Miss Mattie your peach cobbler looks so good. I am going to try this. It made my mouth water. I cook dinner every Sunday before church for my 3 boys and my 3boys wives and my 3 grandsons and a granddaughter her husband my grandsons wives and 2 greatgrands.I make some of it on Saturday so I can get to church on time. You’re my kind of cook! I learned from my granny. Put what you want and how much you think you need, then taste it. If you need more of something, put it in there and taste it again. If nobody else likes it, they don’t have to eat it. Funny thing is that everybody always ate it up!

Yes, I agree with you about NOT using cornstarch bc it changes the texture of the filling in the cobbler or pie to a gel once it gets cool. I prefer to use flour & peach juice to make a thin paste for thickening. Great video!

Just came across your video, and really enjoyed it. Your recipe for peach cobbler is identical to mine, minus the honey. My mother made hers with the same spices and I have just continued using her recipe through the years. I am now 78 yrs old. I can attest that this truly a delicious cobbler, and I am sure that all who try it will love it. Thank you for sharing your culinary skills with us. I love your down to earth personality, and your realness, when it comes to presentation. sometimes a dish just might not turn out as we hoped, in that area. But, "the proof of the pudding is in the eating," and that's the area that really counts! I look forward to seeing more of your recipes. Peace and blessings.
