the PC/ Console version of LEGO Batman 1 was known to be rushed, which explains the infamously small roster, Azreal, Huntress and Black Mask having their parts (minus weapons) being put into the character creator being unlocked as you progress through the game, Harvey Bullock getting completely scrapped, with the only surviving evidence being an image of a render in a currently unknown book, that was posted online, and character data in the files for a Riot Policeman, that when put into the game via usage of hacks or mods, results in a character with a complete icon, model, walking animations, an entirely unique baton and shield weapon, and attack animations for it, that was likely meant to be a villain story exclusive enemy like the SWAT and Police Marksman, also the design for the DS Demolition Suit is the original design, that was scrapped from the PC/ Console versions. It's intresting to wonder if some of the DS roaster characters, such as the extra villians were meant to be in the PC/ Console verison at some point and what they could've done, like could Firefly have had the heat immunity ability? and give that game mechanic more of a purpose outside of a single level, were Two-Face's goons meant to appear in the final hero Riddler level?, if these other villians were suppsoed to be in both versions how would they be unlocked, how were Azreal, Huntress and Black Mask meant to be unlocked, was Black Mask going to be tied to the red bricks like Hush with the hostages or Ra's with minkits?

@@pout6038 Yeah. Fuck JK Rowling, her magic sucks ass, and that's coming from a guy who thinks magic is badass. Well, not from TERF wizard books. That's why I love games that let you Spellcraft. Also because you can do stupid shit like "Jump into the heavens without a parachute"
To give you all an idea of what the DS Harry Potter games are like -Years 1 to 4: Isometric 3D with 3D models (like the GBA lego Star Wars games). The main gameplay occur on the touch-screen while the top screen is the map. You do the spells by brawing simbols and Wingardium Leviosa is part of those spells. Also, has minigames were you have to follow a spark through gears with the stylus, or the potion making minigame for exemple. - Years 5 to 7: More like the standard DS Lego Games affair (full 3D, uses top screen for the gameplay with the bottom screen for the character switching and the spell selection). I don't remember all of the details (been years since I played), so feel free to bring precisions/correction to my points. Good luck on Lego Batman 2 (if it ever happens)!
Spot on. Handheld HP 5-7 is essentially the structure of the earliest Lego titles; Hogwarts is just a hub akin to the Batcave or the Mos Eisley Cantina instead of being fully explorable like its big sister port, not even having individual doors for all levels, so it’s technically small even by standards like THIS handheld port. Levels are pretty decent, though, and the dueling club has some novelty for a while, but definitely gets redundant with the sheer number of characters to duel.
Thanks! Tropical storm Helene has really thrown a lot of things off locally for me, and UA-cam gets really random about what it actually wants to share from my uploads.
I loved playing the first Lego Batman on my Black DS as a Child, Nostalgia hits deep, I also remember a lot of the time when I was playing it, 100%ing the game itself to unlock everything lol, I remember finally unlocking Azreal lol, he was a cool looking character with his outfit and with a lot of good abilities, I think he had most abilities to deal with situations so, Idk lol I forgot.
"I also suspect some of the people who went down this pipeline also realised they were a woman" OKAY wow wasn't expecting a direct and accurate shot to my head like that
this was the first game I ever owned, Insank so many hours into it. got the ps2 version later on and basically left the ds version behind after that, but it will always hold a special place in my heart
Thanks! I wish I always had stuff ready this fast. This and Origins were both in the works for a while, and I’ve still been out of work following tropical storm Helene damage, so I just doubled down on making videos.
It was strange, but I really enjoyed it. My first introduction to Lego Batman was through the Wii version at the time. Ever since Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, whenever I got a new Lego game, I had to also get it on the DS.
it’s subjective. that’s like me saying i enjoyed cat in the hat for GBA over the PS2 version when they’re different games with the same if not similar story
I both had the PS2 version and the DS version of this game, I distinctly remember buying the DS version from a newsagent (I'm from Italy btw, newsagent selling toys and gadgets are pretty common here, idk if it is like that even in other countries, honestly) if I remember correctly it also came with a tiny magazine, although I can't really remember if it was a comic or something like that, but I remember seeing it and begging my mom to buy it for me, I played it quite a bit but I think I was about six or seven at the time so I don't really remember a lot of that game, what I do remember is that I ended up buying it because I had lots of fun on the PS2 version with my dad, and the thought of having it on the go was very exciting for me.
My first ever video game was Lego Indiana Jones for the DS. I played it until ot stopped working and then I got another copy and played it until my DS stopped working
when i was younger i loved the batman ds i didnt even know it was a port i thought it was like that on all consoles i had never played anything else but Cod zombies on xbox at the time so i knew very little about video games lol but i loved both lego batman ds game when i was younger
i didn't realise other people knew about this game! i have a copy of it somewhere in my house but god knows where it's gone in the past... 10-12 years since i last played it. i have clearer memories of playing the xbox 360 version of the original game with my dad. that, and i was way more invested in the DS port of lego star wars: the complete saga anyway
As a kid I only ever played my Brother's Version of it. Thing is, he ALSO had the PS3 version, but I willingly played the DS version for some reason and even finished it
I always thought it was weird which characters the ds port decided to give a double jump to. Like you said, you’d expect some who’s acrobatic line robin to have a double jump but the ds port was “nah, how about a double jump for riddler instead?”
I grew up with the this version and only played the demo on the home console/pc version of Lego Batman 1. I was a dumb child who couldn't get far in this game, and I had to get the game again several years ago to show up my younger self. I only played the hero story I think, but I still have that copy so one day I may do the villian side of the story.
Vividly remember Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes on the Wii. That was such an amazing game, since my parents put it away long ago but I have it back I just need the nunchucks.
i first played this game on the ds but would watch clips and trailers on the family computer of the console ports played it religously to the day i adore those weird comic type panels for the cutscenes
Ah this version. I wound up playing this one far more than the console, mostly because I was able to bring it with me when we we were out of the house. A key memory of mine is unlocking Firefly and finding their design to be awesome, then a little disappointed they weren't on the console version. Made me probably one of the only peope to pog like nuts when Firefly ended up as a secondary character in DC3's plot.
Glad I had good timing! I was super amused to see bd1p also put up a Lego Batman video right around the timing of mine; apparently everyone had it on the brain!
Glad I nailed it for ya! It appeared rather intuitive the way you have it set, so when it first popped up, it clicked right away. Thanks again for your support!
I've played a few console lego games where I'll have access to characters in story but be forced to unlock and buy them later. So yeah it's not that huge of a deal for me.
i think about how bizarre this port has always been and how it feels more and more dream like the older i get. i had even 100% it. and for the longest time i hated it since the playable robot penguin was only in the home console versions. the fact its a 3d game on the ds still wigs me out.
Oh yes. The number of hours I put into this as a kid. Growing up, I didn't own a console so my childhood exclusively consisted of handheld games and handheld ports like this one. Of the original big three TT LEGO games, this one was always my favorite too despite being a massive Star Wars nerd growing up because the idea of having villain levels was so cool. It really made the game feel special. I even have two copies of it because my brother wasn't interested in keeping any of our ds games so I have the whole collection now.
I had reasons enough to watch the indy video and this one considering I grew up with them, didn’t grow up with the Harry Potter ds games tho, but considering the intro, I think I’d pass on that video either way lol
it's been so long since i 100%d lego batman i completely forgot you don't actually fight bane as batman and robin in that because the level where you played as him throwing cops into space was one of the most fun ones in the game
There was a group of us at my old elementary school who played this game constantly, I absolutely loved this game. I almost prefer this over the pc/console port.
LEGO Batman is one of my favourite Batman games on account of how well it blends different elements from different Batman interpretations. Also, the LEGO>Arkham>Comic pipeline is pretty accurate, it seems. Also also, LEGO Killer Moth *is* peak and I'm happy someone agrees.
Dude I played the crap outta this one as a kid and 100%ed it again just last year haha ❤️ Though in my more recent playthrough I couldn't shake the feeling that it's all so painfully linear. Like even when you know what suits or setpieces you'll need to build and where they are, if you just wanna zoom through a level (like maybe you remember where a collectible is and just wanna snag that) it's so darn samey! Build this, run in a circle to grab the studs. Interact with it, watch the scene, fight a guy. Walk through, fight a guy, break stuff, run in a circle. It was never worth it to try mixing up the combat with jump moves, or to try backing away to send in a batarang/card, which really didn't help the feel. It was particularly weird to stand on a button just for the pieces for a switch to appear.. Then to build and use the switch just to make a two-person pull bar thing show up.. And only now do you get the ladder or travel chute. They often added these weird, redundant steps haha ^^' Other than that, I totally love the style and themes, the different sides to each scenario, the moves and costumes switching around from the other version, etc! Any complaints I have were things I hardly cared about as a kid, and the game stood out enough in my mind to call me back after a solid decade :3 I still always wish the unique DS versions of games would receive ports to other consoles, like the unique CoD campaigns, Metroids, Marios & Zeldas, Transformers, etc etc. I just really want versions that are rebuilt for one screen and a controller in the hands, but I recognize the lack of a real market for that. At least Konami, Capcom, Sega, and some others are willing to bundle and resell packs of their older games on modern platforms :3 Edit: eyyy, you addressed some of it! Also solid video man!! ^^
Idk know if your still looking at the comments on this video. but I’d love 2 see you take a look at the psp port of Lego pirates of the Caribbean. If I remember right it’s a Lego Batman sort of thing where it’s just a straight up different game compared to the console versions
From what I’ve heard, LB1 console had a shit development by a skeleton crew. Some of the characters found in the DS version had all their parts available in the character creator. Both of those points along with LB1 console having the smallest roster of any lego game makes me believe a lot of the DS exclusives only missed out because they didn’t have time or resources to make high quality’s assets for them.
Azreal and Huntress have all their parts in the console's character creator minus their weapons, and Black Mask is also in there, though I don't know what the consitions are to unlock those parts are, it's either tied to getting all minkits, getting all characters or 100% progress, I never got Black Mask's parts or to 100%, as I was never able to get that one minikit during the snow sliding section right before the boss fight in the final hero Penquin level, which also meant no Ra's al Ghul, so i'm not sure what of the 3 things Black Mask is tied to, my best guess is that it's all characters unlocked, additionally relatively recently a render of a console version of Harvey Bullock in a currently unknown book, made it's way online, which seems to confirm that at one, he was meant to be on the console roster, likely along with Azreal, Huntress and Black Mask (since their parts are in the character creator), and the unused Riot Policeman found in the game files, as when modded into the game, not only does it have a character icon, and walking animations (which stuff like the random civilian models don't even have when made playable), but also an entirely unique weapon, a baton and shield, but also attack animations for them, and i think he also breaks apart upon death, my guess is that not only was he meant to be playable, and unlike complete random out of nowhere inclusions roster filler that aren't even encountered in the levels like the Yeti, Clown Goon or the biggest waste of a slot, the Military Policeman, the Riot Policeman was most likely going to be another higher tier villain story enemy that potentially would've shown up alongside SWAT or Police Marskmen, and could've given more purpose to characters like Bane and Killer Croc being able to grapple enemies, as there would be a tougher melee enemy to fight.
@@TylertheCC1010fan it’s also of note that we know of some similar cases in LB2 with superboy being found in the code and vixen’s torso in the character creator. I’m sure there’s some non-dc examples I don’t know of but it seams like a rule that they handed over any resources like character designs long before Implementing them into the console release.
4:50 just here to add my 'holy shit me too!' to the pile ty youtube algorithm, for somehow bringing us all here to collectively experience this callout
Azreal is like the most stupid OP character in the game, also yea the medieval swords for Ra's and Talia is strange, I think they should've brought over the scimitar sword that for example some of the thugge characters in LEGO Indy use, just so that it's somewhat more closer in origin to the al Ghul's.
Dude, you just brought back my nostalgia with this video. Lego Batman on DS was part of my first ten DS games I ever played AND was the first introduction to Batman + DC as a whole. Sadly my first Lego game was Lego Star Wars II DS which was... a very very buggy mess of a game (plus that annoying ewok level with those impossible jumps). Lego Batman DS on the other hand, now that was an incredible game, managed to beat both hero and villian stoires though got stuck on the villian hunt mode, but I was 5 - 7 years old then. Thank you for bringing some nostalgic joy to me, and you''ve definately earned a new subcriber from me. I look forwards to see you future content. :3
@@BaneShake Oh, would it be okay to ask about how you create your content. I hope to become a content creator one day and I always try to ask content creators I enjoy / respect about how they record and edit their videos. If I'm asking too much of you then I'm sorry for being a bother.
@@MonoHerobrine No bother at all! I do it in a few steps: 1) Most crucially, when covering a game, is actually playing the game in the first place. Recording footage is easy on new consoles, which typically have built-in recording suites. When I cover games from before that, typically PS3, I have to plug the console's HDMI cord into a capture card and run it through OBS on my computer to record. For videos like this, which cover handhelds like Nintendo DS or Game Boy, emulation and screen recording is the easiest, and doesn't even need a fancy device, as most computers can handle the simpler emulation needs for those. 2) Writing the script tends to happen a minor amount as I play, and the majority once I'm done. 3) Recording for my voiceover is done through Audacity. I have a decent mic now, a Yeti, but even budget mics can get the job done. If using a mic that doesn't have some degree of "cancelling" noise from around you built in, it actually may benefit you to record with the mic in a closet so that surrounding objects absorb the echos the mic might pick up from empty surrounding walls. In audacity, you can also leave about five seconds "recording" before speaking to have a selection of background noise that you can set for noise reduction. 4) I used to edit through iMovie, but also used Windows equivalents at times, but have used the free tier of Davinci resolve for several years now. If you're completely unfamiliar, something like iMovie will be more beginner friendly and a great way to teach yourself the basics, but it will be comparatively limited for more complex options. Some things to keep in mind: 1) Quality footage requires a good amount of storage. A video like this alone takes up a few gigs, and of course, that's JUST for the video file. All of my Lego Batman footage, both the PS3 and DS versions, is sitting at about 140 gb, and I only upload in 1080p. People who record in 2k or 4k will need monumentally more than that. 2) Audio quality will be way more important than video quality for viewers. If it's crystal clear visuals but there's mic hissing or audio crackling, people will click away fast. 3) Finally, and this is the one most crucial: it is a learning process, and it's okay to not know how to do everything other people can do. Do not beat yourself up for not feeling like it is perfect when you start. Do the best you can, teach yourself as you can, and like any other skill, it will get better over time.
also I wanna add not a lot of people talk about this and maybe its just me but this version of the game is like liminal as fuck, the environments and the low quality of the weird mysterious music and the creepy silent character models makes this game have this very weird aura that I love. Maybe I just attribute that to a nostalgic feeling though since I did get this game when I was 3 years old and playing it is one of my earliest memories being alive
Yeti is, uh… I mean, Yeti is obviously… hm… (Real talk, people have had GREAT discussions trying to figure out who TF if Yeti. I was tempted to make a joke about him being missing here, but ended up not going with it for this video)

@@pout6038 Yeah. Fuck JK Rowling, her magic sucks ass, and that's coming from a guy who thinks magic is badass. Well, not from TERF wizard books. That's why I love games that let you Spellcraft. Also because you can do stupid shit like "Jump into the heavens without a parachute"
she’s a terrible writer while also being an awful person so it checks out
Why would he bash her, didn't she create the series?
@@flaming0sniper0 She did. But have you SEEN what she's been doing online? Besides, Wizarding World is... middle of the road in fiction terms.
This was my version of Lego Batman. Pretty solid TBF
To give you all an idea of what the DS Harry Potter games are like
-Years 1 to 4: Isometric 3D with 3D models (like the GBA lego Star Wars games).
Yay, you're back! Glad to see it, and great video.
"I also suspect some of the people who went down this pipeline also realised they were a woman" OKAY wow wasn't expecting a direct and accurate shot to my head like that
Autism specific stereotypes are harder to gather data on in person but just as accurate
this was the first game I ever owned, Insank so many hours into it. got the ps2 version later on and basically left the ds version behind after that, but it will always hold a special place in my heart
Holy shit man, you put this video out fast!
Thanks! I wish I always had stuff ready this fast. This and Origins were both in the works for a while, and I’ve still been out of work following tropical storm Helene damage, so I just doubled down on making videos.
Just randomly found your video and I REALLY liked it, I’m looking forward to the next episode :3
Glad to have you around! My Lego games coverage is always so much fun to make
It was strange, but I really enjoyed it. My first introduction to Lego Batman was through the Wii version at the time.
Ever since Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, whenever I got a new Lego game, I had to also get it on the DS.
These games gave me strange "alternate universe" vibes for some reason
They technically have to be, since some events play out differently!
Before I watch this, i believe this version to be superior to the ps2/xbox, lets see if its all nostalgia or not
I don't agree. I think the PS2 version is the definitive one. Animated cutscenes, larger maps, better graphics
I grew up with this version of the game and I still think it's great, but there is no way it is superior to the console version.
it’s subjective. that’s like me saying i enjoyed cat in the hat for GBA over the PS2 version when they’re different games with the same if not similar story
@@OldSkoolWheniRide Of course it's subjective. Saying something is superior is still a subjective statement.
@@lucastekkan what makes it better than the 360 version
I both had the PS2 version and the DS version of this game, I distinctly remember buying the DS version from a newsagent (I'm from Italy btw, newsagent selling toys and gadgets are pretty common here, idk if it is like that even in other countries, honestly) if I remember correctly it also came with a tiny magazine, although I can't really remember if it was a comic or something like that, but I remember seeing it and begging my mom to buy it for me, I played it quite a bit but I think I was about six or seven at the time so I don't really remember a lot of that game, what I do remember is that I ended up buying it because I had lots of fun on the PS2 version with my dad, and the thought of having it on the go was very exciting for me.
i sure love the bounter hunty missions
My first ever video game was Lego Indiana Jones for the DS. I played it until ot stopped working and then I got another copy and played it until my DS stopped working
Great vid, looking forward to Lego Harry Potter 1-4 DS since its nostalgic to me and quite a unique experience

when i was younger i loved the batman ds i didnt even know it was a port i thought it was like that on all consoles i had never played anything else but Cod zombies on xbox at the time so i knew very little about video games lol but i loved both lego batman ds game when i was younger
Funny you mention that, COD Zombies also had a weird DS port as part of that version of Black Ops
i didn't realise other people knew about this game! i have a copy of it somewhere in my house but god knows where it's gone in the past... 10-12 years since i last played it. i have clearer memories of playing the xbox 360 version of the original game with my dad. that, and i was way more invested in the DS port of lego star wars: the complete saga anyway
Thx man brang back so many memories
one of my first games on the DS, nostalgia
4:50 i feel called out... 🧍♀️
Riddle me this, Batman! *(bounces like Mario)*
Lego Batman 2 is one of my genuine favorites in the entire Lego series, and the one that really did the most to modernize the franchise.
Good thumbnail you should do Lego batman 2 next
i first played this game on the ds but would watch clips and trailers on the family computer of the console ports played it religously to the day i adore those weird comic type panels for the cutscenes
I was REALLY into Batman 3's pre-release stuff, and I just about did a backflip whenever they first showed off Firefly for the game
I was called tf out with that woman realization read lmao💀
No same I was like "goddamn he really figured it all out"
I just finished playing through the story of Lego Batman on PC today, and am so glad this has popped up
Glad I had good timing! I was super amused to see bd1p also put up a Lego Batman video right around the timing of mine; apparently everyone had it on the brain!
5:04 Hell yes, brother, when I was a kid, Killer Moth was my favorite, and I can say it's still the same as a 22 year old man
Killer Moth fans UNITE

Epic, you pronounced my name right. Most people pronounce it Sword O.G.
Hi, im one person who felt down the pipeline and realised I'm a woman

Same here, sister. Preach.

me too girl
Yeah that’s me, too!
i think about how bizarre this port has always been and how it feels more and more dream like the older i get. i had even 100% it. and for the longest time i hated it since the playable robot penguin was only in the home console versions. the fact its a 3d game on the ds still wigs me out.
Can't forget Yeti, that character is also missing in this port
Really good handheld port.
I can’t wait to here about the typo for one of the chapters
I even have two copies of it because my brother wasn't interested in keeping any of our ds games so I have the whole collection now.
i love how people are FINALLY starting to talk about this game
I had reasons enough to watch the indy video and this one considering I grew up with them, didn’t grow up with the Harry Potter ds games tho, but considering the intro, I think I’d pass on that video either way lol
it's been so long since i 100%d lego batman i completely forgot you don't actually fight bane as batman and robin in that because the level where you played as him throwing cops into space was one of the most fun ones in the game
His playable console level was a blast, no doubt. I’d just switch back and forth on his grapple takedowns as a kid: Sky! Backbreak! Sky! Backbreak!
There was a group of us at my old elementary school who played this game constantly, I absolutely loved this game. I almost prefer this over the pc/console port.
As a 22 year old, lego batman for the ds was pure childhood, so was the PS2 version
Dude I played the crap outta this one as a kid and 100%ed it again just last year haha ❤️
Though in my more recent playthrough I couldn't shake the feeling that it's all so painfully linear. They often added these weird, redundant steps haha ^^'
Other than that, I totally love the style and themes, the different sides to each scenario, the moves and costumes switching around from the other version, etc! Any complaints I have were things I hardly cared about as a kid, and the game stood out enough in my mind to call me back after a solid decade :3
I still always wish the unique DS versions of games would receive ports to other consoles, like the unique CoD campaigns, Metroids, Marios & Zeldas, Transformers, etc etc. I just really want versions that are rebuilt for one screen and a controller in the hands, but I recognize the lack of a real market for that. At least Konami, Capcom, Sega, and some others are willing to bundle and resell packs of their older games on modern platforms :3
Edit: eyyy, you addressed some of it! Also solid video man!! ^^
Thanks! I always appreciate seeing people make the time for their own in-depth experiences on here!
Its funny cause im kinda the opposite- coming out as trans introduced me to an interest in batman 🤣
Either way it counts as a victory
I grew up with this one! I always thought it was neat.
Idk know if your still looking at the comments on this video. but I’d love 2 see you take a look at the psp port of Lego pirates of the Caribbean. If I remember right it’s a Lego Batman sort of thing where it’s just a straight up different game compared to the console versions
You’re actually the first person to ask about that one, I think! It’s absolutely on my radar…
Crazy how much better this game is than the main console releases. Harry Potter 1-4 is very good on the DS
Azreal and Huntress have all their parts in the console's character creator minus their weapons, and
Black Mask is also in there, though I don't know what the consitions are to unlock those parts are, it's either tied to getting all minkits, getting all characters or 100% progress, I never got Black Mask's parts or to 100%, as I was never able to get that one minikit during the snow sliding section right before the boss fight in the final hero Penquin level, which also meant no Ra's al Ghul, so i'm not sure what of the 3 things Black Mask is tied to, my best guess is that it's all characters unlocked, additionally relatively recently a render of a console version of Harvey Bullock in a currently unknown book, made it's way online, which seems to confirm that at one, he was meant to be on the console roster, likely along with Azreal, Huntress and Black Mask (since their parts are in the character creator), and the unused Riot Policeman found in the game files, as when modded into the game, not only does it have a character icon, and walking animations (which stuff like the random civilian models don't even have when made playable), but also an entirely unique weapon, a baton and shield, but also attack animations for them, and i think he also breaks apart upon death, my guess is that not only was he meant to be playable, and unlike complete random out of nowhere inclusions roster filler that aren't even encountered in the levels like the Yeti, Clown Goon or the biggest waste of a slot, the Military Policeman, the Riot Policeman was most likely going to be another higher tier villain story enemy that potentially would've shown up alongside SWAT or Police Marskmen, and could've given more purpose to characters like Bane and Killer Croc being able to grapple enemies, as there would be a tougher melee enemy to fight.

I figured this one would have an audience, but DAMN did I not expect these numbers
The DS version is the only way you can fight Bane since he didn't had a boss fight in the original version cuz he defeated himself
You might have noticed that I am a massive Bane fan, but this exactly is my favorite detail about this port
@@BaneShake also it's weird that Man-Bat and Killer Moth were both absent in Penguin and Joker's teams
Honestly, I Looked To The PSP Version And The Other Console Versions More Than Nintendo DS For LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Indiana Jones And LEGO Batman!
The PSP ports are also great. Especially how Indy, Batman, and Star Wars 2 were just adapted versions of the full version.
@BaneShake Very Good To Know.
lego lord of the rings ds port went crazy
Weird dice lmao
Hey this is the one I had as a kid!
4:58 “But I loved the Lego Batman games…” - quote from my trans wife. You’ve killed her
Azreal is like the most stupid OP character in the game, also yea the medieval swords for Ra's and Talia is strange, I think they should've brought over the scimitar sword that for example some of the thugge characters in LEGO Indy use, just so that it's somewhat more closer in origin to the al Ghul's.
it was the first ds game i ever had and i definitely feel like it is the best version of the game
Glad I could help bring back memories!
@@BaneShake And thank you for replying to my message. :3
Absolutely! I love engaging with you all on here. It’s half the fun!
I do it in a few steps:
1) Most crucially, when covering a game, is actually playing the game in the first place.
Some things to keep in mind:
1) Quality footage requires a good amount of storage.
Always thought this game had more life put into it than the console version
this game is great recommended for anyone and i grew up with it
Cool video and all but I could do with less political topics in my escapist video about lego games. Otherwise great video.
also I wanna add not a lot of people talk about this and maybe its just me but this version of the game is like liminal as fuck, the environments and the low quality of the weird mysterious music and the creepy silent character models makes this game have this very weird aura that I love. Maybe I just attribute that to a nostalgic feeling though since I did get this game when I was 3 years old and playing it is one of my earliest memories being alive
I played it later in life than you, and I’ll back you up that it’s liminal as fuck
I remember this one, damn.
