there's that + the fact that there is way too few members, the amount of members increase the Imp authority u get and with 22 at the start i think u get 0 or even a minus
I think this is the first time in any of the videos on this channel we've seen Ming not only survive to the end, but remain a Great Power throughout. Cheers to them!
Only the AI could have Britain get a PU on Castille and still muck things up despite that. If a human player secured that then it's mostly game over for the typical new world competitors.
Mod to be made (i guess): Imagine if in the same game every culture group has its own shogunate (or HRE, if you could add multiple instances of it in the same game), let's say up to 30 dev each daymio likewise it is in Japan or randomish sized countries likewise its in hre with that chuncky Austria and Bohemia.
you said "from the dutch" when meaning denmark i think xD thats hilarious xD as netherlands never existed you cant have meant them so you rly just called danish the dutch xD but dont worry you also called spain canada seconds before xD
It's always interesting to see stuff like. Both for how the world changes.... but also the presumptions of "normal" that go into it that aren't normal for me in my games (probably because I'm missing key DLC or something). Like I haven't seen Ming fail since I got "Mandate of Heaven" back when it released. Ever since they are terrifyingly stable. I can have taken 2/3 cities, devastated half their nation, and stolen half their Tributaries as a player... and they'll still have positive Mandate Growth and be passing reforms, and expanding in directions other than the land I've taken. Similarly while I eventually see the Ottomans stop blobbing... I never see them actually collapse entirely. Their various disasters with Jannisaries or something gives them a window of vulnerability that the AI doesn't tend to take advantage of. I can as a player, sure. Easily at times. But their various rivals and peer stats just don't seem willing to take on the usual "I have both Quantity and Quality" Ottomans. Which I don't entirely blame the AI. Ottoman blob fracturing can be an annoying slog if you haven't been managing them regularly and burning their manpower down every chance you have... I can't remember the last time I saw the HRE pass more than 1 reform at max. The HRE just never can straighten out its authority after the first few years. It's kinda sad as, as you said, I find a good HRE is a stabilizing factor that kid of balances out things like Megapoland or Blob France or Scandinavia going ham, etc. Keep the balance in Europe. But it also depends on the HRE actually being strong enough to enforce it. And usually mid-late game they just aren't anymore with their own internal woes and collapses like clockwork. I figured the Holy Mayalan Empire wouldn't really work out too well. From the look of the interface they didn't really change much (They still had events like the Burgundian Inheritance it seems?) so they wouldn't have too many events for the AI to navigate with any level of success (Not like they'd benefit off the Shadow Kingdom event). As well the AI tags down there don't get ideas like Court Ideas or Diplomatic Ideas generally that would have helped the Empire internally compared to the normal HRE's more limping along barely held together. Also just sad they fell but predictable. EU4's modeling of colonial expansion of like "Okay 5,000 Spaniards landed and can stackwipe 20,000 locals because they have +3 Mil Tech" is... well it's what most people think the history of colonial growth looked like. Like that Conquistadors landed with a few thousand men and took over empires because "Hey we have guns and horses and you don't". Which was basically never the case and usually it was more like "Okay so we made an alliance with 20,000 of your enemies locally to defeat your 20,000 man army where the relatively small numbers of advanced tech we had played a tipping scale factor... and we'll later screw those 20,000 native allies we made but not now because we need them". It's kind of frustrating to see things like say, a Kongo who has an army of 50,000 get completely crushed because Frisia sent like 6,000 men down (more apt to the 19th Century than the 16th). It's just sad when I know interesting things like a Holy Mayalan Empire is going to fall because Spain will eventually send over like 5,000 soldiers that the Empire just can't stop even with all its armies.
You could do a video where every region or continent has it’s own separate HRE
Impossible, since eu4 only supports one, it's hard coded.
@@Idoexist._. damn that’s sad ig
Eu5 hopefully 🙏
probably to keep a country from being elected emperor of two HRE’s, i imagine the game would shit itswlf

You could remove heretic penalty from imperial authority. It would be more interesting if Majapahit actually push some reforms and build power house.

I want an HRE in all of India with big guys like Bengal being electors and Delhi as emperor at game start

This is indeed the true Holy place for the Dutch
I just realized, these borders are almost exactly like halfway through old drew durnil's mega campaign

me when my stupid idea gets a youtube video
Here’s an idea: make a mod that disallows subjects of all types (PUs, vassals, tributaries, etc.).

Funny how this was such an eventful game despite the SEA HRE, which was ostensibly the highlight, doing nothing at all.
HRE is just here to avoid France and Poland blobing
Gotta tell my history teacher that if only there was a Holy Malayan Empire, my nation would rule the world!😂
the island is called hispaniola
Napoleon finally got spain. GG
this is like my dream video to have come out

I think a video where all of the Middle East and Anatolia except the ottomans are the HRE

I like how bro plays infinite amount of EU4 and barely has a grasp on mechanics.
Really cursed idea
what about a whole world hre?!
Pretty sure he's done that before, just go back a lot. Might be cool to do it again tho with the revamped HRE in 1.37.

It should have been Japan (but still good)
Are you able to do HRE in India?
