- Is this a breakthrough in longevity science?! Dr. David Sinclair announced that he and a team of researchers at Harvard Medical School have a new study out - he said it shows that age reversal is possible with chemical cocktails (through partial cellular reprogramming). Although many people are excited, some experts are questioning it on Twitter. I think it's important to listen to different opinions and look at things from all perspectives. It will be interesting to see how longevity research evolves over the next decade! I hope they continually make advances in this field.
Check out video #2 here that shares details of the 6 chemical cocktails that were said to be successful, with a focus on one particular supplement - • Supplements in Sinclai... .
Although I did my best to share the study details, it is still quite complicated. Please check out the link to my post below for more info, or let's all chat in the comment section below! - Holly

Unfortunately David sincere is really hard to believe, he does not peer review his findings. kinda sketchy unfortunately. he did this couple of years ago too, gains popularity and then disappears when people start backlashing. he claims findings without doing proper trials i feel.
@@LuciousKage I totally understand the skepticism. I know a lot of people dislike the way he shares study details, many saying he is sensationalizing things, which gets a lot of attention. We'll have to see if anything comes of this in the future.
@@LifeDIY yes, I have connections to longevity startup in Tokyo and we have events with many scientists in the field here in japan, must say, no one ever mentions him.
Reducing the measured age by more than three years after only four days of treatment???? GIVE IT TO ME NOW
It's 4 days in mouse time
@@Joe_C. I know it was a joke Lol😂
@@Joe_C. Mouse time? That mouse-ist, bro.
Why is it SO slow, it's been more than a decade since Yamanaca factors won Noble prize, considering how mach progress we have made in AI, why can't we feed the data into AI and let it figure out the best potential treatments and try them on animals and then feed the results back into AI again to speed up the process, it might speed up by 100 times, shorten the 10 years required by human research to mere months or even weeks, please let AI help us !!!

But something makes David different in new videos he looked not so good as before and he changed his diat
Easy money for Sinclair. there is no study on human for longevity since this will take a century for empirical evidence. So, he counts on the hope that people have that they will live forever. This attracts a lot of willing to believe people. Who doesn't want to live young for longer? What's the risk in believing something like this? Seems zero (but that's an illusion).
😂
You'd make a good ai voice
Well, Brenner.... jealous, jealous, jealous. And dedicated like a crusader.
So, the whole mouse looks younger, lives younger. And consists of what? time travelled cells? xenomorphs? secret allografts? awakened dinosaur cells? It is pretty obvious that you need not test all trillions of cells whether they kept their identity.
This being said, I also await further studies on other organisms, specialized human cell cultures etc etc. but Brenner's points are sticking on him himself.
You look very young so what's your protocol?
😃
I see that humans are programmed to think in specific ways, but if they don't challenge beliefs .., they'll trend toward what's common yet Dr. Sinclair's work presents something significant.
I follow both of them on twitter…Basically Charles Brenner poo-poos anything David Sinclair says.😂 I agree with you Holly, this stuff is quite complicated, but personally I remain open minded and optimistic. All these discoveries are relatively new. Hopefully longer term studies on humans will enlighten us further.?
I love your approach to this - being optimistic and open minded! And I've seen Brenner go after so many things posted by Sinclair too. Besides that, more studies are underway already.
@@LifeDIY Thanks Holly! I enjoyed reading your blog. I'm fascinated with all things anti ageing, but I have to admit much of it goes over my head...🤔
Being able to do this would make money on a scale that would dwarf the current pharma companies profits. It would make trillions.
First of all either read it or leave it up long wnough to be read. Secondly and I am a Sinclair fan. Publishing in a journal as fact that you are a Coeditor of IS a little sketchy. I guess we all have to stay tuned
''Some are like water, some are like the heat
Some are a melody and some are the beat
Sooner or later, they all will be gone
Why don't they stay young?
It's so hard to get old without a cause
I don't want to perish like a fading horse
Youth's like diamonds in the sun
And diamonds are forever
Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever, forever and ever?
Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever? Forever young''
I’ve heard skeptics are calling his new posts as hype and nothing new
Snake oil salesman
what were the other age age reversing chemmicals that they found besides the six do you know
Let me get some of these chemical cocktails 😁
You don't have to worry about any of this. I can tell that even when you're an older woman, you're going to be very beautiful. There is going to be one very lucky old man out there that every day is going to look at you and think, how did I end up being so lucky.
So, she should define herself by the old man?? She is relaying scientific information, not looking for your weird sexist crap.
This is about more than just looks, it's about warding off all the normal ailments and disease that comes with aging. She's gonna have to worry about that no matter how attractive she is.
Maybe someone will leak the compounds so that everyone can go do it.
Are the chemicals available naturally in foods I like to know
With respect, I'll believe it once i see it in action. Until then, it's just words.
Awesome video, thanks for covering Longevity ❤
David SinCLAIRE recently hyped a study of his, claiming that his proprietary supplement reversed aging in dogs. This led to professor Matt Kaeberlein and the former Dean of Harvard medical school, professor Jeffrey Heffer to make public statements against David Sinclair, Matt Kaeberlein states that after careful consideration I’ve pronounced my membership in the Academy for health and lifespan research for which Davidson SinCLAIRE is the president. I find it deeply distressing that we’ve gotten to a point with dishonesty and sides is normalized to such an extent that nobody is shocked when a 10 Harvard professor falsely proclaim in a pre-statement that the product is selling to pet owners has reversed aging in dogs. To me This is textbook, definition of snake oil Salesman.
Love the video, but not the study. They used valproic acid (V), CHIR-99021 (C), E-616452 (6), tranylcypromine (T) and forskolin (F). Almost zero chance this will carry over to humans. Only made headlines because it has Sinclair's name attached to it. Nice chemistry trick? Absolutely. "Age reversal"? No way
Thanks, Nick! I appreciate your view. Even if these chemicals aren't promising for humans, hopefully their novel screening methods will allow them to continue testing lots of other molecules.
Agreed. Personally I prefer looking eastwards and towards traditional Chinese formulations for longevity. Have been used for thousands of years and very effective.
Very interesting, thanks Holly.
Thanks, Vince!
Poor show....tell us the chemicals used!! Don't have me go to more videos.
Here's a link to the video sharing details about the chemicals ua-cam.com/video/Y2kF37PTxVQ/v-deo.html. I didn't have time to put it in the last video.
This is all old news.
Ponce de Leon approves of this message.
Thank you for posting this- especially helpful for the non-Twitter crowd. I'll put my money on Sinclair for now and follow this development closely.
No problem! Thanks for watching. There is so much going on there on Twitter and it is hard to keep up with. I was surprised that I didn't see any other youtubers mention the study. It's going to be interesting to see what happens in the future.
@@LifeDIY Absolutely. Sinclair and other top researchers seem close to solving the "aging disease", which radically change everything. Blows my mind to think about all the consequences.
It's about time
Definitely works with mice, however...humans ?
The great adventure. The goal. The only thing: don't die.
Don't be fooled.
For the first time, a reason for living, the only one that is not trivial: to live.
You realize ?
Considering Sinclair has an outstanding reputation in the longevity science field & isn't trying to upsell any supplement like Tru Niagen, I trust his science over someone trying to block truth in order to make a profit!
His reputation has taken a massive hit after trying to get NMN off the shelves to put money in his pockets.
Resveratrol turned out to be a sham noone else could replicate, and as stated he is trying to corner the NMN market by having it classified as a drug instead of supplement
you look like you are about 25 years old
wow thanks!
Super performans bravo holly
Very interesting studies. What I am concerned about is what they will find as a mitigating factor or application within these therapies for free radical accumulation and disposal. Making cells younger is one thing. Actually tricking DNA to ignore its own time clock is another. So, a body’s ability to cleanse itself from the cellular level all the way up systemically on an ongoing basis especially for those that are older ,is a big question mark for me. Also, not all people will respond physiologically either!
preocupação envelhece... apenas relaxe e espere.
Nice video 😮😮😮😮😮😮
I feel so young. Let me know if you come across a chemical for age speed-up 👴
LOL we have some of those. I think sugar might help you with that!
Which compounds
You can find a link to the compounds that were successfully used in their study here: www.aging-us.com/article/204896/supplementary/SD2/0/aging-v15-204896-supplementary-material-SD2.pdf and I am working on a quick video on the topic too.
They say that our strong inner volition and attitude will keep us alive, serene and active, beyond whatever physical malady we may have.
Learning how to appreciate the different bacterial and viruses, internal organs, systems, cells and so on, furthermore, can further enhance longevity...
... many are successfully talking, in gratitude, to their bodies...
...learning how to eat/exercise/sleep/think/reflect and materialise the overalk sense of well being in all aspects of their lives, in better and better ways.
Others are totally in awe of the positive effects of mudras, acupressure points, herbal tinctures, gem therapy, sound baths (such as 432 Htz music), etc.
Through the 'Emotion Code' by Dr Bradley, 'You are the Placebo' by Dr J Dispenza, "The Biology of Belief' by B. Lipton, 'The Power of Eight' by Lynne MC Taggart and similar materials, longevity skills can also get successfully implemented to prolong our life.
At the end of the day, despite polluted global waters, air, sky and earth, our inner wish to survive all odds, coupled with the skills to maintain inner balance and stability, will proverbially move mountains for us who 'choose' to live longer.
The need to move away from outdated and inculcated frames of mind is of paramount importance to do so. Our limiting beliefs are a trap.
The body may look aged and ache yet, a truly 'alive spirit within' beats all currently tested scientific realities, as much now as it did in the past.
There is so much wonder and magnificence within the human Spirit that, with the help of well aimed daily practices and life style choices, we can all be led well and truly beyond what we were made to believe throughout the ages...
...hoping these lines may resonate with some of you too.
Namaste

Yeah I know what you mean. I am also hoping there is some merit to it. We will know in the future.
@@LifeDIY I'm now reaching out from the future. Have we learned anything since?
i know the critiques on on Dr Sinclair over NMN but still we are in a very interesting time in history as i do believe we will see the first stage cures of age reversal soon as there much more going on behind the scenes .Btw Holly hows your cat buddy Kipper ? i did ask on your last vid but got no reply
I totally agree! And I am sorry - I thought I replied about Kipper. His ear is doing alright. It is not worse and it has gone down somewhat. I will probably do another vlog with an update. Thank you for asking! 🙏
Actually, I just rewatched my vlog where I showed Kip's ear issue and I can see his ear is significantly better now. It still needs some more time, but I am happy it is getting better.
@@LifeDIY thats good to 'hear' that hes getting better
@@LifeDIY thats ok but coming back to the video i do believe with the amount of public interest expanding and the giant leaps in the science literally every week we are very close to some cures
Thank you!
Are these chemical cocktails available in supplement form?
I looked them up. Some of them yes, most are not readily available. It's way to early to put this into a supplement regimen.
Yeah I agree. One interesting thing to note though - is that Sinclair did a video interview about the OSK Genes/Yamanka Factors and in that video he was promoting CaAKG as a supplement that can turn on the OSK genes. Not sure how much research there is to back that, but I found that to be really interesting! I think I'll do a video on it coming up. He said, “Feeding 18-month old female mice AKG reduced hair greying, frailty & extended median lifespan 10-16%.” Here's another quote from the video - “What was discovered was that those three genes that we reversed aging in the mouse and in human cells can be activated or assisted by this Alpha-Ketoglutarate or AKG. And, if you put it on human cells their age goes backward.” Here is a link to the video clip: ua-cam.com/video/n5XjNdAudss/v-deo.html (sorry I can't find the original clip).
Life Extension sells Forskolin.
Tranylcypromine seems to be some sort of antidepressant medication.
Brenner isn't convinced, shocker 🤣
Hahah maybe next time! 😉
Are you considering taking part in studies similar to this?
No, I would not. :) Would you?
@@LifeDIY I would perhaps with the right incentives ie: I get paid for it, not deleterious to my health etc. Otherwise no, I'd play the part of the bystander and learn about it from a distance! Now, if it actually worked I'd want to take part in ongoing marketing and expansion of the project/research beyond the point where I could see it had been working for my personal health. Otherwise, me neither!
You are wonderful! So much useful and detailed info. Thank you! I will be reviewing this for weeks!
that you for this info you are on your game... ive recently discovered a supplement that has been used a while back since the mid 1950s called Tudca (tauroursodeoxycholic acid). ive been using it for a week now (after taking a break from NR for just a month) for overall health and well being and i feel great.. look into it when you get a chance
Thank you! It sounds super interesting. Maybe I can do a video on it in the future. I love learning about different supplements.
Hi! Just wondering why have you taken a break from NR? I am new to all these, so curious.
@@sabymondal i wanted to get blood work done including HbA1c done and i did not want false readings. When i regularly get my blood work done once or twice a year i will stop taking any supplements that i take regularly to give me a more accurate reading.
Tudca is amazing. Take it consistently and after awhile you’ll notice that you feel cleaner on the inside like you flushed the sludge out of your liver ducts and it thins your bile to help it flow more easily. It’s difficult to explain but that’s the best way I can describe it. I cycle on 3 months off one month and I’ve been using it for about a year and a half now.
I cannot recommend this supplement for liver health enough.
@@sgreen4449 Thanks!
You are so beautiful 😍
New new new diet - for autoimmune-compromised people (me) and/or obesity-type people. Beef and fruit only. Raw pineapple, melon, mango as much as you want and beef-only. Try it for 3 months. Originally I had added strawberries and goat's dairy but BOTH those had to go due to spots (psoriasis). Now I am happy, no spots & healthy with my pineapple 3 times a day and ground beef mince liquidised into a delicious beef-only stew. I add vitamin K2, omega 3 from algae, and vitamin d3 to my stew and blend them in.
I also take 20-30 supplements for longevity, they are extremely helpful indeed. Fortunately auto-immune requirements and long living requirements mostly coincide. My brain and mitochondria are tops at present (I am 73), before I was forgetful and fatigued - now I am like a kitten with the zoomies. I do minimal no-sweat gym twice a day, no heavy lifting - 10 minutes only.
Oh and best of all I drink one soya milk latte early mornings every day. Oh, and Sunday mornings before 10 a.m. I gorge on pink-icing-donuts and white-icing-cake - about 5 or 6!!! yum.. Just once a week cheating doesn't bring back auto-immune or diabetes problems and keeps me mentally happy - can't face a lifetime without Belgian buns and cake.
