The colour tip (#6)is the one that has made the biggest difference in my wardrobe because now I can admire outfits in stores,but know that it doesn’t fit into my preferred colour scheme and therefore don’t waste money buying it.
I agree when I returned to work full time 5 years ago I went with the typical “office work attire”. Two years later I really started to focus on colors. Like Priska, fuschia, blues, burgundy are my colors. I realized my best neutral is rust/caramel color. But color goes with my personality. Love the reminders here. I need to declutter for my current life.
Oh boy, tips 1-3 are what I need to work on right now 🥴 I am almost 5 months postpartum and really struggling to dress myself for my current lifestyle, and not my fantasy self or my past self. I LOVED my past style and now my clothes are too small and I’ve been flailing about, trying to redevelop the way I dress, succumbing to trying to copy others in order to “find myself”; feeling frustrated and like I’ve “lost myself”. Body changes that are so dramatic are tricky.
I already relate to you so much!! And I find such a strong link between enjoying my outfits pre-pregnancy and those facets of life. And now there are different facets to life...and different outfits to enjoy. But I obviously haven't figured that out yet. I'd like to make a postpartum outfits video when I'm in that stage (and assuming I can help). But for now, I hope you find clothes that delight you and work for your new chapter of life. ❤️ ❤️
Random question on the quince silk midi skirt. Do you find that its resistant to wrinkles? As in, can you lounge and sit and shift and move in it throughout the day without looking like a mess by the end? I have been heavily favoring their silk tanks all summer as an elevated tank/ ultimate lounge top... But sitting in a tank is not the same as sitting in a skirt. Lol. Thanks for your input!
Good question! The answer is a solid no, it's not wrinkle resistant. It wrinkles when I sit on it, whether that's lounging or at a restaurant or in the car. I hope this helps you make an informed purchasing decision. :)
Great video! One of my favorite things to do is sell clothes,shoes, and accessories that are in excellent condition I no longer wear for whatever reasons. I do this with home goods too.

That dress is a couple of years old and sold out, but it's from Modern Citizen. They have great quality, so keep an eye out for their fall and winter collections. The Moto jacket is several years old, but I got a new one last year from Quince that I adore -- it's burgundy & maybe you've seen it.

That’s great! 🙌🏼 And I feel the same way. It’s allowed me to admire pretty things without “needing” them, which grows contentment.
