Thanks for all of the welcome back messages. I explained my disappearance on Instagram last week. To make it short, I had surgery, then I was really sick for a few weeks. All of this on top of taking care of my pregnant partner, a 5 month old puppy, and all of the lovely members of my course. As UA-cam isn’t my job, it’s been hard to fit it in to my schedule. I’ll continue to try my best to provide this free education for you for the rest of 2021. Thanks for understanding that this will be a really special, yet challenging year for me.

Hey, Elliot! I really enjoyed this lesson. One thing I struggle with is to undertand some words, verbs, expressions and slangs in the cooking world. For instance: chop, dice, whip, stir, on the fly, drizzled, fluffy, kosher, reduced, simmered, tangy, comfort food, go dutch, banger, you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs, etc. Which ones are most used in Britain?

"One for the road" it's the same expression that Venezuelan usually used " compra uno para el camino" = "buy one for the road".
