Every year on the last day of school my dad would bring his Alice Cooper CD and we would circle the school, windows down, blasting this song. It always kind of embarrassed me; I would hunch down in my seat, but I also secretly loved it. Every year on the last day when he’d pick me up I’d ask if he remembered to bring his Alice Cooper CD. He did, without fail. He passed away when I was 14, 10 years ago. Flash forward to two years ago: I’m graduating from college. Even though it was an exciting day for me, I couldn’t help feel sad that my dad wasn’t able to be there. After the ceremony, I’m driving myself home. This song comes on the radio and within a second I’m in tears. I’ve never been one to believe in signs, or at least I’ve never thought that anything was a clear sign from my dad. This song was the one song my Dad requested me to play at home on the vinyl in the 70s. He'd laugh and laugh. Dad was the principal of an elementary school. Here's another round, Dad, with Alice, your fav rock star. Love ya Dad, Love ya Alice.

God bless you !!! I was a 17 years old when I graduated high school I'm a Thanksgiving baby I turned 19 in navy boot camp I was stationed at naval air station patuxtent river Maryland. Grew up in Long Beach. California. On ocean and cheery Muisc will bring us all together. I had alternative cd. Alit of people never heard of bush. Alice in chains. Smashing pumpkins. But in the office everybody my older co-workers liked 70 music. Lead zepplin. Ozzy.
When I graduated from high school, this was cranking out of a car radio. A couple of my relatives told me, "Welcome to the club!" As if it was right of passage

One of the first rock songs I REALLY liked, back in the early 1970S, and still do like it now! I play it every year at the end of the school year, and at other times too! Not only my favourite Alice Cooper song, but also one of my favourite all time songs too!
My grandson and I ended our year of homeschooling! Now we are relaxing listening to this great song! Homeschool due to pandemic it was great! Maybe continue next year due to all this indoctrination !
I've loved Alice Cooper's music since I was a teenager. I worked for him as a go-for when I was 18 (and didn't know what I wanted!) He was a real gentleman and nothing like his stage persona. He's a real artist and actor

@@puppyplayzyaz2533 I would spend all day the first day of summer playing this on guitar hero. Now that the controller broke and I got a real guitar I'm learning this to keep that going.
I'm watching this because I'm a teacher, and soon to be ex teacher. Two more days to go, and never again! YEAH!!! :))) (That's not a comment on the kids, but on the system and my non-adaptive personality, to be clear.)
I used to play it for my kids on the last day of school more than 40 years ago. I sent it to one of my grandsons today, with the caveat that it was done in more innocent times.

I finished high school in 1971. The following year, School's Out was released. We all just loved this song. I remember partying and singing along with this song and we all yelled out "School's out FOREVER" WOW! Talk about old memories. Go Alice.. His shows were always great.
My very first concert in 1973 was Alice Cooper; it was the Billion Dollar Babies concert, and of course he played this song which was the theme song of all 18-year-olds (including me) at the time. It's interesting to note that it still holds relevance today, and even more relevance in 2020 due to the Corona virus. School's been blown completely.

The greatest school graduation song of all time. 1972 the year I enlisted in the Army.
God bless you !!!
I was a 17 years old when I graduated high school
I'm a Thanksgiving baby I turned 19 in navy boot camp
I was stationed at naval air station patuxtent river Maryland. Grew up in Long Beach. California. On ocean and cheery
Muisc will bring us all together.
2024
Showing this song to my 9year old son.
He just finished 4th grade, but he is in a new school, that he do not like too much and he was adapting, so to celebrate that he finished: SCHOOL OUT FOR SUMMER!!!🎉
¡Saludos desde Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷😎
One of the first rock songs I REALLY liked, back in the early 1970S, and still do like it now! I play it every year at the end of the school year, and at other times too! Not only my favourite Alice Cooper song, but also one of my favourite all time songs too!
man they do not make music like this today, I wish this stuff is aweome
Only if you dig really deep
When your taste for music change, the music you taste will change
My grandson and I ended our year of homeschooling! Now we are relaxing listening to this great song! Homeschool due to pandemic it was great! Maybe continue next year due to all this indoctrination !
I hope you played this track as well at the end of the year. To broaden his mind
I've loved Alice Cooper's music since I was a teenager. I worked for him as a go-for when I was 18 (and didn't know what I wanted!) He was a real gentleman and nothing like his stage persona. He's a real artist and actor
A true entertainer!...his concerts are actually his own personal theatrical plays based upon his music and songs
You have such a profound impact on my career that even the biggest thank you text would fall shout to express my gratitude... Thanks for your support ❤️, if you're really a huge fan of me drop your WhatsApp number I'll text you myself 😊
2019 SCHOOL YEAR IS OVER!!!!! I ALWAYS end up back here every year school gets out..😂

Wooosh Farmer same my mums like BRUV U LISTEN TO THAT EVERY YEAR -_-
@@puppyplayzyaz2533 I would spend all day the first day of summer playing this on guitar hero. Now that the controller broke and I got a real guitar I'm learning this to keep that going.
Now it’s starting
It's a vibe to listen at the start of summer break
ㅎ 빌어먹을...이 곡 들은지도 50년이 지났고 지금 들어도 열정과 에너지가 충만해지네.🌸🌸🌸
I bet all the dislikes are teachers
Ariel lol all the teachers are just as excited to get out
I'm watching this because I'm a teacher, and soon to be ex teacher. Two more days to go, and never again! YEAH!!! :))) (That's not a comment on the kids, but on the system and my non-adaptive personality, to be clear.)
Ariel oh yeah yeah
I am a teacher and I just played it for my world history class! Been playing this at this time of year since 1974....
The teachers are happier to get out than the students!
Alice Cooper makes it so easy to love him:) The first time you see him perform and you learn why he is "Alice Cooper"
I used to play it for my kids on the last day of school more than 40 years ago. I sent it to one of my grandsons today, with the caveat that it was done in more innocent times.

You have such a profound impact on my career that even the biggest thank you text would fall shout to express my gratitude... Thanks for your support ❤️, if you're really a huge fan of me drop your WhatsApp number I'll text you myself 😊
i have 22 hours left before my 63 anniversary - maybe i ll spend this time with listening this song over and over again - i love it so much
I was 11 years old when this was released As soon as I heard it I got a bad attitude Im going on 63 now and I still have a chip on my shoulder.
Thanks Vince
One of the most avant garde Rockers in history.....Alice Cooper busted down the door for the rest to follow.
Absolutely agree. Saw two of his concerts and both were cool as hell. A massive live snake coiling around Alice's neck .... that was something else.
as soon as i am done with school every day i play this song
This song was released the day I graduated from high school... CLASS of 73 !
Priya Boparai what. that doesn’t make any sense
I finished high school in 1971. The following year, School's Out was released. We all just loved this song. I remember partying and singing along with this song and we all yelled out "School's out FOREVER"
WOW! Talk about old memories. Go Alice.. His shows were always great.
School ended a hour ago lets goo
For my Nephew graduating today, good job mate, you made it thru hell, don't look back
Will forever be one of the greatest songs of all time!!!
This song was released whilst I was at school - it still rocks today - rock on Alice.
As long as Alice stays in the remarkable shape he is in, he can trot out on a stage and do this for all eternity !!!!
@alicecooper9553 Glad to finally meet you. It only took 50 years. 😉
I'm on an Alice Cooper kick... What an awesome performance!
The second concert I attended was Lighthouse, Steppenwolf, and Alice. I can't begin to describe how amazing it was.
Yearly tradition! Goodbye junior year, hello senior year!
