@Hasbro83 All but Sati. Even if she was willing to work with them for the Greater good, Section 31 would be smart enough to realize her singleminded lawfulness is a ticking time bomb for them.
TNG definitely had a thing for corrupt admirals. Most of the rest of Star Trek didn’t have these “Badmirals” in such high concentrations, with Cartwright probably being the worst offender. On the opposite end of things, Admiral Ross from DS-9 is IMO one of the best examples of a Starfleet Admiral, and should be held up as an example of what they should be. Despite his serving as an Admiral, Kirk however never seemed suited to the role, and is best held up as a shining example of a Captain.
Awesome video as always. I think what drives these admirals off the band wagon is fear. Fear drives people to see demons where none exist; therefore, causes their own demise. This is the reason why I never want to be a manager/supervisor of some sort. The only way I would consider that role unless the command structure breaks down and people aren't able to cope with crisis.

TNG season 5 episode 3
Yes, the episode Ensign Ro?
I would argue that the cloaking device being illegal is subjective. If he had been on DS9, he might be considered a hero , and a genius. Imagine the Defiant with a cloaking device approved by the Romulans , and also able to phase through walls. It is like turning on your transporter unto your entire ship . Making it so materials can pass through solid matter. Oh Lord I read too much sci fi .
It isnt Subjective as it is clearly stated in that episode that it is ILLEGAL and why...
Also it's kinda weird to like your own comment... Just sayin... :P
admiral nechayev should be on this list. the worst admiral in star trek. at least the others had (arguably) good motives.
Just because someone has a bad attitude does not make them Infamous, sorry...
Starfleet Admirals. What a clown show!
