Would love to see a 'How to Clean A Traeger Flatrock Griddle' video too. There are so many cleaning videos out there, but I think the Flatrock surface is a bit different than most of the other griddles.
I use my griddle almost weekly even through the winter and it’s only happened twice. As long as I don’t put cold water on it after it’s been on for a while. it went back to normal after a few seconds when it did warp. It might not be a major issue for him to mention, especially for a seasoning video
You need to tell your nationwide sales staff to quit hyping/harping about the 5 yr warranty (it covers the Grill base and legs) selling it to people. All other parts of grill are 1 year.
Thanks Ryan, yeah some of those microfiber towels are linty and the griddle is a bit rough. I was fortunate to use one that didn't shed. Happy Griddling, Chef Jason

Curious why there are more steps in this video than there are in the Seasoning Your Flatrock video from Traeger.
I have a very tried and true system I do for seasoning. Neither one is wrong, although I think mine has a slight edge. :-). Chef Jason

I will say, use as little oil as you can per seasoning session. Just enough to barely cover the metal
you are correct. Thanks for watching, Chef Jason
Followed this to a T. Dont use microfiber unless you want to eat microfiber.

Also because they melt. Use a good cotton towel.
@@ELEVOPR I used paper towels once the griddle was hot. Not the microfiber. Chef Jason
