I was diagnosed as ADHD and Autistic this year at 32 and I just wanted to let you know your channel has been one that is helping me process, understand, and feel understood. Thank you!
I love vlogs that show the process of getting dressed. Choosing an outfit and making breakfast, and cooking for the family. Really enjoyed hearing you chat while varnishing the earrings, and they turned out beautifully!
Love the vlogs. It feels like spending time with a friend and being around someone like me! You could even set up a tripod with the camera while you do stuff so it’s easier for you? Then do a voice over? It’s helpful to see how you balance your energy and do things and it feels like permission to take it slow or enjoy my special interests by watching you :D
Love the music at the end of this day in the life. Very relaxing. I also appreciate seeing you and hearing you explain the intentional pauses to reset your brain and body mid-day between more ramped up happenings. Big big help to see this modeled. Thank you!!
Yes! Clothes shape how I feel for the day, I have to be comfortable and if there are cute animals involved all the better. ❤ Love your otter cozy home coat.
I loved this video! I'd love more 'lifestyle' content like this about anything you like. I loved the Best Cosy Games video! You could make similar videos but on the topics of Legos (Favourite Sets, Lego Wishlist), Games again, TV, Fashion (Finding your style as a recently-out nonbinary person), Parenting (Top parenting tips that work for you, top activities to do with a family/with tweens and teens), Cooking (Go-to ADHD friendly recipes, What we love to eat as a family), Coco training updates, Q&As/themed Q&As, more vlogs (day in the life). I also like the video you made where you partnered with a small charity! I think I'd watch anything you make. And please remind us again and again how we can support your channel 😊
Loved this! Like others have said, I’d love to see lifestyle content/vlogs, maybe what your current special interests are, art/crafting inspo, and just other normal life stuff :)
You should add links to purchase everything you mentioned! The matcha you mentioned sounds good! And what are the loops you mentioned, sounds like something my daughter could use. 👍🏼... Love your content!!!
This was great Ella, thank you for sharing! I must say I really like your accent. What I'd like to see is maybe some more of your soothing self-care activities in practice, like the matcha ritual and the weighted blanket you used here.
Yes!! When i find a new fantastical outfit that is comfortable, I feel like all new and sparkly! Also, love the day blog! Sounds basic to most I’m sure, but to me to learn what regulating is and see how you do so I think will help me a lot too. Thank you💜💕
I LOVED your outfit. I actually paused the video, exclaimed in excitement, and then showed your outfit to my partner... picking (and making) my clothes always makes me happy and helps with sensory stuff but I also love seeing how other people put colors and pieces together. 😊
McDonald's is my safe food too. Thank you for sharing that. I've always wished something healthy & nutritious was that comfort zone, but it's chicken mcnuggets with sweet & sour for this person 💜
My safe food is instant noodles although I wish it was something super healthy they all have weird textures so it’s never going to happen …bulk buy noodles from Amazon it is !
Really enjoyed your vlog Ella, thank you. Camomile reacts with some medications so I have lemon balm instead and I have been having a cup in the evening for years. It’s also really helpful for anxiety!
McDs has also been my safe food since childhood. I even worked there from 2020-2024 so I got free Mcds almost every week day. It's consistent, cheap, and most locations have them from smaller towns to international travel. I always feel a level of guilt, but Im trying to remind myself if they had reliable, affordable acai bowls, I'd probably pick that. Same thing if it comes to down to a McChicken or having a meltdown and rendering myself unable to drive home safely, I gotta take the McChicken as being the morally acceptable option. Idk I have a lot of shame around it so I appreciated hearing someone else chime in. It's my go to when Im not at the house, I could eat it everyday. Same with applesauce 😂
Watching this has made me feel so calm after a horrible day ( had to have a tooth out, got in a password mess with my new phone and had to shut my poor husband out of the room to stop a full on meltdown 😢). I love Bird and Blend too , pumpkin spice now , but Eaton Mess as well and Welsh Cwtch and Apple Strudel ..yum ! My safe food is instant noodles I have decided safe foods don’t have to be super healthy when we are trying to deal with so much else. Do you think we could have a day in the life of Coco…I love her little appearances on Instagram, also maybe your favourite recipes or foods I am always nosey about other peoples favourite things to eat as I always get told mine are weird !
Ella, please make a video on your experiences being pregnant and having children? I really want a baby but I am so worried my 'big emotions' won't be able to cope with it all & my partner doesn't have any emotional maturity so I think I would feel so alone. Would love to hear your unique experience as I am sure we experience that different to neurotypicals! ❤❤
Is your dog trained by you if so which training provider did you use if you don’t mind me asking 😊? I have a Labrador who’s a therapy dog but thinking about going down the assistance training route for anxiety mostly
Among the many neurodivergent parts of your life, having your kids roll their eyes and tell you that you've gone too far is quite NT! :) I'm hard pressed to come up with suggestions for what to film, and I think I blame ADHD... 8:43 Kitty!!!
I'm a bit panicked. After a year of becoming absolutely sure that my old diagnosed ADHD cannot possibly explain some of my struggles...I've reached out to my psychiatrist to get assessed for ASD. To get to her, I am forced to be seen by a psychologist first. Okay. She listened kindly but cut me off and said "I don't see autism in you. My son is on the spectrum and if you had autism you wouldn't be able to look in my eyes like you are. My son flaps (she demonstrated). I said "I did that as a child...now I...." but she was talking about how her son would line up his toys. I am 63 yrs old. I think she is expecting me, after 55 years of masking, to act like an autistic little boy. She referred to the DSM5 as their "bible" and I think she has the idea that since her son exhibits stereotypical autistic traits, then every person with ASD is the same.
Cozy game recommendation: Coral Island! You can also be nonbinary! It's a farming type of game with beautiful graphics. Yaaas Sex Education is a good and funny TV show. My friend just gave me some Assam so my tea collection is growing...my mom subscribed to a tea subscription called TeaHee and they have some cool flavors
I don’t think you’ve taken your tea special interest too far until you start growing your own tea. (guilty)😂
That still doesn’t seem too far to me! 😊

Wonder Girl was doing a great job as cameraman. Did Robo Boy film the bubble tea clip? They're great with the camera!
Yes he did, well spotted thanks I’ll pass that on. All the kids are part of team Purple Ella helping me with filming and editing.

You're awesome. Loved this vlog. Thanks for sharing it is so comforting
Also totally relatable about filming with adhd.. can't remember to do it
Love all your videos, including the vlogs. I feel like you’re always cooking/baking something interesting so a cooking video might be fun!

I have certain outfits that make me feel joyous and then I want to where them until I must eash them.

do you know of anyone who has autism and bipolar disorder?
