Ma'am I am a regular viewer of your channel😊. U upload healthy, easy and yummy recipes specially without rice. God bless🙏, it is sooooooo helpful for my sister who is diabetic. Thx again😊
I think she has also added the baking soda, look carefully when she transferred the paste from the mixer to the bowl 2 time. The water was bubbly. And after that she mixed it and set aside for fermenting.
Hey i actually made millet (banyard and little foxtail) idlis and did add sago and poha as well along with some horsegram but my idlis didn't rise during steaming and it turned out to be very sticky any reason for this so that i may improve myself next time?
Too many factors may affect the outcome. The most common mistake I see is that millets are soft and dense, so they don't need many softening agents. Adding too much sago or poha can make the batter sticky. Use either sago or poha, but only in small quantities. Horsegram is quite dense and can affect the texture. Also allow to ferment the batter until fluffy. Hope this will helps😊
it was Superb!! very soft and fluffy, I think we can add 1 cup of poha for thicker texture instead of just half cup. Dosa's was good & tasty, guilt free eating!!

I'm so glad to hear that the idlis turned out great even without yogurt and baking soda! There are no special instructions other than what's mentioned in the recipe. Happy cooking😊
Dear it us very good healthy. But please keep them upside up & down side down they will look beautiful in your presentation . In video u have turnd upside down .
The quantity of poha is very very less wen compared to the amount of rice you would hv used if it were a normal idli recipe. Almost nil. So its healthier than the normal idli. You can't deny that.
@@rekhamurlidhar7137 I do agree with that. I still feel it is misleading... No rice is different from "little rice" I am not disputing the fact whether it is healthy or unhealthy. I am just stating it is misleading.
It’s a nice idli dosa recipe video you made , but you can’t say there is no rice 😊- poha is flattened rice what else? It is rice in different form - flattened into thin poha! 😃😄So idlis and dosas ( traditional ones at least , taste good only original way with rice and dal ground together )so what you used too is rice in poha form! 😊😊😄 But looks great thanks for making the video ! Good job! 👏 😊👏👏👏
You are absolutely right😊 Poha is indeed flattened rice, and I shouldn't have said there is no rice in the recipe. Thank you for pointing that out and sharing your knowledge. I appreciate your kind words about the video, and I'm glad you enjoyed it😊 Your feedback is valuable, and I'll make sure to be more accurate with my ingredients in the future. Thank you for the correction😊😊
@@sumansongs I didn’t say you can’t add - I just said - the title says - no rice idli dosas! So I just said poha is rice ! Didn’t say you can’t use it! It’s a good recipe for sure loved it ! 😊👍🙏
1. Urad dal and split moong dal in equal measure plus some methi seeds 2. Wash these , rinse off the excess starch 3. Soak overnight 4. Wetten rice flakes 5. Blend the rice flakes and soaked pulses 6. Add enough water to idli batter consistency 7. Ferment 10 hours 8. Add salt 9. Pour on idli mould , steam and enjoy!
Really? Won't you feel bore without music😊? I am asking? This is no talk video. Let me know if many of them them feel the same with music. Anyway thanks for letting me know😊.
😊Poha is made from rice, it's not necessarily higher in calories than regular rice. It offers slightly more nutritious than plain white rice because it retains some of the bran and fiber from the rice husk.
I tried out this recipe today & it came out fabulously fluffy & soft.Thank u for t healthy & nutritional recipe.👏

Rice is more carb compare to poha. more health benefits also in poha. better version of rice, so you can add
Though poha is flattened rice but is low in carbohydrates and it is allowed for diabetic patients compared to rice

Poha is rice only. That too high caloric than rice
😊Poha is made from rice, it's not necessarily higher in calories than regular rice. It offers slightly more nutritious than plain white rice because it retains some of the bran and fiber from the rice husk.
