"They preform well in snow??" " That is a bear!" My favorite scene of this video! Great job. Really nice to see how much work you have and can put in to a jeep to make it do what you want, while still be safe.
best, most used, practical gladiator in the world. 👍
love that rear bumper!
You are set! The ultimate overlanding apocalyptic vehicle! I want the RSI cap and Rhink rack. All you need are the metacloak hinge steps to reach your rack.
What I would like to see is the weight of the truck at the beginning of a trip, so do a stop at a weigh station when you get a chance. ☺️
It's interesting- some criticize the Jackery for having a non-stackable, rounded shape, but it actually makes it super well suited to jamming it in a footwell like that- probably a common storage solution rather than having a goalzero neatly stacked on a slide or similar!
Great setup.
Recently you have had a lot of videos with you guys winching out of tough situations. I would love to see a full video on how to winch out of every tough situation. For example, when you are alone or when you need to winch backwards or if you don't have a winch what you can use. I always thought that you can get yourself out of almost anything with a shovel and an axe. OK that might take a long time but it could be true. A video showing so many ways to recover yourself or friends and what gear is a necessity.
Thanks.
Also, it's cool to see you do so many of the trails that over the years I have done. Many of them look rougher now then when I did them.
The swing out Expedition One rear tire carrier is EPIC!
Love that battle scar black paint job ! Looks almost grey now Shawn with no place left out to scratch. The brush gods have truly blessed this truck and the only one used to it's full potential ! 🍻🇨🇦
Good to see a walkaround on this beast! Love the build.
Shaun: Where do *you* keep your *snow chains* (LOL)
Sorry press the wrong button to continue and used for overlanding. Not ment for rock crawling but will 35 with 2.5 lift, will be good enough. Very new at this and be by myself, just want to enjoy my adventure and watching your video your a bad ass thank you
Great video. It was cool to see all your stuff. I love the stainless steel truck cap!
Bear: Don't mind me. Just doing my rounds.
Wicked setup man ...
Wish you came to New Brunswick would like to go on a trip with you guys
From Pei man
"snoOooOOw. That is a bear." LMAO I was so confused for a second and then you mentioned the bear.
Rig keeps getting more awesome . Nice overview new rear bumper now that's the trick with camper shell . Kenwood I've always used for my radios in emergency services you love reliability .
That shirt and the package of KD made this even better. Btw when are you wrapping the Jeep? I thought you were going to do something like Khan
It's fairly expensive and I had other priorities. On the back burner for now.
Love the truck and adventures! That bear was probably after that sweet box of Mac and Cheese you had in the cab... LOL
Great video and setup. You definitely have the best gladiator build out there . Love that you are still running stock axle and gears. Thanks be safe
Love it...Bring back the kmc beadlocks!
I think you got the best for your Jeep.
I totally ❤ it!
Sir, what is your tire size?
I'm watching from the Philippines...😊👍
Badass gladiator sir 👏🏻🤙🏻
Thanks for the walk around! It is inspiring to see...working on my Gladiator build myself. BTW loved the spontaneous cameo 🐻🧸 the is no black bear emoji
This was an interesting video. Thanks for sharing your setup with us!
The best neighbors men 🤟
What brand is that orange bucket? Do you have a link? :D
Casey The Troll...lol
Lol, funny that Casey knows all of his gear and still watches the video
Great video, love the channel. What size Toyo open country? And the wheel size too please
37" r17 I'm 90% on that
@@maccook1692 thank you. Do you ever feel like you need bigger out there? I'm asking because I'm debating 37 vs. 40 on mine. However, I've watched do anything and everything with this gladiator so if 37 is good enough for you it's good enough for me
@@ajyoussef2927 I'm on 37s with 3/4" spacers and I can do 75% of the trails in Rockies. I think if you realistically want to run 40s that means you're going hard, and I think you'd snap a d44 axle on 40s
@@maccook1692 yeah I was worried about that too. Thanks for the info and continued success with the channel
LMBO!! Before watching this video I saw another one of your videos and asked if you ever see wildlife on any of your adventures dangerous or not. Well there you go right in your own front yard. LOL 😂
What gears are you running? And have you gone to chromoly axle shafts? I don’t remember you talking about that in previous videos unless I missed it. 😅
Stock
@@TheStoryTillNow Wow! That’s great to hear. Thank you!
Is that the best you could do? Kidding of course. Yours was the first Gladiator I saw and actually thought looked good.
Thanks!
@The Story Till Now, I highly recommend coil springs from Rock Krawler over Teraflex.
Love the swing out doors in the back... you have everything in that rig... very prepared !! Beautiful area where you live.... complete with bears strolling down the road 😳
Great videos keep up the good work.. Do you have any dirty and dangerous hats?
You are the real deal Shaun!! Nice work
Really like your choice of box top.
Sweet ride...⛓
Really like the bed cap, but love the dual tire mount in the rear! But the real question I have is...did you ever see Momma? LOL!!
Love my SmartCap! I was one of the first to get one for my Tacoma. Love seeing you taking advantage of the weatherproof capabilities of the topper! Loving the videos man. Keep em coming! :)
Love youe video, and thank you for show your rig including the roof tent and all. I'm buying a gladiator in Aug when I retire, and thought what it would look like till I saw you video, thank you. Mine willbe used as a daily adventure an
Lol that bear coming outta nowhere. Great vid, you definitely got a sweet setup! How often do you use the child's watering can in the back? hehe :P
Bear Spray???? Love the new mods on trail wrecker!!! Indialantic Beach, Florida
orange bucket had some great recovery gear. Always bring a shovel.👍🤟
Seriously though, that is nice storage cap and bumper is awesome, should protect the body well since gladiator had large overhang on departure angle.
Yes I’ve been doing that with pack out since they came out. I screwed the base plate to my decked
Love the setup. I'm currently running a ARE topper with tuff stuff roof top tent. Thinking of selling it all together and going with a Harker Outdoors EDC topper. Awesome channel
Love your set up!!
Insanely sick setup! One day...
Bro, no offense, but isn’t every day like a vacation? 😂 much love keep up the great videos.
That Milwaukee Packout is great, never seen that before..
Nice build. I’ll save for reference!
I just watched your video and it’s a couple of years old. But I was wondering where you got the license plate flip for your front bumper. Thanks.
Great walk-around! I see all the links below about camera gear but what mic do you use with a dead cat? Loved the video! It's looking amazing. Haha The build never ends. Love it!
Rode Videomic Pro+ no deadcat
How did you get your sponsors? How does that all work? Also video gear video would be cool to see.
I only came here to hear about the tires and Yogi Bear over there almost ruined everything. 😂
Big fan Shawn. Gladiator is looking good!
Damn Shaun, what a pretty nice setup 👍 Bears and BMW in the Background, also nice…is the BMW your Daily driver? Greetings from Bavaria 😉
Its my wife's car.
@@TheStoryTillNow Nice one too…👍 but yours is Badass 😉
I’d put my money on this being the most well used Gladiator out there! That thing looks like it’s ten years old and that’s a compliment!🤘😎
That is an epic build. Can't wait to see what's next.
Great build brother! Can’t wait for you to upgrade to some aluminum or steel fenders. I guess it’s a JL/JT thing guys rock those plastic fenders lol
If you hit these fenders on something they just pop off. If you hit steel or aluminum fenders on something it will destroy the body.
Love to see your adventures videos ....from Nagaland 👍
Badass setup man. Funny how they’re constantly evolving, right? I can’t keep from messing with things and changing it up.
So cool Gladiator you have. The dual tire carrier is nice👌👌.
how often do you use extra gas on those jerry cans???.
Greetings.
Never say never with the Jeep OIIIIIO
Do you know if Kenwood is the only radio that can record the conversations?
Just picked up the key chain...nice
Just need an extended gas tank where the spare tire used to be, complete with skid plate. 👍
Has 1, seen the video. Adds 17 gallons (CAN).
How heavy is your rig now? Also the mpg, how was it affected?
Lastly, can you put prices on how much each upgrade costs? For future references 😅
7mpg
would you suggest the exp 1 dual swing out bumper today ? Or is there something gooder out today ?
Love your posts Shaun. Given you travel such long distances, why did you upgrade to such a large engine?
For fun, and because our partners Epic Adventure Outfitters and White Rock Dodge are doing the swaps.
Damn that's a slick setup.
That's a sweet rig. Nice bear.
Shaun- Where can I find information on the Kenwood Radio you are running?
Google Kenwood NX-5000
Awesome truck and well used!
Do you know when Teraflex is coming out with the full lift kit for the eco diesel 3.5” lift, not the Frankenstein one (not saying its bad) just want the legit one from them. I’m dying waiting for it. Love the rear bumpers and truck cap. Thinking of doing the same for sure now after seeing on yours.
Love the bumper on the back! Where did you get it?
11:19 --- Welcome to Canada!
Beautiful gladiator You did her right. 👍. By the way enjoyed your video and baby bear.
Thank you very much!
Love the rig !! Forsure best setup out there that actually gets used. What air compressor do you run and where do u mount it ? Also is that the mopar front bumper ?
ARB dual compressor under the passenger seat. ARB stubby front bumper.
Great vid! Which nittos did you feel the open countrys are quieter compared to, the trail grapplers?
Are you still on 37’s or did you step up to 40’s with the Toyo’s?
Love the build! I’ve run Toyo’s on my Ram 3500 for about seven years and haven’t had a flat (knock on wood). Test fit a set of 37’s on recent video. They’re the same as on my dodge, but debating on how much lift to go with. I like low center of gravity builds, but the 4.5” springs on yours looks stable in all your videos. I did notice. My bump stops have been quite active as I’m always hauling one or two kayaks.
Last question…Did you feel like you lost anything by going with the ARB stubby, losing the fog lights? I’ve been thinking about just running the wires to a set of driving lights like I have on my Ram’s ARB bull bar.
Don't really miss the fog lights. 👍
Can you please post the link or model number of your Milwaukee storage box ? Thanks. They look awesome.
Awesome set up! I currently run with a bed rack and want to move up with a camper. How much weight support is the camper rated and does keep dust and water completely out?
I'm wondering if you are exceeding the payload capacity of the Gladiator and what your GVWR is with passengers? Do you have any concerns about braking or overheating?
When's the grizzly wrap coming??
Very nice gladiator set up. I like the way Expedition one rear bumper looks on your gladiator. I see on their site you can get the kit to relocation the camera and backup sensors. Did you do both of these and if so how did it work out. Thanks.
Yeah I have those, they work fine although the camera bracket crops your view a bit.
Awesome truck.
I think that Smartcap ruins the look of the Gladiator. But yeah, you got a safe storage, and that's a good thing when going around with these stuffs.
how do you like the e-adapt shocks ? - does it provide enough flexibility for all your adventures (serious offroadiung -> FSR, camping, etc..) ?
Yes, so far they are great, although I think the adjustability is not really necessary for most of my uses.
Great jeep walk around 👍quick question with the items you currently have in the walk around video are you under payload weight or a tad over?
Gotta be over. Don’t expect him to confirm that though ;)
Love your adventures. Was wondering what Air Compressor you use to air up.
ARB dual compressor mounted under the passengers seat and Speedflate system.
Hahaha ..out of nowhere the bear haha
Been waiting for this video !
look forward to know more about the radio..is it a HAM or GMRS radio?
Looked it up.. UHF/VHF/FM
Programmable for a ton of configurations.. 2500-3000 grand for the bundle.. ouch!
Beautiful loadout, I’m hoping this convinces my wife to let me upgrade to the Jackery 1500!
Not a Jeep guy, but if I got one this is exactly how I’d do it.
Always wonder what happened to gladiator?
Hi Shaun for your radio set up did you happen to get a amateur radio license?
What size lift do you have on the gladiator? And have you done any modifications to the engine? Love the channel!
4.5" lift, no engine mods other than snorkel intake.
How do you maintain the truck against rust?
You just bear-ly made it to the end of the video :-)
I'd say this rig is loaded for bear, but it's ready for alot more than that! What a beast!
