In the first episode of the ETJ English podcast, I dive into the transition from my previous podcast, "Journeys With Elliott," and introduce the fresh direction of this new series. Join me for a laid-back chat about language learning, where I share the tools and methods I use to improve my Japanese. It's a cozy catch-up session that sets the stage for the exciting episodes. Whether you're into language learning or just looking for some relaxed listening, this episode is the perfect place to start.

Thank you so much my bro for this podcast. It's so good. Congratulations ❤
As one of your Japanese fans, I’m so delighted to know that you’re studying Japanese and that you love Japan.
It’s amazing to hear you mention words like “Yu-Gi-Oh!” and “Death Note” in Japanese-it’s such a surreal feeling.
I also admire your dedication to learning. I know how challenging it can be to continue studying while raising kids and working.
I’m really looking forward to hearing about your journey to Japan in the future!
Hello Eriot,
I’m one of the Japanese people who enjoy and find your UA-cam channel incredibly useful for improving my English skills. I was surprised to hear that a native English speaker like you feels exactly the same way I do. There’s no particular reason why I’ve been passionate about studying English since I was little, but somehow, I just can’t stop enjoying it.
If you could introduce aspects of daily life in the UK, like grocery shopping, having coffee with friends, the changing seasons, or day trips, I would definitely enjoy it.
Thank you! 😊
Absolutely amazing, I'm eagerly looking forward to listening to another one. You're the best 🥇✌🏻
I have to say: my English improved because I listened Journeys with Elliot everyday while I was driving to work. So, having a long, good and solid listening practice is perfect for level up your English.
Thanks very much for listening! I’m glad it’s been helpful
Elliott, please, keep making as much content as you can. It’s priceless for all English learners 👨🏻🏫
As for the topics I’d like to hear about in the future: how about British cuisine and your/your wife’s personal experience? I’ve been to England for a fortnight and would like to know more about it. Shortbread is my favourite ❤
I’m glad you’re learning Japanese and have your heart set on it 🫶 we need more episodes! I think my pronunciation is better because of you. Thank you for working harder and harder 🙏🏻
Wow, I adore this podcast❤ Thank you Elliott for coming back!
I like the part about learning japanese and being vegan/vegeterian (was actualy surprised about both themes).
Please make more podcasts please 🎉 tips for learning English, daily topics, your experience, you name it

Thank you for posting the Podcast! I really enjoyed it because I'm from Japan, it was a little bit related to Japan. And I'm looking forward to listening to another Podcast! いつもありがとう!
Elliott, your idea for the postcast is excellent and entertaining. As a suggestion, I recommend sharing your funny anecdotes-those you can tell-and I’m sure they’ll be a hit. On the other hand, you won’t need to prepare anything; just remember a funny story and with a good beer by your side, you’ll be chatting away like a parrot, haha. They will be very useful for those of us learning proper British English. Cheers.
Hello Elliot,

Hi Elliott! Thank you for your wonderful voice, words, message!
I would like you to talk about childhood and memories. Why do you keep them in mind? Are they funny? Did they make you pay more attention to something? Did you learn anything new from them? Did you make lifetime friends?
I think that would be so interesting! 😊
Super happy to get your podcast back... Actually listenting you talking helps me a lot so podcasts are good news for me... Keep it up... Continue the podcast...
Hello, Elliott, it's great, that you are back!
Could you make the podcast a bit loader, please? I don't know, how this thing works technically, if it's possible, it would be a help. Thank you.
Hi Eliot,
I'm really excited to hear your podcast again. I'd like to know a trick for learning vocabulary. Currently, I'm at a B2 level, but sometimes it's difficult to find the words to speak spontaneously. This is like a wall between me an other people when I need to have a conversation in English
Take care!!
i love this podcast!!! you are back

listened to it for the third time, FOCUS: new expressions
ELLIOT I SWEAR TO GOD THIS WAS JUST SO SO HELPFUL!!!
Lovely podcast! I wish I could speak English as you do. I've been studying English for a lifetime because I love it so much. I feel British inside! I'd appreciate if you made a podcast about Brexit and which consequences has had on English people and economy. Thanks. Take care. A kiss and a hug to your kids.
Wonderful! 👏🏻🥳 I love listening to podcasts and yours are enjoyable. I haven’t finished the previous one yet (Journeys with Eliott) so I’m glad to start listening to this one and keep up to date with the old one. 🤩
Hi, there! This episode was very warm and really felt like a friend talk!!! Loved it!❤
For the next topics, please share your parenting experience, how you deal with your naughty kids and don't lose your head, cause i'm a mom of two kids as well and find it hard to manage myself, feeling completely drained sometimes. So, any experience conserning raising, up-bringing, early development and education of kids would be great to hear! Thanks in advance!😊
P.s. my son of 5 also adores being naked)
Can you do that about some podcast about IELTS? I known the most important thing of language is can communication with someone and understand different mind. But in the real time, the exam stuff is so important for people in real life 😂

Why don't you learn Polish? Poland has beautiful culture, landscapes, the Poles are hospitable, cheerful, sociable. The language is the best to say "I love you". The longer I learn different languages, the more I appreciate my own mothertongue!
