Hello look so easy to do. My question is how do you keep the body butter soft and not hard. As I made some and put it it the tub when soft but now it went hard, Any tips you can give me that would be great
Hi thank you for this lovely recipe! I have made the lotion today but after i put it in the tub it has gone hard. I used the same measurements as you but i changed the oil to sweet alond oil. Id be so grateful if yoh have any advice on how i can stop it turn solid xx
Thanks Marta I’ll give this a try. I’ve been making whipped body butter with the following equal parts, avocado oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter and Shea butter, very moisturising. 😊

I used 8gms of Shea butter, 7 gms of mango Butter, 15gms of sweet almond oil. But after freezing and whipping, it turned to liquid consistency. Cream didn't appear. Can you suggest any repair?

It's still very greasy even with the cornstarch 😢😢😢😢 I did 85g or butter and 85g Sweet Almond....3tsp cornstarch....its not fluffing 😢😢😢

Is it ok to use moringa oil in my shea mixture
I tried making this! I have made your deos too and I absolutely love them! However is there anything to reduce the smell of Shea butter? I tried using rose essential oil, but the smell of Shea butter is just too overpowering..
I suggest using refined shea butter or mango butter :)

why it is named Lotion? isnt lotion watter based with an emulsified phase ?? is like body Butter oil based only

its a little oily for summer, if you have oily skin it would bother you. maybe its better for rough skin areas or night.
it deppends in how hot is summer where you live.
I am using it now when it's not cold anymore and am really enjoying it!

I made mine with 40gram shea and mango butter and 20gram avocado oil. It didn't become so fluffy as yours. Is it possible to warm it up again and add 20 gram more oil so I would become the same amount of oils and butters and then put it back in the freezer for 15min and mixed it again. Would that be a solution?
Try adding more oil! and also whip for a good while :) Like at least 10 mins.

You should have followed the recipe.. she said equal parts! Go forth with whatever it is you created and don't bother her!

Hi Marta! Could jojoba oil replace hemp seed oil in this recipe? I'm reading that jojoba oil comedogenic rating it's a 2! I'm asking cause I'd like to prepare the lotion with the oils I already have at home instead of buying a new one!
