The fabric content is the most important to me. I'll always prefer linen, since it's breathable, wicks the moisture away and has antibacterial properties - so it'll also smell less. 😀 Also the perfect dress has to be flared & roomy or adjustable in the waist. And I agree with you on the length, midi is great. It looks flattering on my body and works also with my lifestyle: I commute & run my errands by bike (Europe...).
So glad you discovered Hill House Home in time for summer - a friend gifted me one of their dresses and I fell in love immediately because the fabric is clearly super high quality, they’re made so well, the smocking means the dresses will change with your body, and they have pockets! I picked up a few more from a sample sale and I wear them constantly so yeah, definitely worth the money (and duping them is a brilliant move by Quince!).
Thank you! 😊 Unfortunately, I don't. It's several years old from H&M (🤯), and I haven't found anything comparable on the market in linen, lemon print, and the cut.
Hey, I just saw a similar dress that's available for preorder, and thought of you! It's cotton, has a fitted bodice, and midi length. Here's the link: shopstyle.it/l/cb5cN
Great video! I always learn something new from you. Question...i noticed that belts look so nice on you. I wish i could say the same for myself. I just cant seem to make them work, especially with dresses. Idk, maybe its because im such a small person.🤔🤷🏽♀️ any advice??
Yeah, I get that problem. It heavily depends on the belt and the fit of the dress. With my looser dresses, I choose a thicker belt, so it creates a faux fitted midline, and thus a more hourglass shape. Try various belts, and if you need to cut them shorter or use fashion tape to keep it in place, do that!
Aw I wish I did. It's a few years old from Lauren by Ralph Lauren. I bought mine off of poshmark, so you can try searching "zebra print button down tie-wrap linen dress". That's how I found mine.

Hi, I would love to help, but I don't understand. There are no cards on the table, so I can't tell what needs to be adjusted. Can you clarify?
