe landscapes, flowing silk or cloth ribbons, and a variety of other abstract 3D elements. The effect also works with footage, breaking your footage up into thousands of small dots or particles to make a 3D pixelated halftone-dots look.
    The "CC Particle World" and "CC Particle Systems II" effects are limited in what they offer. This effect unlocks another, less obvious method of creating particles in Adobe After Effects, allowing users to create a different kind of animation in which pixels are pushed out in three dimensions, based on their brightness values. Watch the tutorial to learn how.
    Watch the "Pixel Pusher" demo video here: • Pixel Pusher - Create ...
    Template Features:
    Design presets - 41 comps featuring unique animations, including all of the animations from the demo video above.
    Easy customization - The presets can be customized with convenient slider controls. Detailed instructions are found throughout the template.
    3D - The designs are three-dimensional, and are compatible with After Effects camera layers. Reposition or animate your camera to view the elements from any angle.
    Landscapes & water - Create basic oceans or landscapes. Control the amount of detail in the waves or mountains, and animate them to move in any direction to simulate camera flyovers.
    Optional effects - Each preset includes multiple effects that you can unhide to quickly create unique new looks.
    Works with footage - The Pixel Pusher effect allows you to push areas of your footage forward or backward, depending on the brightness, creating a stylized look for your footage that can be used for transitions, glitches, or a futuristic, 3D pixelation effect.
    Includes both HD and 4K projects

    Here’s my take, after effects has everything all the plugins have, it’s just up to you to use the default tools to figure out how to do those stuff. It is possible if you know how to utilise the tools Just as you’ve showed. Great job. Learning more and more from your channel

    CC Ball action is awesome. I like it. But in order to make pixelating effect, like upclose screen or digital glitch I would use Grid effect.

    How did you manage to have options under transform controls, pixel pusher control and texture control (16:28). is this some feature only in advanced AE version. Because I am using CS6, and although I have CC ball, turbulent noise effect ... I am not able to understand how the control options can be seen like yours. Please reply.. it is driving me nuts.

    • @creationeffects
      @creationeffects  3 роки тому +2

      Those controls are part of the template. They won't be there if you're just building the effect yourself. They're created with the Pseudo Effect Maker plugin, and they just control different properties in the effects, so they make customization easier.

      @@creationeffects Ah... I see. Thanks a lot for reply. I would have gone insane. I was still watching the video and trying to figure out. 😂😂. This is a great great tutorial. Absolutely Loved it. Have already seen it 5 times while practicing simultaneously. I still need to get used to managing the camera movements. I will tag you when I am hopefully able to create something.

    does this have an option to loop it ?

    • @creationeffects
      @creationeffects  3 роки тому

      It's not built into the controls, no. You could loop your animations through fading, as shown in this tutorial I made here: ua-cam.com/video/uI5mbXnuzq4/v-deo.html
