Love the video and the honesty! I have followed your journey and went back and watched some of the earlier videos as well. Glad you were able to meet up with Coddiwomple Overland recently as well on the journey that my company, Dan Cummins Off road, was able to help out with! Hopefully we can get together some time as a group!
Thanks for the comment! Sorry you had to go back and watch some old videos, it’s hard for me to watch them sometimes lol. Do you guys sell new vehicles??
Awesome video buddy, I have a Gladiator and been seeing other overlanders install a ton of equipment that they claim is necessary for overlanding. I like your set up and now that I got my wife the 392 I can distribute the load and enjoy the ride.
I see you have the fridge and battery in the back and you said you had two kids. one that still requires a car seat, how do they fit? I have a set of twins and like your fridge set up in the back.
We got rid of the gladiator because of the kids. The backseat is cramped as it is and it’s not doable for us. Our son is 12 and trying to get them both back there comfortably was impossible. We went with the power wagon and never looked back.
I'm with you. I took the same bumper from my 2020 Wrangler JL, and moved it over to my 2021 Gladiator. Why pay for a bumper twice, when it was already built into the cost of your sticker price on your new jeep? lol
I’m just asking not to say your choice is wrong so what made you go for the gladiator over the wrangler I’m asking cuz I’m curious on if one is a little better then the other or just wanting something different
Well for a while we actually had both. We had a 2020 wrangler rubicon that we took on a lot of trips across the country and then we had our daughter which meant we were going to need more space for additional items that come with a baby, but we didn’t want to stop traveling. Having the gladiator gives us more space for extra items and only sacrifices a little off-road capability in terms of break over angle and departure angle. So, we decided to go all in on the gladiator and we recently traded our wrangler for a Subaru Outback wilderness. Hope that was helpful.
@@roamingwithjosh yes it was I’ve been going back and forth with this one thanks for the help hope y’all had an amazing trip with the family love the video as well

It’s a vector off-road E dock
how have you managed weight relative to GVWR?
I managed it by trading it in for a power wagon!
@@roamingwithjosh very logical
Have you re-geared since going to the 37’s? Love the build, very functional.
Not yet. It’s on the list for the winter. Thanks, dude!
maybe i missed it, but did you mention if you have re geared? if so what gears did you go with?
I have not re geared yet. I’m going to 4.88 when I do. That will be a winter project.
