I’m super nervous but super excited at the same time, me and a friend got booked to shoot our very first wedding. Glad I stumbled across this video. Extremely helpful thanks 🙏🏾
It is 11:00 p.m. here now and I'm about to call it a night. I just wanted to make sure to stop in and give you a thumbs up my blessed friend. Thank you for sharing and please have a wonderful upcoming week. ~ Sister Lynn
I prefer shooting alone because i dont like relying on others and etc its just more peace for me, i do bring my wife along and i have her shooting phone video just so that they have it but its not something we actively offer
Congrats! Takes a certain type of individual to enjoy the pressure and creatively thrive on it. When was it ? How long have you been taking photos for !
Lav mic on groom ( does a okay job and good plan b for vows of B&G Tapping into recording audio via the mixer from the microphone, that’s a better option Do both!!!
Nice Video. What do you do about the recording limits when shooting videos alone? I do shoot with my D750 bodies sometines but the recording time limits..10mins in 50p..is scary!
30 FPS I can shoot 20 minutes, I check them every 10 minutes and reset them ! Have to be a good multi tasker :) it really sucks for masses that are a hour long.. ensued to have tons of batteries and such. The rare time I’ll use 24 FPS to shoot 30 minute viseos
@@HustleHue It was too much stress as one person making sure I didn't miss anything, and I got into photography because I really enjoy it, and turning it into a full day of stressing out took all the fun out of it. I don't do a lot of weddings now unless someone needs a second shooter, I don't trust any photographers (that I have met) enough to hire one to be my second shooter.
jl sc I’m glad you love the passion! I hear you, hiring can be a big step and hard to find the best balance of style, personality, and professionalism. Keep shooting and thanks for watching!
I'll never shoot a wedding because it's a one-time event, and I know ahead of time that something will go wrong with my memory cards or something else that will mean I got no footage. I won't even consider doing it. I'd love to try it, but I won't do that to anyone on their special day.
KoolKatBeatz When I first started, I used to go through the settings from: Photo (take 5 photos), switch to video, take 15 seconds of video in focus for the story, switch back to photos, new angle, more photos, switch to video at new angle, repeat!
KoolKatBeatz It is possible to do photo/video on the same day with one camera... BE CLEAR with your clients about your style with videography it’s a shorter 3-4 minute highlight of energy.... NOT FULL coverage... and for example you will prioritize photography over video for moments like first kiss and might not be in the video (but I used to be quick and get both 5 great photos of first kiss, then switch, then get the energy of the end via video)

No problem enjoy it ! It’s amazing shooting your first and starting the journey
You forgot to mention to bring some spare underwear for yourself, because when something goes wrong, that's the first casualty! :)
Best comment !!!

FYI: The Panasonic Lumix doesn’t have a recording limit. However the sensor is M43 so you will need to stick with faster lenses
where can we watch the result? :)
On my website :)!
Could you put a link to the end result in the video? Can’t find it on your website(s)
This is so cool!
This is beautiful
Great video, do you also put a Lav mic on the bride? Or does the groom one pick her up too?
Just the groom and mic system
use two ideally. . .
Brilliant. Thanks.
No problem!
when do video and photo , do you use auto white balance ?
thanks for watching !I don't, i use custom white balance or shade outside
Did it, won't ever do it again.
It’s not for everyone! Do you hire a second then? What’s your process to hiring a second :-)
