Long time watcher here… I don’t think I’ve ever commented before, but I finally had to just to tell you that rich color looks so great on you! 😍 Really makes your skin and eyes glow!
So glad you mentioned stress, sleep and diet the changes to getting more sleep ESPECIALLY changed my skin with my everyday skincare routine :) now my skin looks much healthier
I used to think I had no wrinkles to bother about. So aside from AHA 8% I really have been sticking to cleaning and moisturizing. Most important to me is diet and exercize FIRST. No processed food and no sugar or fast carbs... help with no skin issues, absolutely. Now in my 70s I have purchased my first month of OTC retinol to help with sun spots. A month into it the intensity of the color is lighter and the boundaries of the larger spot are regressing. Not expecting to see them gone for a year or 2...with big questions about sunscreen actually eliminating sun exposure in the mountains in summer. I guess hike as early as possible and wear actual face covering, not just a large hat...and face covering eliminates the issue of a white layer from zinc oxyde, you can have both! Spending the most time possible in nature is a first priority along with strictly fresh food.
Yes, it does! If I had to guess, I'd say her Color Season is "Warm Autumn" or maybe "True Autumn". Not that I'm a color analysis expert, but you can usually tell by a person's natural coloring and what colors, when worn, bring that out instead of washing them out 😊 _Gorgeous!_
Hey Andrea. You have helped me out so much in keeping my skincare routine simple. I suffer with rosacea and have for years. I'm 41 years old and only 6 months ago I finally figured out how to keep my rosacea under control and how to figure out the right treatments for my skin condition. My doctor finally had me referred to a dermatologist so hopefully I will hear back soon. I'm currently using fineaca azelaic acid along with mirvaso. Night time I'm using rozex along with soolantra all prescribed by my doctor for now until I see the dermatologist. You have been a great help and Thankyou for taking your time and dedication in helping us viewer's get the help we need and sticking to a good skincare routine and giving us good information on what skincare's to use and avoid. And always I sunscreen and subscribed. Sending thanks and blessings to you from Northern Ireland UK 🇬🇧♥️
My dermatologist prescribed a compounded cream of 15% Azelaic Acid, 1% Ivermectin, and 1% Metronidazole. It attacks all the causes of Rosacea. Cleared it right up, and I only had to apply one cream.
I love all the tips in this video! I’m someone who struggled with horrible skin texture, specifically on the sides of my cheeks, for years! I was always trying something new to treat it, and wondering why it never worked, until I finally took your advice and went back to the basics, I discontinued use of adapalene because it was causing too much dryness, and bam, my texture went away just like that!! 😅 I’ve been focusing a lot on hydration and don’t typically use actives anymore, and I finally have clear skin, my barrier has just been damaged all these years 😂
@@lisagardner4814 Maybe that depends on the type of skin and skin texture that you have! Gentle exfoliation works better for more sensitive skin, like glycolic acid peels!
Love the color Dr. Dray. I am so happy with my routine. As I am in France, I have very inexpensive tretenoin 0.05% . At night, after a double cleanse, I put on Timeless CoQ 10 serum, then the tretenoin, then Avene lipid replenishing cream (I need the richness). In the morning I use Timeless C 20%, then Avene Retrinal Serum with bakuchiol and other goodies, then Roche Posey Double repair cream with Ceramides, etc (I need the moisturizer), then a tinted sunscreen. 2x/ week at night I only use the Ordinary Glycolic Acid followed by a skin barrier cream like Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm. It is not too difficult a regime and I get compliments on my skin now. I would not have gotten to this place without all your information. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your regime! I'm also in France. How did you get tretinoin? I'm using differin (that I bought abroad) so my skin is clear and you can't tell I have acne. Could I get a prescription for tret you think? I just book an appointment with a derm on doctolib?

Paula's Choice has some beautifully formulated moisturizers and other skin care products. Customer service is wonderful at helping to create a routine, or any other help you may need.
Exfoliating with BHA twice a week and AHA once or every two weeks totally helps my Rosacea. Maybe because of exfoliating as you said, maybe because it has a very low pH and normalizes the skin pH a bit. I have a very angry skin when coming to moistuizers so I do it max twice a week because if I do it every day it is aggrevating my Rosacea. I can use water with glycerin and Panthenol as a toner couple of times a week, no more. Sometimes when I didn't use sunscreen I just wash with water or not at all. That also helps maintaining my microbiom and natural skin lipids.
Appreciate you talking about this. I have some textured skin under my eyes. My guess is that it's from sun damage from not using sunscreen as a teen. It doesn't bother me too much. Of course I'd like to have my youthful skin back but I'm also a realist. I keep my skin care simple and well moisturized. Thanks, as always, Dr Dray! Happy Thursday. I hope you have a blessed evening. 💖

I got a laser treatment from a dermatologist and he overdid it and burned me significantly. I had to have many additional laser treatments to correct. I now have pitted looking skin and redness persists. There doesn’t seem to be any options left for me as I have even consulted with two plastic surgeons.
That is so scary! And that even happened with a board certified dermatologist? Gosh I hope he/she paid for those subsequent treatments you needed
@@DELLRS2012yes, he was board certified. He found a specialist to treat me and she agreed to treat me pro bono because she felt so sorry for me. But I will never be 100%. I rarely leave the house.
Sorry to hear this . I once had a bad chemical peel that burned my skin. I literally looked like I had a sunburn from being at the beach all day . I did a lot to restore my skin barrier and wore spf MINERAL . 3 years later my skin recovered . Must protect your skin with spf min 3 times a day especially before steeping out in the sun . Apply 15 min priors . Wear your hat as well , never got back in a sauna to avoid induced heat and just be patient. I hope you heal ❤
What are your thoughts on the makeup like il makiage serum to tighten under eye bags? How would you treat under eye bags?
Thank you!
Hello Dr. Dray. Happy Thursday ❤
Morning!
Your skin looks really nice
I feel like every product i use doesn’t work. Have tried multiple retinols for months with no purging/difference
Hey could you talk about pro-ceramides vs. Ceramides. Im seeing pro ceramides as a marketing point for body washes and lotions but the ingredients list does not mention pro-ceramides. I wanted to know if this was a thing or is it just scammy marketing.
Dove melanine even tone body wash and lubiderm's new lotions have them.
CO2 laser treatment and glycolic acid is what helped my textured skin tremendously. But the laser is so expensive 😢
Can you do a video on fat reduction due to laser or other heat based procedures in the face? I don’t know what to believe …
Happy Thursday!
Thank You!! Happy Thursday to You Too!!😊
@@jackiemarsh2470 Have a good weekend!

Dr. Dray what are your thoughts on skinvive?

She's reviewed a few. You can do a search, dr dray derma e, to find the videos.
My acne has improved.
hi, I was just wondering if you can make a video about a teen with textured acne prone skin!? By the way I have oily skin
I have hormonal acne but I am on HRT therapy my doctor wants to put me on spironolactone. I am worried that it diminish muscle tone by blocking testosterone. Can you please tell me if this would happen?
Thanks, Dr Dray!
Dr. Dray can we please get an updated oily skin budget friendlt sunscreens?
Biore uv watery essence is the one I use in the summer its really good on oily skin it's not heavy enough in the winter I use Canmake mermaid gel in the winter cause it's heavier but both are good sunscreens and non greasy.
@@CutePiggy-o8d Thank you for the recommendations, I’ll check it out, I had not heard of the second brand you mentioned, I’ll look it up.

Any suggestions for face and neck firming?
I have texture on my neck, and partially, on my chest. I don't like it
Good morning Dr Dray ❤
Morning!
Dr Dray is reading my mind everytime I open the tab😂
I’m going for a fractional co2 resurfacing laser to resolve this issue
All skin is textured ❤
I have these little spots on my skin that have been there for years and aren’t going away with acids or retinol. They’re not milia. Idk what they are
