👉🏾This WAS NOT a good interview and I was so bothered watching this. 😮It was so rude the way she would ask a question then step all over top of Kenan’s answers. She rushed every response Kenan gave. We spent more time listening to her thoughts than we did his responses. I have worked in tv/film for over 13 years professionally, with over 15 years semi professionally, in addition to majoring in journalism in college and can say this was one of the worst interviews I’ve seen from a tv show host. For fans of Kenan watching, this was such a disappointment for a subject we truly wanted to hear his uninterrupted words on. Smh

This needs to be an SNL skit of her running him over in this interview (freaking hilarious and funnier because it is unintentionally funny), asking a question, let's him answer for a second, then she speaks over him again with a ton of giggles, and asking over and over again "so you trust people?.... so you trust people?...So, you still trust people?"

This video is the perfect encapsulation of why UA-cam and podcasts are slowly destroying traditional TV. Everything on these shows has a very specific amount of time it needs to fill. You can't just have a natural, free-flowing conversation. In this case, I'm guessing the reason Hoda seemed especially rushed was that some other segment had gone over its time, and this already brief interview was forced to be hurried along even more to make up for it.

Kenan is the heart and soul of SNL. He's the reason that I started watching it again years ago, and one of the reasons that I'm still hooked on it. When he leaves, I'm sure many of the cast members will comment on how great he was as a character/comedic actor. He will definitely get his flowers.

He’s just chill people. He’s not annoyed and she’s not talking over him, it’s a healthy dialogue. He’s relaxed and not defensive, maybe guarded but who isn’t?! He works SNL, maybe he isn’t a morning person.

For all of the comments saying she's rushing the interview by talking over him, they only have so much time and to get all the questions she wants in she has to keep the interview moving.

When I first saw the title of the video, I thought it was literally saying that Kenan and Kel had a breakup, and ended their friendship which would have been really sad. Glad to see that they're cool and whatever issues they had were easy to get over.
