Bearded ginger is an entertaining add to this video.
"I dunno if I should have driven this." lol next episode: "I bought a new Eco Diesel Gladiator!"
Its inevitable. #diesellife
@@Casey250 Casey is not wrong Shaun. Accept your fate - call it a 100k subscriber reward :)
I know I'm loving mine so far! It's only a matter of time for Shaun. Soon...😈
@@Casey250 after seeing your last video, Casey where you mentioned if you did it all over again it would be the Gladiator in Diesel. You thinking of making the jump? I'm currently in a JTR w/ 3.6L and 37's. It's great, except now it's sluggish and range sucks... Thinking of moving to the 3.0 just not sure in the JL or JT. Thinking JT after your video.
@@afdude2220 We will see how the year goes and what Jeep has in store for 2022. For me, if your into overlanding and light to moderate off roading then I think the JT edges out the JL because you can keep RTT weight lower and carry more cargo. If you want to build something more extreme then the JL and probably skip the diesel. However, we are kind of splitting hairs as the ecodiesel JL is still an awesome overland platform that is very very capable, I just don't like the idea of being 7ft 6" tall with a roof top tent and that limits me with using the ferry on and off the island.
Just got my 2021 Diesel Gladiator last week and I love it! Might start looking into this lift kit you added
Yeah. Guy here in Calgary owns a JTR gas and had to lift 3" and add 37s to make it like a JLUR as far as wheelin capabilities go. Careful though 37's are hard on rear axle flanges.
Best overlanding channel out there glad to see you are moving up so fast!
I just got mine Shaun after waiting 10 weeks and four days. The power is fantastic. Effortlessly get to highway speed and doesn't struggle to keep you there.
Holding off till I see the 100,000 mile review, if it happens.
Everytime I get tempted to switch from the tacoma to a gladiator this is what I think about. The price is also a pretty steep increase over the tacoma.
@@Jtwizzle Same, except I drive the Xterra/Frontier platform. That... and the whole it being 100% paid off and 90% the way I want it set up.
So far my eco JT is pushing 40s and purring like a kitten. It also comes with a 100k mile warranty from the factory
@@Jtwizzle stick with the Yoda.
Stick with the Taco. It will always get you to the trails and back with zero issues.
I just drove an eco diesel Gladiator today... absolutely awesome!
My wife gets the 392 JL, Daddy gets the Diesel JT.💪🏼🇺🇸
Great video buddy, we had a lot of fun with you and the boys at Epic. Can't wait to take it out wheeling with you guys soon!
Hey guys, wondering if ya'll have any ideas about an equivalent shop here in Australia that does what you guys do???
Thanks for putting this together! Keep up the great work!
Man that Jeep looks great. Good job guys.
"Overloading" Love it!
the stance and overall aesthetic is awesome
I have almost this exact same build. Great job on the video, and the build. Love the King shocks!
Great video, interesting build! How did it change the payload & towing numbers overall?
I love my gladiator it’s currently stock because i havent decided what to get and those wheels and tires look like a solid option
Just wanted to say GREAT work on growing this channel! I subbed around 20k (i think?) subscribers for you wondering "why the hell doesn't this guy have more views and subs" - glad to see you growing, the video quality is INSANELY awesome & fun to watch!
Awesome man!!! That beast looks amazing!
nice built 👌
for us here in Switzerland it would make about 20k difference between the gladiator and the Tacoma. so when my raptor is fucked up anyday, I’ll go for a tacoma😂
you have the hilux in Switzerland instead of the tacoma I think
@@alanmay7929 we can get the hilux from normal dealer. all the US modells can only be bought by specialised import dealer.
*Note to self. Never buy Rubicon takeoffs from Epic adventure outfitters...😂
That dudes a beast. I’m a big strong guy and even I make sure my jeeps pretty low to lift my 37s on. He tossed those on like they were a donut out of a civic
Just utilizing all my added Covid leverage 😂
@@TheEPICBeardedGinger you’re filling them with helium arnt ya 😂
It’s the “ginger rage” that makes it look so easy. It wears down as it turns gray or platinum ginger as my wife refers to me. 😂
Looks awesome!!
Really like the build!! Just a little out of my price range right now and I still need to haul a 6000lb travel trailer. So for now I will stick with my stock 2020 power wagon. It goes places I have no business going. Again Really nice build!!
Shaun i cant thank you enough for this christmas gift! Love you bro....✌
Nice truck and the Epic Adventure Outfitters do professional work.
Yes mate! Jeep build, another bit of engaging content from you! Gold.
"You don't run out of power". Perfect.
One more Gladiator to the family♥️
How was the mpg or l/km after the lift
Just Ordered one!! Last week 💪👍
I think I need to get to the dealer and get one ordered. 🙈 thanks a lot Shaun.🥺😞🤫
Take care of yourself and stay safe.🍻🎄
This thing is my dream truck!!!
That's so sweet . Bravo on video on Epic build outstanding 🙌🙌🙌 💪👍👍👍
Great video, did you guys change the stock 3.73 gearing? not sure if I missed that in the video.
That's A Beautiful Jeep
So which EVO suspension did you use for this build. I'm trying to figure it out for my own Ecodiesel Gladiator, but there's 4 or 5 stages on the 2.5 inch alone.
This video makes me want to bring my 3.6 Gladiator into Epic for an upgraded suspension. But I’m an American and thus not allowed in the country currently. Although my boat is in Sidney BC being serviced this week.
You could ship it to us ;-) Happens all the time!
sweet rig!
Awesome truck. I want one !
So I'm a total novice to all of this. Could anyone tell me if/how much this lift and bigger tire combo would affect towing? Thanks!
Hey! love this setup man so rad. what’re the wheels that you got? I wanna get those on mine
Hello from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷! I have a question!! for that type of suspension and tires that is more weight, you have to change the gears ⚙️ of both differentials ?
"Always thinking how sad Richards life is" hahaha well its gonna be exciting af now!
I roll coal in a Crystal Granite 2022AEV Rubicon Gladiator and absolutely adore getting 23MPG on 37's
Ur subscribers keep going up everytime I look at it lol you’re awesome!
Can you guys elaborate on the chopping and whether it will void the factory warranty? Just curious, thanks!
Only part that gets cut is a bolt to get it out without removing the entire exhaust system, then the new bolt is installed the opposite direction.
@@TheEPICBeardedGinger Thank you!
"for the power and options you get..." Forgets to mention $70k price tag with all the goodies. Hell buy two Tacoma's at that level. That said still enjoy the channel and vids!
Tacoma with all the goodies is $60,000 Canadian roughly. So that extra 10k is mostly the engine. Choosing the gas gladiator rubicon puts you right around where the Tacoma Pro is.
@@gs98999 60 k? Maybe for a Pro over sticker, the TRD off road is around 40 if your going brand new
@@NORTHSHOREEDITS the 60k cad is roughly 47k usd
@@NORTHSHOREEDITS Tacoma Pro is $59,000 msrp on Toyota.ca, before tax. Off road premium is $49,000 before tax. But then there are much cheaper gladiator trims too compared to rubicon. I’m not sure what USA prices are if thats where you live. But your $70k rubicon price is basically right on for a loaded diesel one in Canada. Another thing to keep in mind is that you can get $7-8k off a gladiator pretty easily whereas on a Pro Tacoma there is no discounts. Regular off road taco you can get 2-3k off at most. So prices are pretty compatible in the end.
@@gs98999 dude this truck cost 96 grand.... WITHOUT TAX it’s an epic build but come on, I got into a TRD off road for 43 brand new with tax...
I need this in my life! On 40's though...
Very cool video Shaun. I think the Ecodiesel is calling your name... lol
Now I want one !! 🤦♂️.. thanks guys. Great video!
Didn't know you're Vancouver based but this is sweet . Subbed ! I'm semi - local . White Rock Dodge always has good stuff in stock .
Sweet ride😊
I like the wheel choice; what are they?
Sean in your opinion for the off-roading you do would the 2.5 in lift be ok or you would still prefer the 4.5
For me, 4.5 is the minimum to have a reasonable breakeven angle.
Where do you fit the spare with 37s, curious what's the best alternative since it won't fit anymore under the bed?
Pretty sure I saw this thing sitting outside at the dealership the other day. Almost broke my neck staring at it! Looks so mean!
Take care of that neck.
I got my first 2014 jk rubicon from rich back at Langley chrysler... loved every bit of it and been a little skeptical about the new gladiator.....but after watching this video and the new diesel.. mind's made up and I got to have 1. Rich I'm coming to see you :)
Love it! I get my eco diesel 6-5-21😎👍
So cool!!
Oh baby! That's sweet! 💕😮
Good for you
Nice looking Gladiator 👍👍👍👍
So translating this to a Frankenlift using Teraflex parts. I've noticed you guys use the sport arms with no drop brackets on those, but drop brackets on this one and no aftermarket arms. Does that mean that the aftermarket arms and drop brackets are both for geometry correction? I'm doing a lift in stages and would like to do drop brackets first then a full control arm swap later rather than swap a pair of arms now then swap them again later.
Love the intro👍💯😉
👏 KUDOS TO ALL THE WORKERS , WHAT WORKMANSHIP 👏👏👏💯💯💯💯
Amazing THANK YOU for actually showing them at work....WOW‼️‼️‼️
Dude....this is SICK! Do you have a preference for King? I’ve been going back between them and Icons 20up Stage8. What’s your take?
First time I've ever driven on kings but I'd have to take it offroad to really tell. I'm running fox 2.0s on mine.
Damn nice rig. Great job. 🐸
Does it need alignment after upgrading and changing all that part?
Yes. Absolutely. Any time you change the height of a vehicle
Just got a 2021 Gladiator Overland and am wondering what I should do first.
“I don’t know why anyone would buy a Tacoma at this point” *five Tacoma owners dislike video*
Not this Taco owner! I need one of these in my life for sure.
@@justinforrest221 Yessir!! They look pretty awesome!
10 now.
Yeah haha I’m not hating on Toyotas they are definitely awesome trucks but man I couldn’t think of any other reason why anyone would dislike this awesome video!
The eco diesel is known for being very unreliable. That’s reason alone for getting a Tacoma over one.
como se llama ese tipo de suspencion ? y que precio tiene el cambio de todo ese proceso ?
Was regearing to 4.56 necessary at all for this build? I’m looking to do a similar lift/tire upgrade
IMO, the diesels don't need a regear.
EVO manufacturing hands down best lifts hands down!!!
did you regear for the 37's? if so, which gear ratio? i have the Rubicon eco.
Hi Shaun, may I ask you which is your main camera?
Great now I want an evo diesel 😂 thanks a lot
You know it's going to be good when there's a sawzall being used on a brand new vehicle 😂😂
Hi, when can we bring ours?
What's the ballpark on all those mods? I got a zr2 and any mods on this thing cost a fortune and void the warranty lol
Reliability and resale value
It looks like it takes as much work to fit those wide 37s on the gladiator as it does 33s on a tacoma!
Have seen quite a few issues on the ecodiesels so that is a bit of a bummer.
gladiators have the 3rd gen eco diesel, problems are apparently solved
I'm running 37s on my stock gladiator...
They literally swapped out a few suspension components. A shade tree mechanic on his back can do this in 5-6 hours
@@mattbrew11 That is the point. It takes the same or less effort and could probably be done with fewer/no mods at all. Tacomas can be a pita to fit larger tires without rubbing.
@@Jtwizzle you can fit 40s on the JT and JT platform with a similar amount of work, if you’ve got the money for axles too
Everything was tightened prior to lower it on the ground?
No we figured it would tighten itself while driving.
where can i get my truck done like that i like it
What's a setup like this cost, the upgrades that is?
can you put that kit on a gas gladiator or is there one just for the gas version
Love my gladiator. It’s a gasser, I find it plenty quick with the 4.10s and smaller tires but I won’t get bigger than a 33 because I know it will be a dog. The eco diesel would be awesome.
Mine on 37s gets 400km a tank on highway and accelerates great. Stock 4 10 gears.
I got 35’s on mine. Very little difference in performance than when I had 285/70/17’s.
Good to know! One day I may do a bigger lift with 35s then after all.
Perfection with gear and know how 2 due it professionally 10+++!!! REALLY, $$$$
Was that the v6 eco diesel or the 4 pot?
Ginger makes me feel better about not having alot of fancy gear. I love the overloading comment lol
Damn this shit went Hollywood!
Get one Shaun!
What song is playing during the flex ramp test??? It's a sick sound
what's the axle gearing?
If you could do it over again would you get eco diesel or go gasoline gladiator
If I had the choice right now I'd get the diesel for sure.
@@TheStoryTillNow I'm thinking of trading in my gladiator maxtow for diesel gladiator
Can you share the info on this build again? I don’t see it any longer! Thanks!
Is it tuned and deleted?
I’d never buy a gladiator over my Tacoma but I love watching these gladiator builds
Each vehicle has its place and are both a blast to own and explore with.
@@mattbrew11 and I guarantee you have neither trucks lmao
@@jonc7371 I have a diesel Sport S gladiator on 40s with a one ton axle swap. For a $5000 wager I’m willing to provide all the proof
@@mattbrew11 youre shitting on tacomas with a sport s?? lmaoooo save your money pal
@@jonc7371 my truck is a one ton version of a Rubicon.
The Ginger speaks!
Sick
How do the kings hold up in BC weather?
That depends how you take care of your vehicle.
Glad you let Christian speak , great entertainment along with the build
He's great on camera. Would be crime to silence him. 🤣
Could you ask Epic to give us a price all in for this mod? Asking for a friend. Love the videos.

Can you send me a link for this lift kit?
