The Skyrim Killer | The Case of Rocky Rambo Wei Nam Kam

  • Rocky Rambo Wei Nam Kam was an odd fellow, very fond of video games, especially Skyrim. So, when one day a well respected physical therapist failed to show up for work, an investigation of her house would lead to a horrific discovery. The hunt was one, by when discovered he had nothing to say. He just loved to chomp loudly.

TBH That would probably be me as well in that situation, not because I'm super cool and together or anything, but because my immediate reaction to anything strange or dangerous is, "Oh god... Am I imagining this shit?" and nervously putting on the calmest face possible so people don't judge the guy talking calling 911 about "nothing" too harshly for potentially wasting the dispatcher's time... even if it's rationally demonstrable that it's a bad situation. It wasn't out of anger or passion or revenge or avarice, he didn't even know the victims. There was a load of things that he did that just make no sense. Why would you leave the murder weapon at the scene of the crime with the barcode on which would allow police to trace it back to where it was bought from?
The attack itself is horrific, cutting somebody's throat and stabbing somebody else dozens of times speaks of somebody that's very angry or very disturbed. It's like he can't admit to himself that he's done it and doesn't even provide a reason as to why he did it. Tbh I don't entirely blame the roommate for reacting like that. I'll bet he was hounded by reporters constantly and was probably being harassed, threatened and online. Idk how many times I've seen people on social media go after friends/family/close people to murderers just bc they happen to know them. Like commenting on their profiles shit like "how's it feel to have known a murderer for so long", "I'll bet you're a piece of shit too", "how could you not know" and blame them and threaten them and their families despite not having a thing to do with it. I once saw a bunch of people on fb dog pile random people that just happened to have commented on a couples Facebook picture from years ago. The way He held his composer in a frightening/emotional situation, his ability to clearly relay vital information about the victims, what he was seeing/saw to the dispatcher. I always fear that these random acts of violence could happen to a loved one of mine. My ex thought I was delusional and overly paranoid because I gave her a knife to protect herself when I'm not around, my reasoning was "you never know when some random person walking down the street will decide to just wipe you out for no other reason than to feel what killing feels like."
I mean come on, the way Rocky told his story was very similar to how one would act in a game. It's like the guy just saw some random couple and decided to test out his new battle axe and long sword on the local NPCs.
My point is, as rare as it may be, something completely random and senseless could happen to you or someone you love. It's okay to be a little paranoid about it and take precautions to protect yourself and those you love.

Everyone is talking about Diana, but what about her disabled husband who was stabbed 100 times? Like her death is a tragedy, but so is his.
Edit: Not really sure why so many people are getting bent about this comment. Just pointing out how two people got murdered but there was only grief shown for one victim. I'm sure Diana was a brilliant woman. But the fact that it seems very few people show much empathy for her husband who was disabled and vulnerable, saw his wife murdered and then was stabbed 100 times while being helpless is very disappointing. And the comments disparaging me for mentioning it are both disappointing and quite repulsive.

I think in the interview he says in Cantonese something like, "crazy. I didn't kill anyone, why should I be sorry to them? If one did kill someone then one should apologise. Crazy." I think he was saying that because he knew he was being recorded. Probably somehow thought when the police heard him saying it to himself they would suddenly believe it. He really doesn't seem too bright.
