My grandfather(s) served in Vietnam. One passed away about three years ago, and just hearing the bagpipes hurts since he was Scottish. God bless his soul..you will be forever missed.
In 1968 I was sent to Vietnam, and in 1969 I returned home, to my wife and 13 month old daughter. Yes, she was 3 months old when I left. I have NEVER taken for granted how privileged and blessed I am for the life I was allowed to live. So many young men and women never got that chance! Even now, whenever I see photos like these, I instantly become overwhelmed by the enormous sense of loss, for the lives that were never lived, for children who had to grow up without their fathers or mothers, for wives who were left without the one they loved, for families who would never again have the enjoyment of these people at family gatherings. All of this brings tears streaming down my face and I do not care who sees me. Only God knows how much my heart breaks every Memorial Day. I don't believe I've been the same since coming home.

“The art of war”
From Turkey , great heroes who have sacrificed their lives to protect the Country of God . US is always the last resort for humanity and these brave souls have fallen for a great cause , to protect our freedoms . Our prays will always be with them , they will always live in our hearts . The good deeds we can do will honor their memories . God Bless this great Country , May them all rest in peace
Anyone who lives in America and gave this a thumbs down , needs to have a little talk with Jesus .
We agree. And Jesus said, (John 15:13) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Amen to that my friend ... AMEN !
They can't cuz they rant to Mohammed.
And if that don't do it, GET OUT!!!!!

Airborne!
Who says they were Scottish bagpipe's, they originated in North Africa and were brought to Europe by the Celts. The Hymn was written by Newton, a Slaver who later became a slave himself, before becoming an Anglican.

I have a grandfather that was an F4 Phantom II pilot that flew under the command of the legendary Colonel Robin Olds. He flew with the 8th Tactical Fighter Wing out of Ubon, Thailand. He recently passed away and this song was played at his funeral. He was my biggest inspiration to pursue aviation and still is. He watched me fly solo for the first time and died shortly after that. I know everytime i go up, hes right there in the plane with me, keeping me safe. Grandpa, i know your watching over me and over all of the family, guide me to reach my goals and I wont let you down! Guide me safely as I fly through the skies and dont let me give up!
