    Moong Dal Idli is a healthy breakfast recipe made using moong dal or yellow lentil ( dehusked & split green gram ). This is an instant recipe made using without rice or fermentation. Traditionally Idlis are made by grinding soaked rice & urad dal & then fermenting the batter. However this is an easy to make , instant , no fermentation Idli recipe. No rava has been used in making these soft idlis. This is also a healthy weight loss recipe as it is made steamed & made using moong dal only which is full of proteins. It is a gluten free & vegan breakfast recipe and can be given in kids lunch box too. It tastes best with coconut chutney or fresh coriander chutney.
