At the beginning of the pandemic we didn't go out for any reason, other than to the grocery store when absolutely needed. I found myself getting a bit lazy with my skincare during that time and my skin became very dull from skipping some steps. Thankfully though, it was easy to reverse in a couple of days of better adherence to my routine. 😇

I recommend trying RAW ORGANIC HONEY and use it as a mask after face washing and leave it on for 20 min or so - I found it particularly useful when you have damaged skin barrier or in process of repairing skin barrier (like myself) and find that AHA and BHA acids leave your skin red and dehydrated more than anything.

On the other days I use Aveeno Calm and Restore cleanser and Eucerin Advanced Repair Hand Cream as my moisturizer. In the evenings I use Olay Regenerist + Peptides. Let me know what you think. I have avoided using the glycolic cleanser and the urea lotion on the same day to avoid possible irritation. I'd love to hear your opinion. On the subject of alcohol, I honestly can't see how it can have any benefits at all you couldn't get from anywhere else. Like the whole 'red wine is good for..... Fill in the blank' I'm sure there could be something better. It's a taboo subject for sure but I used to drink and don't now and I honestly think it's nothing but a poison. There are some substances I wonder how can be illegal when you can freely buy copious amounts of alcohol 🤷🏼‍♀️ just my opinion.

Love Pique tea, but I need to figure out why it makes my feel nauseous. I'm 55. More than 2 glasses of wine and my sleep is interrupted the entire night (and I drink the good stuff). I feel sluggish the next day. Also, If I snack before bed (no matter the snack), slip is is interrupted. And here's something new I discovered, If I take magnesium and benefiber together I'm definitely not sleeping all night and the next day, I feel like a total waste. Not worth it. Even happens when I drink dry farm wine (keto approved- no sugar added). It doesn't give me a headache, but I also don't drink as much either. Hope this helps.

At certain point, a key gesture for aging gracefully (along with all the others we know perfectly) is looking at the mirror with more distance. We are cruel judges with ourselves scrutinizing every cm. Nobody looks us that close in daily life. Consider a procedure in the future when if it really affects your self esteem. You can try lightweight hydrating toners and serums maybe they won’t clog your pores like the moisturizers and also try using more gentle exfoliators like mandelic and lactic acid and see which one works best for your sensitive skin.

Hello Dr. Dray ! I would love for you to do a video about properly using sunscreen on the scalp and which scalp sunscreens are the best ones. My scalp got burned over the past summer from not using sunscreen on my scalp but I am not sure on how I would apply it all over my scalp or if it is even needed all over.

I just got the sun bum scalp spray and it’s the best I’ve found so far but I feel like it will make my hair greasy looking if I use enough to go to the beach or something. I’ve thought about getting a powder spf and just using it on my scalp!

Dr dray, could you please do a video on everything about sallow skin and what it is exactly? I think I'm noticing sallow skin, but not sure what it truly is. Did a little research, but didn't really find what I was looking for. My face is looking brownish in tone and is a completely different color than my neck... Is that normal? Also, I think that I may be suffering from a vitamin difficiancy, actually several and this is why this could be happening. I have eating issues and recently lost a ton of weight in 2020, gained some back, but still not at a "healthy" weight (102lbs at the moment). I would appreciate a deep dive into everything sallow skin. I think that's more than just a dull appearance, but could be wrong on that? I thought it was an actual condition as in sallow skin vs dull skin... Are they the same thing or different? I wish I knew exactly what was causing my skin to appear brownish looking. It looks a little bit yellowish as well. I also smoke cigarettes. I know it's a horrible habit, but having a hard time even cutting down, so can't imagine quitting. I want better skin. That's been a big goal that I'd like to achieve. I'm also 35 years old...if any of that information helps on making a video on sallow skin vs a dull appearance or for anyone who could provide answers to my questions in the comments. Thank you! I hope everyone has a good weekend!!
