I love that technically everything is in style. We can just wear whatever we want! And honestly, when I leave the house, everyone is still in skinny jeans and gym leggings. So I don't really care what TikTokers are saying is in or out, because clearly no one is listening! So I'll just keep wearing what I feel good in 😊 I love your videos ❤
Last year updates: 1. I decluttered all my skinny jeans and all my uncomfortable shoes. 2. I bought only natural materials. 3. I experienced more with cuts and different sizes. 4. I returned all the clothes that didn't fit (I shop online) and I didn't keep anything with the hope that it will someday fit me.
Love this video! I have three rules to update my wardrobe this year: 1. It's forbidden to me to buy anything black. Currently my wardrobe is more than 70% black. And I will try to challenge myself to live without black at all this spring and summer. I always wear it because I look slimmer in it. 2. I will only buy feminine blouses, dresses and flowy skirts. I tried minimalist capsule clothes and I am too bored. 3. I will try to dress more in my favourite colours: white/cream, true red and caramel brown and be more bold with my color choices. I will not dress anymore to fit in.
Yesss! To all of this. I tried the minimalist capsule, too, and I’ve migrated toward a more colorful & feminine wardrobe. Red & caramel together are 👩🏻🍳💋
I'm also trying to move away from black and into more color. Olive green instead of black for pants has been an easy swap and it feels better for spring. :)
Coastal Preppy Grandma here🙋🏼♀️ Edited...I went to a black-tie funderraiser over the weekend. I can verify that Barbie pink lives. I'm not sure if the women were outfit repeating( good for them if they were) but Barbie pink was the prevalent color for women.
LOVED THIS VIDEO!!! You asked about bags, I'm a teacher so I carry a backpack and lunchbox. I carry a crossbody/shoulder bag on weekends. You made me giggle a few times, I agree on the awful toe cleavage ballet flats. Ew! LOL I appreciate your tips, so I don't have to "lose my mind." 💘
Hi Priska!! Would you have any ideas on how to style pencil dresses in a contemporary way? I have loads from my past office days, and they look odd with sneakers, and I’m stuck on how to use them more often… I love them, but I don’t know how to layer them in a modern way. Thanks and much love xx
I think the key with modernizing classic pieces like a pencil dress is to add contemporary accessories, like a scarf or statement necklace (Banana Republic has some office-appropriate ones), or add in a belt. I’ll agree with your assessment that they don’t look good with sneakers. But hey, ballet flats are widely available now! So if you’re looking for a more walkable option, that should work for you!
Eclectic grandpa? 🤣 🤣Whatever 🤷🏽 I wish I paid attention to the fashion details of my growing up decades but luckily I developed my own style and don't care about such things...

Precisely! 🎯 Wear what’s authentic to you, and you’ll always look stylish. Thanks for your kind words!!

We are so in sync, I’m simply delighted to see this!

Great idea, Stephanie!
I also have problems walking in kitten heels. I'm glad to know it's not just me. lol
Like for realllll. I can’t believe anyone CAN walk in them! 🤯
I really like your sense of humor on your videos. I’m a subscriber I think I’ve been here for maybe 6 months. It makes watching more enjoyable.
That's lovely to hear! Thank you for being here 🤗

Peach is great for me and all warm undertone folks.
I like a classic tote and a small bag with removable strap.

I would style them with hi top sneakers and a casual jacket and sporty bag. 🤙
Hi Priska, love your trouser outfit ! Where is it from?
The blue set I'm wearing is from Tuckernuck. I think it's sold out now though.
The toe cleavage shoes are a sin 😂 The outfit you’re wearing suits you perfectly, you look gorgeous!
Thank you! It does feel so "me" 🥰
waiting for new video
Love the video, those camel toe shoes are a hard no. Thanks
Haha! Of the entire video, that’s the image burned in your head. My apologies 🤣🤣
I pass on those too but they are called Tabi shoes and are inspired by traditional Japanse footwear so not a random deaigner joke 😅 maybe good to know
Eclectic grandpa? 🤣 🤣Whatever 🤷🏽
