It's interesting that the album was called ' Walking into Clarksdale', a reference to the blues but when they were being interviewed about it they mentioned various music influences but not the blues.
bkrbyex4339 Eddie has his voice and tonal quality... but overall Pearl Jam is the one made of lead- heavy lead that goes down and does not fly or groove. Compared to PJ Zepp certainly swings (regardless of their seperate genres). Pearl jam should have been Lead Jam.
Dont care to hear what Heart has to say. Heard them being disrespectful about a concert and they left early, sorry but it changed my opinion of the female duo.
Heart has never been disrespectful to led zeppelin?? If you mean when they were teens who left early because of the lemon song?? They were just kids who didn't understand what was going on then. I've heard them talk and laugh about that. They do zeppelin covers at all their concerts. And they do them better than anyone. Do you wonder why they picked to sing Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center recognition?? I love both bands. Zeppelin is the best rock band ever. Heart is up there with the best as well 💓 💕!
They left because they felt out of their depth. They felt it was too raunchy and explicit for their age. It was the Lemon Song that triggered that reaction. They were quite young teens at the time. However in the same interview they said it was different later on when they were older. They are big fans of Led Zeppelin and some of their own songs were influenced by Led Zeppelin.
