  • This is by far the least thought out video I've uploaded to date, because anxiety just make it so difficult to think and focus and actually do stuff so much of the time. I wanted to make the best of the situation though, and I think I've at least managed to do that. Hopefully this might help someone out a little, and if anyone has any tips for me I'd love to hear them in the comments!

I find the traveling really fun. I love watching all the stuff move by, and feeling whatever the vehicle is vibrate/shake

I enjoy it for a few minutes, and then I just want to be THERE already 😂 Boats are the only method of transport I actually somewhat enjoy!

For me I always find it so easy to get stuck in my head and forget that other people go through the same kinds of anxiety. Thank you so much for sharing, makes me feel better and that it's always worth pushing through those tough moments.

it’s one of the best feelings ever to push through something you’re scared of and for it to end up a really positive experience! Even if that anxiety seems silly to other people/neurotypicals. You should be proud :)
(also hello from a quiet viewer, you said you like comments so wanted you to know that I really relate to and enjoy your videos)

It really is! I find it so tough to be proud of myself and my achievements, but I’m trying with this one!
Thanks so much for commenting, I’m so glad you relate and enjoy what I’m doing! I figured since I was struggling to find people I could relate to, I’d force you all to find me instead 😈😂

haha, that sounds like a good tactic, I guess it’s working!
I remember seeing something once that stuck with me, that bravery isn’t about being fearless, but about doing the thing despite the fear being there. The more difficult something is for us personally, the more of an achievement it is to conquer it :) I try to remind myself of that whenever I have a little victory that seems mundane to other people (like overcoming some basic executive dysfunction or pushing myself socially)

Traveling is a special interest for me. I like planning trips and I do extensive research and make contingency plans for all nature of mishaps along the way. I must have everything scheduled out .... every minute accounted for. I really like Google Maps with street view. It allows me to "visit" the place before I go.

I use the sleep flare audios. Not for sleeping but day to day. Much better and blocks more of the background (slightly)

We're sooo so alike! It's so refreshing 🙂 But I am sorry it means you also deal with all the anxiety and bs that comes with being autistic 🙈

One of the worst public transport smells for me is when it's raining and you're standing crowded in a bus/metro and there are smokers around (the rain enhances the smoky smell in their clothes). 🤢

There’s that very chemical smell that comes from certain types of asphalt (like the ones train stations use) that really gets to me. I don’t really notice the smell of smoke since I smoke myself, but I also douse myself in mild deodorant and perfume to make sure I don’t smell like that myself 😅 It’s a horrible habit though, the sooner I quit and don’t have to think about it the better!

@@DanaAndersen Oh, sorry to hear that! As a non-smoker, just to let you know we can still tell. 😉 I know what you mean about wet asphalt though, streets and sidewalks all have a very particular smell. I also find train stations smell like engine grease.
