Hello D colony, I admire your creations. Where do you find your grout mixtures for your nests?
I bought it from a hardware stores buddy.
@@Dcolony Can I just get any grout? Are all grout water absorbant?
Yes buddy, but the plain one is not so good, if possible choose sanded grout. Or you could mix sand yourself to the grout if you can't find a sanded grout.
What camera do you use bro? And when do ghost ants have their nuptial flight.
Just my phone buddy, I don't have proper a camera. 😭
It does look cute but+ what about an 'elevator shaft'? So they dont have to run spirals but could go straight up? perhaps even break up the 1 floor a little?
I'd be worried al the moist spirals up and out. Also whenever an ant wants to go down they have to bump into every other worker along the way ;(
Errr~ tis isn't for me. The technique however seems godo to create something new to improve on those quirks
I did the spiral thing on purpose buddy, since the ants house on them needs to travel long distances like in the wild, just additional exercise for them.

I didn't use plaster on this one buddy, we used sanded tile grout. 🙏🫡

Nope, their hard as concrete and heavy too to easily fall buddy.

Yes buddy, proper testube set ups will last 3 months or more in my experience.

Just add water to the grout powder buddy. I will make a short video about it soon since there's some askin for it lately
