Hi everyone! This is an UPDATED version of our very first episode, we replaced it with better audio for our High Level Listeners! So it might look a little familiar, hehe, thank you for your patience, we will have a brand new episode for you Monday!
Hi. It's a really an excellent opportunity to learn and practice our listening from an American native and a British native, that's great. You two are helping us a lot. Thanks.
I have watched a lot of videos like this.Honestly, your video is very useful for the learner who used English as a second language. I really love your program.
I love the conversation between Mark and Kat. It is very helpful to practice listening and also for daily conversation. This is my first comment on UA-cam video!
Welcome! Thanks so much for commenting! We're really glad you found us and that you like the video! There are 19 more episodes just like this one in Season 1 - we hope you like them too :)
This first episode was amazing!!!! I’m an advanced student from Argentina, and appreciate very much to have the opportunity of comparing both english and american accents and structures. Thanks a lot!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I am from sri lanka and I have been watching your series of high level listening podcasts since very beginning. Now it seems I am addicted to gain a huge knowledge through your collective effort. Thanks you both and my sincere wishes to keep this good job.
It's great to learn English with you all - especially when getting chance to listen both American and Bristish English. Thank you so much. Have a good day a head. :)
Thank you very much for this amazing conversation. Kat is right there isn't enough material for advanced speakers to pursue the fluency. I am glad I found your guys.
Amazing! I really love your 1st episode, I've learned a lot. I'm going to watch your next episode and all episodes that you are going to do. God bless you both!
It’s my first time to listen to your podcast. And I love it. From now on, I will always listen all your podcast. Great collaboration of you two. Congratulations!!!!
This is the first time I'm listening to your podcast. Before this, I was very confused on how to actually improve my English. But after listening to you guys, I'm sure I'm gonna improve my English speaking this time for real. Thank you so much guys.
My partner is British and I am Brazilian living in the UK ! I am inlove with this podcast . I understanding everything what you guys saying . Happy 😊 love to listening this❤
Awww that is so great! It can be tough living in a new country, even when your partner speaks the language, thanks so much for joining us, and we hope you continue to enjoy it!
I am deeply grateful for your time and trying to help us to grow and improve our English language.l would like to say thank you for kindness and generosity of both of you❤❤❤
Teacher I am really grateful to both of you. Your podcasts are technically useful for me. I can't say thank you enough. Please give me some tips on how to improve my fluency in English within 2 months. I don't have a speaking pattern or speaking clubs. Thanks a gain.
You're very welcome! For practice, you can absolutely watch one of our episodes more than once! We also recommend to take a short part of the video and try to repeat it after us. If you repeat and repeat and repeat, you will eventually start to get faster and remember more easily!
I've just discovered your channel. That's very interesting the way you teach us English. Jus in one episode, we learn vocabulary, accent both in Amercican and British english with a good vibe. Thank you. You got a new subscriber and student. I have to head off, oups head out 😂
Hi. From Thailand It's really interesting. I love British and American have discussion together which I can perceive more cultures, both accents, and crucial conversation. ❤❤ Thank you so much.
That’s amazing! Precisely what I need! I’m begging you to deliver more daily routine topics as there are lots of content with literature or scientific articles but what’s really needed is spoken language. Thanks a lot! 🙏
Thanks so much for being here with us! We totally agree! There are lots of advanced English videos that focus on long and difficult words on very precise academic subjects, but we think it's much more impressive when students can talk about ordinary things in greater detail! We've focused on normal, everyday topics in every episode for this exact reason :)
I really love this method of teaching English. Sometimes I meet some words that I don't know how to use them or if they are the same meaning. American style and British style often make me confused. So I love both of you who teach us English in this way.🥰😍
I can understand 90% listening. Your videos are very interesting. Thank you for all that you do to improve our listening and communication's skills. Brahim from Morocco.
Review when I wake up, I will hit the snooze and thank for my loyal alarm. Then I will lay in my bed for several minutes and scroll my phone. Later I will get up and brush my tooth and wash my face. Then I whip up some toasts and make myself a cup of milk. This is my pretty standard/ fairly ordinary morning. I love these expression. Make myself a cup of a tea: means just make a cup for myself. The amount is very small and just can serve for myself. whip up some toasts: means just cook easy food without following the recipe due to lacking time. head off/head out: go out Thank you for your teaching😊
Really, it was a good podcast. I enjoyed it. I learned a lot of things a few times . Specially I thank you ma'am for such a wonderful podcast wants more

Superb! ESL teacher here. Well structured. Well explained. I especially like the way you have focused on a just few vocab items and repeated them to make them hopefully memorable without being boring. This is quite challenging to listen to, but not impossibly so. Also like the juxtapositioning of Brit and American, again without being stuffy and overly analytical. Very much looking forward to finding more from you.

Hello Teacher, Nice to see you. I'm come from Cambodia (kh). I'm learning English for listening and speaking from your videos. Thanks U so much teachers.
It really depends on the word *and* the accent of the speaker. The more you listen to our episodes, the more you'll realise that Kat (USA) pronounces "T" more like a "D". Whereas I (Mark - UK) pronounce the T more often, *or* I skip it at the end of words especially. On top of that, some stronger British accents skip the T more often, but I have a neutral accent, so most of the time you can hear mine - I hope that makes sense!
