That is such a cool idea! I like it both because it's vicious, but also because if you DO chose to do that, Kokona will have short hair for the rest of the game, but if you DON'T, it'll stay long. Idk, I'm just a sucker for small things like this that makes you feel like everything you do really has an impact on the world around you.
Rather than being expelled she could be put in detention for the rest of that week in the breaks between classes, so that would involve her being in a classroom with a teacher out of lesson times and if the teacher left for short periods of time that could be an opportunity to kill off Kizana with no witnesses, since the other students would be outside socialising :)
I'm actually quite happy he's realized how important Kokona is to the fandom as a whole! And if you plan to have her in the tutorial, why not also have a little chibi of her appear during loading screens giving tips or maybe even have her pop up with tips and tutorial help during the game? Like as a cute little reminder of certain controls or things the player can do?

This is like 4-5 years after this was uploaded, and I don't think many people will see this, but I feel like instead of just a task, we could befriend Kokona. I kind of wish her befriend/betray elimination stayed in the game. I know there is one for our first rival, Osana, but it would be interesting to do a pretty big task for a background character. It's kind of like what you can do to Horuda when she gets bullied.
I feel like after the tutorial with kokona, yan-chan and kokona become 'close friends' to other people. like kokona can be that girl in school who gossips too much and thinks yan-chan is her best friend and tells her everything and if kokona hangs around yan-chan so much she might invite her to her house and watch movies or help her study some and yan-chans perks can be raised and yan-chan can act out a bubbly personality like kokonas since she's around kokona so much and that can help with yan-chans reputation in school if she does something 'weird' around people
Heather Harp which would make the whole time loop even more interesting as she finds out the person she thought was her friend has actually been killing her. It would make her feel so betrayed that it would make it easier for her to justify killing yandere-chan.
Heather Harp Maybe with Yandere chan hanging around people, she can learn how to act around other people! She does say she can't feel, which means she may come off as weird to others. But if she can simulate a personality, she can talk to other characters and possibly open up non lethal ways of elimination. Certain personalities get better results. And if you help out a lot of people and learn lots of personalities, you may gain attention of certain characters/rivals.
The first time I watched yandere sim it was when kokona was the first rival, so when kizana appeared I always thought they were the same except just different styles 😂
if you do make Kokona as a dlc rival, i think you shouldn’t make her the rival. make yandere-chan the rival. kokona gets stuck in the week where yandere chan is against kizana, but in this loop, yandere confuses the two and is gunning for kokona instead. the week is normal except you have to dodge yandere-chan trying to murder you, playing as kokona.
It's really such a shame that Kokona isn't a 'rival' anymore. If you really think about it, Kokona should be a rival, but easier than Osana, kinda like the 1st rival is 1980s mode. Since there's so much story around her, it sorta makes sense..?

That happens to ANY profession. Weathermen talk about weather systems like they're sentient, boaters often name their boats and talk about them respectfully, authors often say that their books/comics have a "life of their own."
It shows that even though he originally made Kokona as nothing more than a guinea pig to murder repeatedly,he still grew an attachment to her as we have from having her included for so long.
Wait, what about long gloves and roses in the hair for the drama club? Not all of them should have just purple hair, and drills. It would be a bit confusing still, and roses in different parts of the hair would be a bit more clever and easier to figure out which member is which. Kokona would have none, and just light purple gloves, the second older member would have darker purple gloves, and a rose, and Kizana would have her two roses or more, and elegant purple gloves. For the boys, one rose or more on his suit for the oldest, and so on. You could tell which is the oldest, and the youngest. For the task, it could just be to get some props and put them in parts of the drama club, or giving Kizana new hairstyle ideas by using a computer, searching a hairstyle up, printing it out, and giving it to Kizana. (I have no clue what the task would be, lol.)
I like this a lot better than just drills, it actually gives the male members of the club something to identify them by, the just the hair colour dictates the club can get very confusing very fast, specially if we were to have randomly generated students or apply it to all other clubs. Something physical that they could realistically add to their outfits seems a lot better.
SCD Drawings I also think that the drama club members should have gloves or purple hair but there are most likely going to be some male drama club members so you know how the art club has a hat they wear and the same for the martial arts club? 1. Being a drama student myself (and knowing almost nothing about game designing but a ton about character design), if you want to make the drama club members look unique, than maybe add props to them instead of a certain hair color/style. Maybe a large pair of headphones and/or microphone on the side of their face. Maybe even a small tote back with a script? Drama students tend to look artsy and creative anyway so if they all had the same hair color/style, it really wouldn't fit the personality type. 2. I personally enjoy the idea of Kizana's task being to change Kokona's hairstyle but it makes even more sense to have her hairstyle change everyday. With her being unoriginal and conceded, it makes complete sense that she is never the same. Intertwining these two ideas sounds brilliant (not trying to flatter anyone, just sharing my opinion). Just a thought, why not make her bust size a bit smaller than Kokana's? Than not only is she upset about Kokana's hairstyle but she will always feel lesser to her so that could give her a reason to be accused of murder if the player decides to murder only Kokona?? Again, just a thought. 3. I really like the idea of Kokana staying in the game. She doesn't have to be a rival per say, but making her a random backround character just gives me (and sure a lot of fans) a weird feeling in my stomach. 4. If Kizana were to get a new hairstyle, I would think it would be something elegant or complex. The drawing in this video at 9:45 seems appropriate. If someone in my school showed up like that, I'd immediately think they had some one else do it, it took hours and that that person was most likely of high standards, if not directly royal. 5. The idea of an extra day as a tutorial sounds very smart. Making Kokana the person to start this is even better. However, there are so many great ways to kill and despose of people so would it make sense to each step of the tutorial to be chosen by the player so they don't go into the game blind? Like the player can choose to stab or burn or choke 'Kokona' and then can choose how to despose of the 'body' so they know how? Just an idea. 6. Making Kokana a DLC rival and being stuck in a time loop sounds great, but, it has been done 100s of times that some people may confuse this for being stolen from some movie, tv show, or book. It is very fun and creative. I myself am not able to play it right now as I only have a Chromebook but I do enjoy taking notes and making unnecessary charts (OCD at it's finest) of the characters and details kills, bugs, and fun glitches. Unfortunatly, he knew nothing of the wonders of the game and fooled around the entire episode.Then I found Jay from the Kubz Scouts and I still enjoy his gameplays/ myth episodes of Yandere Simulator. IDK if he thinks ALL drama students are snobby. If he followed stereotypes, all the teenagers would be a bit different. I mean c'mon, if you've ever been anywhere close to a drama club, chances of running into a snobby princess are pretty high.
Just because he adds characters like that doesn't mean he thinks of drama club members like that, plus he only said the leader was like that, I don't recall him saying all of the members are like that and even if he did I don't think he dislikes drama students or thinks of drama students like that.
I liked the tutorial idea and, in fact, I consider it the perfect role for Kokona given her part during the game’s development. But I don’t think that I’m really a fan of the multiple drills hierarchy stuff. Doesn’t seems as the most practical way of differentiating them
I completely agree about the hierarchy part since from what he said he wants the rival to change Kokona's hair, making it weird if everyone else had her hair in the group. Maybe an option could be that Yandare could convince Kokona to make the hairstyle mandatory and make it a hierarchy thing.
Okay, so I have four things to say 1.) The tutorial idea with Kokona is great! 2.) With the option at 9:00, I think that's a good idea, and it would be cool if you could have two option for that route: talk to her and convince her to change her hair style OR put gum in her drills sot she has to cut it. The gum option would get Kokona ridiculed for how terrible her hair looked (Kizana would most likely start this ridicule) and she may become a laughing stalk, this also has the downfall of being caught in the act, and getting in trouble. The talking option is safer, but you loose an chance to hurt Kokona's image. 3.) A lot of people in the comment section are saying to just make Kokona and Kizana sisters. I think making them sisters would require to much time spent on interaction to show that they are indeed sisters, and therefore, wouldn’t be the best coarse of actions. 4.) I don't think that the drama club should all had similar hairstyles and/or color. It takes away the uniqueness of each character. Here's what you could do. -Cooking: member would wear apron -Drama: members have a pin of Drama Club crest on their uniform -Occult: members carry around a distinguished book about Occult rituals, like the one that Oka Ruto was holding in “Yandere Simulator Rival Introduction Video” (1:03) -Art: members would wear a painter’s smock (this would also mean that nothing would happen to their reputation if they got drenched in blood) -Light Music: members are either wearing headphones around their neck or just using headphones in the way you described in "Let's Examine Persona - Part 2" (3:52-5:40) -Martial Arts: members wear a headband -Photography: members wear camera around neck -Science: members wear lab coats, maybe with equipment in them such as a screwdriver (maybe a key is in the club leader’s coat that opens a chest and/or cabinet where there expensive equipment is kept, such as the cleaning robot) -Sports: members would wear goggles -Gardening: female members wear a flower in their hair while male members carry a trowel in the back pocket of their pants OR male members wear a flower in the front pocket of the upper half of their uniform (personally like the first male option as opposed to the second) -Gaming: members would carry around a handheld console -Info: “The info club… well, we don't talk about the info club.” -Yandere Dev in “Club Benefits in Yandere Simulator “ (7:36) -Student Council: members wear a badge
How do subtitles work on UA-cam, does the youtuber have to the one to get each word right, or is it just some automatic program on UA-cam which the computer makes it's best guess on what each word means?
In the game, you should be able to become friends with Yui Rio (the evil girl) or another student with an evil personality. That way, you can have them do tasks for you, such as spy on people and gain information, poison people's food, or steal things. It would allow you to do multiple things at once, plus I think it would be nice for Yandere Chan to have a friend. She could even invite her over on the weekend.

Yandere-Chan wouldn't really care about her, but would be friendly with her in order to get her to do things for her. (Kind of like what she does with Kokona when she helps her father get out of debt)

Maybe the theatre club could wear capes and crowns to stick out in school, reciting their scenes random places. Kokona and Kizuna could be sisters, their father an alcoholic after divorcing their mother, a succesful woman. Kizuna lives with their mother, Kokona with their father.
Yeah and kokona can get bulied by kizana because she still loves her dad so kizana hates her and then yandere chan takes advantage of this and kills kizana and frames kokona
I like the idea of calling them cousins instead, so their relationship is distant and believable. Twins are a too common trope/gimmick (IMOO). Sisters might be ok but it would be weird to keep them the same age/grade. Mom can't birth two separate children at the same time
Couldn't they be.. sisters. One that's pompous and the princess of the family, and the other one the dismayed one that is badly treated. This could even play with the idea that the princess of the family stole the little sister's hairstyle. Maybe shes jealous of them double d's. Furthermore, this visual trait idea would tie into the story as well, since the little sister could be an excellent actor secretly in the drama club. Would create an amazing arc where you learn that the drama head is really mean to another character, learn that its her sister and learn about their relationships and history as you figure out a way to kill her. Then perhaps you overhear or learn info about her real reason for being a bully, e.g. jealousy or insecurity to the point where you really hate this character as much as yandere does. I would love for the story to include a plotline that doesn't mean you're needlessly and randomly killing characters that like senpai because yandere doesn't like them, but a story that shows these peoples flaws and writes them so that the player itself gradually hates the character enough to kill them as well.
Elimination method idea for Kizana: Ayano goes backstage & replaces the fake collapsible knife with a real knife right before Kizana does the final scene of Romeo & Juliet. She stabs herself & Ayano have plenty of time to get away because nobody will even realize that she's actually dead until they close the curtains & she doesn't get up Some people might disagree and say stuff like "she would be screaming cause she'd feel pain" or "the blood is real and audience might notice". But that's probably the reason why she'd be the leader, cause she's good at acting and making acts look real, so the audience would not know. Also, I'm pretty sure that no one would stab themselves without crying or some sort, so the audience again would think she's acting realistically. Maybe she originally was going to stab her neck, which causes her not to scream cause she won't be able to get any noise out.
+Rokokoi I was trying to signify that Ayano wouldn't be in the play. In Rome and Juliet, Juliet commits suicide at the end of the play. Kizana said that she was going to be Juliet. So at the end of the play, Kizana would pretend to commit suicide, Ayano wouldn't be there stabbing her. Usually in acts, people use fake knives that goes inside itself when it touches something, so that it looks like the person stabbed themselves. So Yan-Chan would change this fake knife on backstage secretly to real knife, which results in Kizana actually stabbing herself. Of course after the play has ended, people backstage would notice that Kizana is dead, but her death would be a mystery - if Yan-Chan wore gloves of course.
I actually like the idea Yandere Dev has here. Kokona would be responsible for putting murder in Yandere-chan's mind and learning how to play the game through helping her with rehearsal for a play, which that is a really cool idea for a tutorial.
Ellen Woods And Throughout the game maybe she could find out who the killer is, but is too afraid to tell. So you can see her at all the deaths feeling she is responsible for her classmates ultimate Demise. And then at the end she might commit suicide because she can't take the guilt knowing she caused this. Or she tries to tell the police and you have to stop her, but having to stop her might be too much of a big role for her.

I kind of wish her befriend/betray elimination stayed in the game. I know there is one for our first rival, Osana, but it would be interesting to do a pretty big task for a background character. It's kind of like what you can do to Horuda when she gets bullied.

Wait, what about long gloves and roses in the hair for the drama club? Not all of them should have just purple hair, and drills. It would be a bit confusing still, and roses in different parts of the hair would be a bit more clever and easier to figure out which member is which.
Kokona would have none, and just light purple gloves, the second older member would have darker purple gloves, and a rose, and Kizana would have her two roses or more, and elegant purple gloves. For the boys, one rose or more on his suit for the oldest, and so on. You could tell which is the oldest, and the youngest.
For the task, it could just be to get some props and put them in parts of the drama club, or giving Kizana new hairstyle ideas by using a computer, searching a hairstyle up, printing it out, and giving it to Kizana. (I have no clue what the task would be, lol.)

I like this a lot better than just drills, it actually gives the male members of the club something to identify them by, the just the hair colour dictates the club can get very confusing very fast, specially if we were to have randomly generated students or apply it to all other clubs. Something physical that they could realistically add to their outfits seems a lot better.

I say give Kizana a new hairstyle, and let Kokona keep her hair. Kizana's hair should be elegant and fancy, and she should stand out more than Kokona.
1. Being a drama student myself (and knowing almost nothing about game designing but a ton about character design), if you want to make the drama club members look unique, than maybe add props to them instead of a certain hair color/style. Maybe a large pair of headphones and/or microphone on the side of their face. Maybe even a small tote back with a script? Drama students tend to look artsy and creative anyway so if they all had the same hair color/style, it really wouldn't fit the personality type.
2. I personally enjoy the idea of Kizana's task being to change Kokona's hairstyle but it makes even more sense to have her hairstyle change everyday. With her being unoriginal and conceded, it makes complete sense that she is never the same. Intertwining these two ideas sounds brilliant (not trying to flatter anyone, just sharing my opinion).
Just a thought, why not make her bust size a bit smaller than Kokana's? Than not only is she upset about Kokana's hairstyle but she will always feel lesser to her so that could give her a reason to be accused of murder if the player decides to murder only Kokona?? Again, just a thought.
3. I really like the idea of Kokana staying in the game. She doesn't have to be a rival per say, but making her a random backround character just gives me (and sure a lot of fans) a weird feeling in my stomach.
4. If Kizana were to get a new hairstyle, I would think it would be something elegant or complex. The drawing in this video at 9:45 seems appropriate. If someone in my school showed up like that, I'd immediately think they had some one else do it, it took hours and that that person was most likely of high standards, if not directly royal.
5. The idea of an extra day as a tutorial sounds very smart. Making Kokana the person to start this is even better. However, there are so many great ways to kill and despose of people so would it make sense to each step of the tutorial to be chosen by the player so they don't go into the game blind? Like the player can choose to stab or burn or choke 'Kokona' and then can choose how to despose of the 'body' so they know how? Just an idea.
6. Making Kokana a DLC rival and being stuck in a time loop sounds great, but, it has been done 100s of times that some people may confuse this for being stolen from some movie, tv show, or book. Not a happy ending for anyone...

Thank you very much for making this game. It is very fun and creative. I myself am not able to play it right now as I only have a Chromebook but I do enjoy taking notes and making unnecessary charts (OCD at it's finest) of the characters and details kills, bugs, and fun glitches. I found this game through a letsplay from one of my favorite youtubers. Unfortunatly, he knew nothing of the wonders of the game and fooled around the entire episode.Then I found Jay from the Kubz Scouts and I still enjoy his gameplays/ myth episodes of Yandere Simulator.
Please don't stop the development anytime soon and please continue to be the great and creative guy you are! If you've read this comment all the way down here, congrats and thank you very much. I know comments on youtube don't get seen unless many people like them and I doubt this one will, but if Yandere Dev, you are reading this, please don't take any suggestions above out of context. I only mean to put in my ideas as a devoted fangirl and completely understand and accept that you have the final word. Even assuming my ideas jumped around in your head for a second is fantastic to think about.

I completely agree about the hierarchy part since from what he said he wants the rival to change Kokona's hair, making it weird if everyone else had her hair in the group. Maybe an option could be that Yandare could convince Kokona to make the hairstyle mandatory and make it a hierarchy thing.

Okay, so I have four things to say
1.) The tutorial idea with Kokona is great!
2.) With the option at 9:00, I think that's a good idea, and it would be cool if you could have two option for that route: talk to her and convince her to change her hair style OR put gum in her drills sot she has to cut it. The gum option would get Kokona ridiculed for how terrible her hair looked (Kizana would most likely start this ridicule) and she may become a laughing stalk, this also has the downfall of being caught in the act, and getting in trouble. The talking option is safer, but you loose an chance to hurt Kokona's image.
3.) A lot of people in the comment section are saying to just make Kokona and Kizana sisters. I think making them sisters would require to much time spent on interaction to show that they are indeed sisters, and therefore, wouldn’t be the best coarse of actions.
4.) I don't think that the drama club should all had similar hairstyles and/or color. It takes away the uniqueness of each character. Here's what you could do.
-Cooking: member would wear apron
-Drama: members have a pin of Drama Club crest on their uniform
-Occult: members carry around a distinguished book about Occult rituals, like the one that Oka Ruto was holding in “Yandere Simulator Rival Introduction Video” (1:03)
-Art: members would wear a painter’s smock (this would also mean that nothing would happen to their reputation if they got drenched in blood)
-Light Music: members are either wearing headphones around their neck or just using headphones in the way you described in "Let's Examine Persona - Part 2" (3:52-5:40)
-Martial Arts: members wear a headband
-Photography: members wear camera around neck
-Science: members wear lab coats, maybe with equipment in them such as a screwdriver (maybe a key is in the club leader’s coat that opens a chest and/or cabinet where there expensive equipment is kept, such as the cleaning robot)
-Sports: members would wear goggles
-Gardening: female members wear a flower in their hair while male members carry a trowel in the back pocket of their pants OR male members wear a flower in the front pocket of the upper half of their uniform (personally like the first male option as opposed to the second)
-Gaming: members would carry around a handheld console
-Info: “The info club… well, we don't talk about the info club.” -Yandere Dev in “Club Benefits in Yandere Simulator “ (7:36)
-Student Council: members wear a badge

In the game, you should be able to become friends with Yui Rio (the evil girl) or another student with an evil personality. That way, you can have them do tasks for you, such as spy on people and gain information, poison people's food, or steal things. It would allow you to do multiple things at once, plus I think it would be nice for Yandere Chan to have a friend. She could even invite her over on the weekend.

I like the idea of calling them cousins instead, so their relationship is distant and believable. Twins are a too common trope/gimmick (IMOO). Sisters might be ok but it would be weird to keep them the same age/grade. Mom can't birth two separate children at the same time
I do like the idea od Kizana changing her hair, and Kokona being used as an optional tutorial. If this game ever comes out I hope those are features
Couldn't they be.. sisters. One that's pompous and the princess of the family, and the other one the dismayed one that is badly treated. This could even play with the idea that the princess of the family stole the little sister's hairstyle. Maybe shes jealous of them double d's. Furthermore, this visual trait idea would tie into the story as well, since the little sister could be an excellent actor secretly in the drama club.
Would create an amazing arc where you learn that the drama head is really mean to another character, learn that its her sister and learn about their relationships and history as you figure out a way to kill her. Then perhaps you overhear or learn info about her real reason for being a bully, e.g. jealousy or insecurity to the point where you really hate this character as much as yandere does.
I would love for the story to include a plotline that doesn't mean you're needlessly and randomly killing characters that like senpai because yandere doesn't like them, but a story that shows these peoples flaws and writes them so that the player itself gradually hates the character enough to kill them as well.

Elimination method idea for Kizana:
Ayano goes backstage & replaces the fake collapsible knife with a real knife right before Kizana does the final scene of Romeo & Juliet. She stabs herself & Ayano have plenty of time to get away because nobody will even realize that she's actually dead until they close the curtains & she doesn't get up
Some people might disagree and say stuff like "she would be screaming cause she'd feel pain" or "the blood is real and audience might notice". But that's probably the reason why she'd be the leader, cause she's good at acting and making acts look real, so the audience would not know. Also, I'm pretty sure that no one would stab themselves without crying or some sort, so the audience again would think she's acting realistically.
Maybe she originally was going to stab her neck, which causes her not to scream cause she won't be able to get any noise out.

I was trying to signify that Ayano wouldn't be in the play. In Rome and Juliet, Juliet commits suicide at the end of the play. Kizana said that she was going to be Juliet. So at the end of the play, Kizana would pretend to commit suicide, Ayano wouldn't be there stabbing her. Usually in acts, people use fake knives that goes inside itself when it touches something, so that it looks like the person stabbed themselves. So Yan-Chan would change this fake knife on backstage secretly to real knife, which results in Kizana actually stabbing herself.
Of course after the play has ended, people backstage would notice that Kizana is dead, but her death would be a mystery - if Yan-Chan wore gloves of course.
I actually like the idea Yandere Dev has here. Kokona would be responsible for putting murder in Yandere-chan's mind and learning how to play the game through helping her with rehearsal for a play, which that is a really cool idea for a tutorial.

Ellen Woods And Throughout the game maybe she could find out who the killer is, but is too afraid to tell. So you can see her at all the deaths feeling she is responsible for her classmates ultimate Demise. And then at the end she might commit suicide because she can't take the guilt knowing she caused this. Or she tries to tell the police and you have to stop her, but having to stop her might be too much of a big role for her.
