mngentry I know it's a ridiculous scene that should make you laugh but when you look at it with a deeper look after seeing the movie in it's entirety that's when it hits you not only the line I mentioned earlier but also when he says " I won't let you go" the emotional part is him realizing that his kid is what gives his life the light in the middle of darkness him understanding almost too late cause he did the stupidest thing ever by illegally entering the airport and hijacking some stairs but at that moment all he could think of was stopping his own flesh and blood from leaving him forever.
@Kamran Bashir The plane wasn't going down the runway, it was just wheeling itself towards the runway and when the Captain said "ready for takeoff", that meant coming close to the runway for takeoff. Especially if you quickly see at 2:57 that the plane was moving very slowly which showed that it wasn't on the runway for takeoff. If it was on the runway, the plane would have taken off before he even saw Max.

However, it seems like after this scene Jerry and Audrey broke up because when Max asked if they really have to move to Boston Jerry said "no" but, Jerry himself said that he has too since he has his job offer.
My Favorite part was Fecher driving under the airplane wing saying oh SHIT!! singing Dadadadadadadadaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! and once they stopped the plan!! he was like yyyyyyyeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! stop look.. nnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! flaying off in circle!! hahahahahahahahaha LOL!!!!!!!! best funnest part the movie!!
