Watching this great interview for the first time, right now. I could listen to JP talk all day. You can tell Wolf is a huge fan, as he should be. Love the Zep!
Yes yes yes A billion and one people would absolutley freak to see Led Zepplin back together again and with new drummer Bonhams son playing the drums cant get any closer to that .John would be so honored to hear his son playing in his steps for Led Zepplin ! Please do this as a thank you to all your fans we love you guys yous were and still are the GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD .Dont let Lepplin die theres still a fire for yous . Rock on LZ lovers and pray they will come to there senses ! We Gotta Groove We Gotta Grove oh hu We Gotta Grove 💕
in 2003 i was 2 although i love there songs and first band ive ever heard and first song ive ever heard i rock and roll all my dad said when he would put zeppelin on i would be happily be jumping all around the house smiling and laughter of joy :)
They filmed the entire Seattle Kingdome 7-17-77 show !!! Entire show on UA-cam... completely filmed by Zeppelin because McCartney's show the year before at same place (released as "Rockshow") was so well done. Jimmy needs to clean it up and release it. (and I had elbows over the wall !)
@Coogan hater? Ha. Get a new word!, LZ is (was) awesome at one time but not here. Surely you’ve heard their earlier performances where Jimmy was not under a heroin cloud; just listen to him!, and Robert Plant’s voice was not damaged from his nodule miss-hap. Like HTWWW or SRTS
No wonder I was never the same after viewing that taped footage at RAH no less than one thousand times within a 2 to 3 year time span. Jimmy put some kind of magical spell on it using the dark arts, since life, in and of itself is dark, here on Planet Hell. It hypnotized me, to the point of no return, literally! Most say I went crazy as in having caught a mental illness, when actually, it was just my mind opening up , like the sky .
Jimmy - "We didn't put out singles" Well I remember a few on the jukebox. I remember that I and a few kids that I went to school hanging at a corner burger joint and jamming to WLL in it's entirety then there was the LLM and HHWCID single.
They didn't create songs as singles or aim to put out singles but a few of their album songs were later released as such, under pressure from the record company.
@coogan8825.its amazing that they avoided all the TV/media, singles and cheesy stuff but yet still became one of the greatest bands the world has ever known - if not THE greatest (as far as I'm concerned). No other band did it all the truly genuine way like they did by allowing only their music to do all the talking, rather than plastering their faces upon every avenue of entertainment like some other bands we all know very well...
Why do they say four concerts when it was at least five?! What about the Denmark show from 1969?! That was and is completely legit! Perhaps their best?! Mere less bonus features of some live performances from here and there as well. I'm so confused.
Yes, it's true. Noticed that too. Too bad that other people get all offended because you were just making an (gasp!) observation that "they" perceive as negative, when in reality it's "just" an observation. Like two people watching an interview together and commenting on it.
They all have been quoted to say if it were anyone of them then they would call the band off but personally I think it was the wrong call .They should get back together in 2020 and have Bonhams son Jason play the drums .I believe Bonham would be very proud 👍
@@rickilynnwolfe8357 if its not all 4 of them it's not Zeppelin. Jason filling in for his dad at the reunion was great as a one time thing but it's just not the same without bonzo.
Well, they did put out a few singles from time to time, just look up Discogs.com there was many of them usually released in different countries but we can let it go in the context of this interview.
Zep didn't release them though. The record company and radio stations from many different countries had cut the singles against the band's wishes. That's why you see them all on Discogs. There are tons of them.
Instead of asking him the same boring questions over and over ask him something differant like what the hell does ZOSO mean hes crowley interests ect they ask the same questions these interviewers.
I don't think they could have as it was John Paul Jones who would write most of the music and do the supportive composition of the songs along with Jimmy page.
@ThreshingFloor well had they continued then it would have been a really shameful act form their part and I dont think that they would have ever got that dynamic sound without him.
@@rajnandini5968 We're not talking about the outcome.....i think they would have continued,..i really do....In one facet or another...the remaining members wouldnt have quit
He isn't the same. At this time, 2021, he's 77 and looks happy and healthy. He quit his addictions, and that changed him for sure. He became more clear and able to enjoy his life.
Horrible interview Blitzer, can’t even hear Jimmy with the band playing at the same time. Not surprising that the least trusted source in news can’t pull off a proper interview.
When he talks about the albums and how they were put together really shows that he was a master in the studio and production.
This may be the only time I have seen Wolf Blitzer excited about anything. Thank you, Jimmy. :)
JIMMY IS THE MAN AND ALWAYS WILL BE !!!
Should have filmed so many more, thank God they did what they did. Who thought the bootleg recordings would end up Godsends. Jimmy Page is a Legend.
Jimmy Page is the ULTIMATE MASTER., love him and his band.
Love Jimmy, love Led Zeppelin. Forever 💖

Fantastic interview. Thanks for the post.
Blitzer is a great interviewer. He asks open ended questions and lets Jimmy do the talking.
😂😂😂😂 he's trash. I'm surprised Jimmy would waste his time.
Thank you to the uploader 😎👍
Jimmy is such a sweet, good-hearted man. I love him
Same. I love his angelic voice. For me he's the most beautiful man
Have never seen Wolfe before but he asked a lot of sensible questions and got good answers.
He’s a propagandist
Awesome video + interview of Monsieur Page 🖤
Wolf was as giddy as a school boy talking to Jimmy Page.
IF HE ONLY KNEW BACK THEN ABOUT THE 02 REUNION AND JASON JOINING THEM AND THAT 20 MILLION PEOPLE WOULD TRY TO GET TICKETS.
cool. Go on jimmy kid
Robert Plant is like school in summertime
Jim,
If you do it again it would be great, if not, you know best.
Very nice interview, thank you!
Oh: Who's this 'Bush' fellow mentioned at the very end?
Great interview. The 2 dislikes are baffling.
@Jim Page: The two thumb down were from Pete Townsend and Eric Clapton respectively!!!

Love Zeppelin. Always have, always will. Should play them at my funeral (of course!). But...which song?
I want "Since I Been Loving You" played at my funeral. SERIOUSLY. Jimmys' guitar work in that particular song is PHENOMENAL.
I’d want ‘Trampled Underfoot’ as I’m such a car gal..

Ahhh jimmy tell us what zoso means what is the meaning behind that symbol.
The basis of the symbol is Saturn. His ruling planet as a capricorn. Obviously he added his own spin.

Page has a nervous tick while being interviewed... Rubs nose with back of finger several times throughout interview ... EVERY interview...
It's also a cigarette tic
Lets see YOU on cocaine!
So and your point ??? If you were him and put up with the lime lights presure you would too !

Lol the most trusted name in news.
If Jones had passed...i wonder if they'd have split then!
JPJ created these songs for Zep: Black Dog, No Quarter, Trampled Under Foot...nuff said. The man was just as important as the other three
Uh, they would! JPJ was the anchor holding the others together in a coherent whole.
Ask page that question.
