@@pokemonwonderLLC whats your recipe you use? I just bought the stuff to do it yesterday and gonna test it out. Im curious on a few things do you have to face the card a certain way depending which way the dent is pushed in? What percentage humidity do you use ? How long do you do it for? And do you clamp in between the pexie glass after you do it and if so how long do you clamp them for?
Obviously im gonna test on cheap cards first! But im just curious where to start maybe smooth out a few errors i do a head of time. I appreciate it!
Obviously im not expecting to remove creases and stuff like that but binder ring dings finger nail dings and slight lipped corners is what i wanna do! Lol my local card shop has a minty birthday pika chu for like 40$ cause the one corner is barley rolled at all and if i could buy that get it out get a mint birthday pickachu for 40$ for my PC that be pretty awesome! Great question. Put a penny sleeve at the bottom of the humidor. I use the oversize 5 x 7 penny sleeves because I don’t want to put the card directly on the floor of the humidor. Don’t put plates in the humidor, but if you use plates always protect the surface of the card with a penny sleeve. A card can stick to the plates. Great questions. 🤘🏼

    1) Can you post a video showing how you crack open slabs?
    2) How do you decide which grading company(BGS or PSA) to send them into? Does it matter which company the card was originally graded by?

Great question and good observation. I use the card tool every day on a variety of little things. But when it comes to vintage cards and I’m doing moisture first, that usually takes care of all the things that the tool would do. However, I will work on little things with it on vintage. Check out this video. It’s a Goudey and I do use it to get the wrinkles down a little bit further.

For sure, those little suckers can be frustrating. When the card is totally dry, don’t soak it again, but just do little light applications of Card spray on the remaining creases. If they’ll go away, this is this time to do it. Sometimes they just get better and that’s the best you can do. I rarely get 100% improvement on the surface when they are noticeable to begin with. But I can always make them look better. 🤙🏼

@@kurtscardcare I know brotha. Just purchased a kit last week. Having the hardest time getting what you make look easy off a couple Bowman chrome cards. Lol you could always use them in a tutorial so I and others can know for the future.

@@jt5515 those chrome cards are like scratch off lotto tickets. Sometimes they work with your other times they're losers. Use the polish on the front and back. Do 8 to 10 applications over any trouble area. After that, you'll know that you have the card looking as good as it's gonna get. If you ever need another set of eyes on something, send me a message on Instagram. I'll always reply.
