@@frannfoxxthose are likely considered just fun game things like the one punch man and Titans mode. Whether or not they are implemented as canon in the final game is yet to be confirmed. I hope they are though as it would add a lot of lore to the occult club.

Maybe use the kickstarter as the big name reveal, indicating that yandere simulator evolved from a test version into a fully fledged serious game. They probably know who ryoba is because of the trial that she was on but when they declared her innocent of the crimes they didn't really consider much after that so he she was able to come to nap him quite easily but she probably had her mother like make excuses to their senpai's parents well she was keeping him in the basement

It’s quite surprising that wealthy parents of academy students do not react in any way to all the crap that Ayano usually does at school. I think any such academy in our world would be closed for a couple of months and everyone would be interrogated a million times, and all the newspapers in the world would write about all this cruelty.

When an Aishi gets their soulmate, do they automatically get cured of the Aishi condition, or do they still have it and have to stay close to their soulmate for the rest of their lives to rid them of the feeling of being "hollow"? 2. Has an Aishi ever failed to make their soulmate love them back in previous centuries?
1. The only thing that can reduce the effect of the Aishi Condition is the proximity of the Senpai / soulmate. When the Aishi moves away from him, the Aishi Effect returns at full force. 2. Yes.

I don't think people would be too fond of that honestly... They would think "ah yes, releasing the same exact game but with gender swapped rivals as paid DLC". I think having brand new content is what they would rather see from a DLC.
@feder28 for me I wouldn't mind if the rivals are genderbent. I would be like, once I get to see how the female rivals are like. Time to hear and see what the male rivals are like! For me it feels like a new gameplay but everyone is the opposite.

Hello! I will be honest, I really love this type of videos, because it gives the opportunity to ask less "important" questions that are quite fun to think about. I am one of this werid people who are here not for the game itself, but storyline. My computer is too weak to take well the game, so I'm focusing on the story whitch I find very interesting and creative. It also gives a much needed inspiration. As someone who has a bunch of story ideas that have been sitting for years, its really inspiring to see you taking an idea to the next level despite what people say and stuff like that. Im happy to wait for all of the story and everything to be revealed and complete because I understand not wanting to rush something just so it can be "finished".

Yandere Simulator is the type of game that is made available while in an incomplete state, and then regularly updated with new content for a long time. There have been many games like this: Dwarf Fortress, Minecraft, Project Zomboid, etc. In fact, I would argue that even games like Genshin Impact fit into this category. The story mode isn't complete, but it gets updated every couple of weeks with new events/locations/characters, etc. It doesn't make sense to say "When are you finally going to finish the game?!" and other things like that, because Yandere Simulator is simply the type of game that periodically receives new features, new activities, new characters, new weapons, quality-of-life improvements, etc. Some games are supported long-term with updates and new content. That's the kind of game that Yandere Simulator became. To be honest, I don't see anything wrong with that. I feel that a continuously-expanding game is far more meaningful than a game where you just stab 10 girls and then you're done. By the way - there is a mode within Yandere Simulator where you can eliminate 10 rivals and see the credits roll. A complete story mode with a proper beginning/middle/end. If that's your criteria for a "finished" game, then Yandere Simulator is already "finished" in that sense. Does mida and muja like senpai in a romantic way? 4. Would it be possible to eliminate muja and mida by taking away their jobs or exposing them? 5. Will the concept of the yakuza come back? Like in 1980's mode? 6.(last one i promise) will the elimination "driven to murder" be added to the game?
It's hard to say. The game's future is dependent on various factors that are difficult to predict. Drama UA-camrs have spread misinformation and false accusations about me which have severely damaged my reputation. As a result, it may be extremely difficult to find the support I need to finish the project. However, I don't think that this is an impossible situation to overcome. Are you familiar with the UA-camr Kwite? He was accused of some of the worst misconduct that a person can possibly be accused of - rape, pedophilia, etc - and Drama UA-camrs made videos about the allegations, which immediately made him the target of widespread hate and harassment. Several months after the allegations were made, he released a 1-hour-and-30-minute video systematically debunking every false accusation that had been made about him, through the use of evidence and receipts that proved his innocence. His response video was met with overwhelming support, and widely praised for the sheer amount of counter-evidence he was able to present. After completely exonerating himself with a flawless masterpiece of a response video, he received apologies from the people who had harassed him, and the UA-camrs who had echoed the false accusations made about him were subjected to heavy criticism. It's really the best outcome that a person could possibly hope for, after being put into the crosshairs of the most sadistic people on the Internet. this game is really a serious game, ive been enjoying it for abt 3 years now and it has advanced, now we even have choking animations, although will we get the "clumsy fall" back? when ayano could "trip" on a person to get them wet as it will be a bit easier
I will say I do wonder how all the rivals would confess under the cherry tree. In my mind I had lots of ideas, Kizanas confession could be a play on Friday where she breaks character to confess and kiss. But honestly she is the only one I can see doing something other then the cherry tree
i have idea for amai for example: she makes cupcakes which are having love potion in them and then senpai falls in love with amai, my rejection idea for amai is that before confessing ayano secretly goes to cooking club room and makes discusting, not good cupcakes or put something bad in them and then senpai doesen't likes it

I think all of these hypothetical videos would make great kickstarter ads! Like, when the gamer is finally ready for the campaign, after releasing an announcment video, releasing some of these more "silly" videos would help to increase hype. The most popular videos on the yandere dev youtube are usually silly or character-focused, so a "DLC Rival Ideas" video or a "History of the Aishi Family" video would probably bring a lot of positive attention.

Ayano born in 2007?? Something about her being younger than me is very strange. I cant rlly explain it that well, but like I grew up with this game since I was 9, and Ayano’s always been 18. And now it feels strange that now I’m 17, and all of a sudden she’s going to be considered younger than me when the game comes out. Crazy.

So after watching the whole vid, you definitely put a lot of thought into answering these questions. But I’m a bit unsure with the last one: the Aishi family members being named after blades. Don’t get me wrong, I think that’s a cool and badass idea. The problem is that Ayano is the only one who isn’t named after one since there isn’t a type of blade named ‘Ayano’ (believe me, I tried.) So could there be a story behind this? Like if Ryoba broke up with her family after they didn’t approve of Jokichi and just refused to continue the blade-naming tradition? Or is it me just being a nippick and I shouldn’t be questioning this? 😅
yandev, have you ever had the idea of ayano having her own stalker? or someone in love with her? it would make eliminating the rivals much harder especially for speedrunners as you would have to carefully think about every action if you had a few students following you at a distance(like the photography club) their personalities could range from a simple stalker who is evil and doesn't care what ayano does to a wimp who will be scared but won't turn her in,my way to introduce the specific type of stalker would be based on how the player acts throughout the first few weeks- if the player chooses the 'pacifist' way to eliminate rivals a normal student will just follow her around but run away when confronted,if the player has some witnesses while eliminating rivals a 'evil' student will follow them and possible vouch for ayano by sending a teacher the wrong way,if the player managed to talk to the stalker they could convince them to do anything as they are in love with ayano,stuff like stealing or getting information which could be about the rivals schedule which could help the player without completely holding their hand by just being vague enough the player should be able to figure it out...sorry for the lengthy comment but I think it would be a neat idea to add more to your game,I've been here since 2015 and love yandere sim sm! don't burn yourself out! :D
Maybe when you are completely finished yansim, you can make a spin off game where the player is the female senpai and the male rival versions are yandere and the player has to report them to the counselor by using evidence you have to collect like a checklist, there should be some shy guys, and some daring and confident guys! :)

Interesting thing. The Yakuza has a lot of potential as a character and everyone really liked his backstory and things that wasnt mentioned in the game. Its really interesting to know what happened to his brother(did he follow his older bro footsteps or became a normal person the Yakuza always wanted him to be)

Yandere Simulator is the type of game that is made available while in an incomplete state, and then regularly updated with new content for a long time.
There have been many games like this: Dwarf Fortress, Minecraft, Project Zomboid, etc. In fact, I would argue that even games like Genshin Impact fit into this category. The story mode isn't complete, but it gets updated every couple of weeks with new events/locations/characters, etc.
It doesn't make sense to say "When are you finally going to finish the game?!" and other things like that, because Yandere Simulator is simply the type of game that periodically receives new features, new activities, new characters, new weapons, quality-of-life improvements, etc.
Some games are supported long-term with updates and new content. That's the kind of game that Yandere Simulator became. To be honest, I don't see anything wrong with that. I feel that a continuously-expanding game is far more meaningful than a game where you just stab 10 girls and then you're done.
By the way - there is a mode within Yandere Simulator where you can eliminate 10 rivals and see the credits roll. A complete story mode with a proper beginning/middle/end. If that's your criteria for a "finished" game, then Yandere Simulator is already "finished" in that sense.

It's hard to say. The game's future is dependent on various factors that are difficult to predict.
Drama UA-camrs have spread misinformation and false accusations about me which have severely damaged my reputation. As a result, it may be extremely difficult to find the support I need to finish the project.
However, I don't think that this is an impossible situation to overcome.
Are you familiar with the UA-camr Kwite?
He was accused of some of the worst misconduct that a person can possibly be accused of - rape, pedophilia, etc - and Drama UA-camrs made videos about the allegations, which immediately made him the target of widespread hate and harassment.
Several months after the allegations were made, he released a 1-hour-and-30-minute video systematically debunking every false accusation that had been made about him, through the use of evidence and receipts that proved his innocence. His response video was met with overwhelming support, and widely praised for the sheer amount of counter-evidence he was able to present.
After completely exonerating himself with a flawless masterpiece of a response video, he received apologies from the people who had harassed him, and the UA-camrs who had echoed the false accusations made about him were subjected to heavy criticism. It's really the best outcome that a person could possibly hope for, after being put into the crosshairs of the most sadistic people on the Internet.

I don't want to spend even a second of my time thinking or talking about drama. However, it has become apparent that I won't be able to live in peace - much less finish my video game - unless I discredit the false narratives surrounding me in the same fashion that Kwite did.

this game is really a serious game, ive been enjoying it for abt 3 years now and it has advanced, now we even have choking animations, although will we get the "clumsy fall" back? when ayano could "trip" on a person to get them wet as it will be a bit easier

I will say I do wonder how all the rivals would confess under the cherry tree. In my mind I had lots of ideas, Kizanas confession could be a play on Friday where she breaks character to confess and kiss. But honestly she is the only one I can see doing something other then the cherry tree
i have idea for amai for example: she makes cupcakes which are having love potion in them and then senpai falls in love with amai, my rejection idea for amai is that before confessing ayano secretly goes to cooking club room and makes discusting, not good cupcakes or put something bad in them and then senpai doesen't likes it

I think all of these hypothetical videos would make great kickstarter ads! Like, when the gamer is finally ready for the campaign, after releasing an announcment video, releasing some of these more "silly" videos would help to increase hype. The most popular videos on the yandere dev youtube are usually silly or character-focused, so a "DLC Rival Ideas" video or a "History of the Aishi Family" video would probably bring a lot of positive attention.

It’s pretty cool that you have a reason for the last name aishi, I always thought it was just a random surname that fit ayano’s first name
So after watching the whole vid, you definitely put a lot of thought into answering these questions. But I’m a bit unsure with the last one: the Aishi family members being named after blades.
Don’t get me wrong, I think that’s a cool and badass idea. The problem is that Ayano is the only one who isn’t named after one since there isn’t a type of blade named ‘Ayano’ (believe me, I tried.)
So could there be a story behind this? Like if Ryoba broke up with her family after they didn’t approve of Jokichi and just refused to continue the blade-naming tradition?

yandev, have you ever had the idea of ayano having her own stalker? or someone in love with her? it would make eliminating the rivals much harder especially for speedrunners as you would have to carefully think about every action if you had a few students following you at a distance(like the photography club) their personalities could range from a simple stalker who is evil and doesn't care what ayano does to a wimp who will be scared but won't turn her in,my way to introduce the specific type of stalker would be based on how the player acts throughout the first few weeks- if the player chooses the 'pacifist' way to eliminate rivals a normal student will just follow her around but run away when confronted,if the player has some witnesses while eliminating rivals a 'evil' student will follow them and possible vouch for ayano by sending a teacher the wrong way,if the player managed to talk to the stalker they could convince them to do anything as they are in love with ayano,stuff like stealing or getting information which could be about the rivals schedule which could help the player without completely holding their hand by just being vague enough the player should be able to figure it out...sorry for the lengthy comment but I think it would be a neat idea to add more to your game,I've been here since 2015 and love yandere sim sm! don't burn yourself out! :D
Maybe when you are completely finished yansim, you can make a spin off game where the player is the female senpai and the male rival versions are yandere and the player has to report them to the counselor by using evidence you have to collect like a checklist, there should be some shy guys, and some daring and confident guys! :)
