    With dents like this, I don’t know a way to get them out without soaking the card. It worked like magic.
    Drying the card is the real magic. I break it down in the video. This is a fun process to learn, you can do this with any base card to get the soaking and drying process down.
    Happy Sunday 🤘🏼

    Hey Kurt! Thanks for all your videos and responses you provide us with!
    I’m having trouble with certain scratches that never fully disappear but only become less noticeable. Can card soaking and pressure plates provide any help to chrome scratches?

      I recently purchased a bunch of bowman chrome University. And it seems like almost every card has some small scratch. Also, if there’s a small dent. Is the only option to soak the entire card?

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  Місяць тому

      @@joselyngarcia7243 unfortunately I bet those are gonna be permanent. It’s annoying that the manufacturer produces scratched cards. You said it perfectly, you can reduce them a little bit, but they must be cut in there and that’s as far as it’s gonna go. Don’t bother soaking them, that’s just for dirty cards or something with a big dent. If you need to take a look, shoot me a picture on Instagram or email me through my website. I’m always happy to help out.

    Hey Kurt - love watching your videos and process. I have a topps chrome logofractor 1/1 that came out of the pack with what looks like a finger nail dent on the back and was so bummed out. Naturally I'm super nervous to put a 1/1 in liquid solution of any kind. Any thoughts?

      I totally understand that. Have you taken a picture and sent it to Topps? Maybe they would fix it for you or replace it. Something that important shouldn’t come damaged.

    Hi, Kurt. I notice that you do a lot of changing out your mats when drying a card after a full soak. Do you clean your mats after each use, or just let them air dry and re-use? If you do clean them, is it a hand wash, or is the material strong enough to be thrown in the wash machine?

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  3 місяці тому +1

      Good question, I let it dry and then I reuse it

    If I were to soak a card and not empty the card spray, can I use that same spray for another card

    Hey Kurt! Quick question. In what instances would you use this method vs the humidor/small amount of cars spray/cars tool method?

    • @kurtscardcare
      @kurtscardcare  3 місяці тому +1

      When it’s a plastic finish like this. Because Card spray won’t penetrate this plastic coat. It won’t do anything when applied on top of the issue. These are too severe for humidity. So when a card is totally jacked up like this and it’s a prism/optic. I think this is a good opportunity to try this.

      Last question. Is a mosaic stained glass similar to this back coating? I have a mosaic stained glass card with similar marks and damage on its back surface as the one shown in this video. Would you recommend this method?

    • @kurtscardcare

      @@joselyngarcia7243 good question, I think it would be very similar. Remember, if you wanna give it a test run you can buy a cheap Stainglass card and practice first. You can reuse the spray it will not be dirty.
