julian g Yeah, dyeing your hair is actually viewed as an act of rebellion in some asian countries, based on what I’ve heard from people who live there. Apparently dark hair is like a symbol of conformity, since naturally just about everyone’s hair is dark, its almost in the same league as a uniform, so dyeing your hair (especially bright colors like blonde or some kind of neon) is practically damning while in school or work because it really is just associated with delinquency by authority figures and older, more conservative folks. An interesting bit of cultural difference between here and there imo, but I’m a massive fucking geek 😅 lololol

The counselor has quickly become one of my favourite characters.
She's got the cold hard exterior, but she really does care for her students and will fight for them.
She reminds me of Nathile from Miraculous Ladybug...

Schools need more teachers like her. She wants to solve the problem that she says she is guilt for and that it is her responsability to fix it. In a lot of schools noone cares if someone is being bullied.
She is so cool (though she could fix the problem before when she had the chance, but everyone has mistakes and, some people, like teachers, don't want to recognize them like she did)

This is great! If the Yakuza gets added to the original story mode, then this would be the perfect reason to try to turn the delinquents around! Yan-Chan could talk to the councilor/Info-chan to learn about the backstory and that the councilor plans to try to rehabilitate the delinquents, then Yan-Chan could offer help to the councilor and that's how she helps the Yakuza. There are so many possibilities from just one video!
I really love this idea but with the release of 1980s mode the Yakuza has been sent to the past.

I personally like the idea but it's unrealistic. The bullies took it too far where they even considered suicide. A hug would not be enough speaking from experience. It takes way more than that. Plus they already have a shell they won't come out of because of the trauma they faced. They push Ayano if she gets too close same for anyone else.
Now the delinquent theme is more fitting with their transformation.
...I dunno the theme of the delinquents doesn't feel like it fits with the transformation they're underwent it just doesn't feel like it connects

There's more than one path that can lead to becoming a bully. People generalize bullying too much nowadays by saying it starts at home but its not always the case. You can have the perfect home life and still become a bully. A lot of bullies started out as being victims of bullying at school.

Tbf, those weren’t Akademi High students, they were from some other school. Also, Genka didn’t actually see the event take place and is, based on the recording, very suspicious if said fight even happened, only sure that a.) Osoro defended herself from a number of attackers, maybe 10, maybe more, maybe less and b.) that the Delinquents witnessed the event. She can’t really do anything because she can’t punish Osoro for defending herself from being assaulted, and can’t even learn anything conclusive about the events that took place
I will list reasons why Osoro was not expelled:
1- The guys tried to assault her, so technically it was self-defense.
2- it Happened outside the school gates, so Akademi has nothing to do with it.
3- She assaulted students from another school, not from Akademi.
4- She did suffer a punishment, she was suspended for two fucking months.
I wonder if Yandere-Chan should have her own secret admirer, some sort of quiet friend that follows her around and such.

Plus, the delinquents "master" isn't a rival of Ayano? So, making a sort of deal with the guidance concilier could be an interesting way to get rid of her. A way you could only understand by finding one of the mysterious tape...
I know some people are always searching secrets hidden in the game and sometimes they're totally ruining your work, YandereDev... But I miss all that mystery in the game

Honestly i love this insight to the Guidance Councelor and find it amazing that she blames herself for what happened to the Delinquents. I'm hoping that Yandere-Chan can somehow help her achieve her goal of helping the Delinquents (even if it would be very out of character for her)
Not necessarily out of character. If reforming the delinquents is an efficient way to get their leader (her rival) out of her hair, she'd be willing to do it

The delinquents also guard the incinerator, an important piece of equipment for Ayano. If she can get them to take up a more normal routine, it might leave the incinerator unguarded...
That still leaves the female delinquents.

Elizabeth Brawn yeah but she killed dozens of students and blood splattered everywhere how come she doesn't go to jail?!(I get that she might have not killed her opponents but as the counselor stated blood was everywhere and it seems like she didn't even get alot of injuries like she only got very little injury whilst fighting dozens of students while blood splattered which is definitely not hers but the others)

senpai is literally the most basic character out of everyone in the school. It's like picking a background character and choosing them as the main protagonist. Honestly, not even his personality is interesting. I hope Yandere dev will re design him.
I seriously want to cry, because this is something that I can really relate to. When in my middle school years, I was also constantly bullied because I was a very weak and quite girl. Speaking with my parents and the school staff about this did not help the problem. Instead, I was the one who got in more trouble, that I was exaggerating it. Until an old classmate of my class defended me by fighting my bullies, she told that I needed to do the same thing if I wanted to everybody to leave me alone. So, I did it. I still got into trouble with the school since I fought back. It make the bullies to leave me alone after a time, but it also make it difficult for me to make friends. I wish there was a teacher or staff member like her back in my middle school. People, even my family, called me a delinquent, and all my years I have been think that I was just really a bad person back then. Thank you Yandere Dev, thank you! Same here, it got to the point where my parents where having to talk to the principal themselves because no one would do anything...still didn't fix it but then again, they were the popular ones, can't really go against them.
yea i remember getting the "we'll talk to them" reply a lot of times in school. ironically enough, even if you have the same person called in at a later date, you still get the same response. so long as it doesn't get physical, nothing is usually done.
Schools need to stop playing favorites with their students. It's absolutely ridiculous. I would get shit talked by the other students DAILY because my mother had been a teen mom, the teachers would hear it, no one would do anything. The teachers there were absolutely appalling as well. At the age of 9, I started to develop in the chest. The teachers knew my parents couldn't afford big baggy clothes to cover me up completely so when I was a DD at 14 I was called out every day by the same teacher to go to the principals' office because I was 'breaking the rules' about how we were supposed to dress. I had to go there to get lectured over something I had NO control over. They would talk about how I was 'distracting the class' with how I dressed when what I would be wearing was jeans and a T-Shirt that was slightly tight in the chest. Even when I would be moved to the back of the class I was still being lectured for it. I'm being lectured because my shirt was tight, while they have girls walking around in spaghetti strap tank tops and WAY too short shorts. But yeah, let's ignore those girls who ARE breaking the rules, and let's go after the one person who can't do anything about her situation. *rolls eyes*

my next solution was GOD DAMN HITTING THEM...It got me almost expelled mutiple times, but it worked...long story short, until school ACTUALLY stops bullying when reported, violence is the correct option...but please warn people first, do not go around randomly hitting people
I was physically and mentally bullied in grade school. I developed social anxiety. The principle at the time said everything was my fault, before I showed up at that school they had no bully problem so I was causing all the problems. I was thrown into detention for defending myself and acting out. Whenever they hurt me they never got in trouble cause it was my word against the word of more than 10 people.

Because a there is a good deal of the characters are violent, cruel or distasteful, so it’s easy to be receptive to the characters who are kind, demure, passionate or willing to make up for their mistakes, like Miss Kunahito, who cares about her students and cares about her profession

I’m wondering if the guidance counselor will play a key role in Osoro’s unique elimination. Maybe if the player manages to frame Osoro even once, then the guidance counselor can suspend her right off the bat and the delinquents can be removed from the rest of the game
That'd be almost pointless in my opinion. Still a good idea but isn't Osoro the 9th rival? You'd only enjoy getting rid of the delinquents for the last and final week.
I might be mis-remembering but isn't she already suspended? Maybe if you frame her for something else, something bigger, she could get outright expelled instead.
Perhaps if you say to the Guidance Consellor that you want to help the delinquants, you may have her as an ally and she would tolerate some misbehaviors like being late to class if you show her that you are progressing with delinquants ...
It could be similar to Kokona's way, but also very different since everyone knows that she behaves bad, so you should need to suspend her in another way ...
Another solution is that Osoro don't want them to be in this attitude either, and things could get really interesting ...
Ohmygod, not only is the VA *amazing* but the backstory was so cool, it's difficult to imagine those 5 adorable boys becoming like this

Would be interesting if the player could reform the delinquents by managing to kill all the bullies in a certain way, and talking to them. It would be a long process but, Maybe then they’ll start taking school more seriously, and act like normal students. Until your attacked. Then they’ll defend you returning the favor, and preventing a single instant game over. Though due to this they’ll be expelled.

Probably better than using, say, modern cameras that don't use VHS tapes or something that involves the Internet. If a DVD gets scratched, it needs to be repaired or it won't work. VHS tapes don't have that problem, which is why the police still use them. Tape recorders also probably don't have that issue

A very interesting take on this particular rival's chapter. Is it possible that Yandere-chan will be approached by the guidance councilor and asked to assist in reforming Osaro in exchange for all records of Yandere-chan's misdeeds up to that point in the game being expunged, a sort of mid-game bonus as the difficulty ramps up? Perhaps if you succeed in reforming Osaro (or if she just... happens to stop showing up to school), maybe penalties from the guidance councilor will be less severe because she will owe you now. But fail to do so and with the councilor gone punishments will become drastically more harsh and expulsion more likely should anything go wrong.

I really think this can be aplied to some "bullies" of today, I mean, some of the people that now are bullies in the past they were bullied and that's the principal reason of why they are having this behavior now.
I feel very bad about the councelor... She is a good woman, she only wants to do her work and she's worried about the safety and the students, I really start to love her now.

The counselor doesn't want to frame Osoro, she just wants her gone from school for a while so she can reason with the other delinquints. Like she said Osoro isn't the problem, the boys are afraid to show their true selves because they don't want to be bullied again. When they saw that Osoro didn't get bullied they took her as an example. Osoro didn't tell them to act like her, they just did. However if Osoro is still at school the boys won't talk with the counselor because they don't want Osoro to be mad. It is just easier to reform them without Osoro at school. If they just see that thay won't be bullied even without using violence they won't go back to their old behaviour when Osoro comes back. Hope this helped
