Robin Williams' most challenging role: sitting for 7 minutes doing nothing.
2:31 is proof
Yes, I was thinking the same. He was probably fit to be tied. Lol.
And he nailed it for comedy
Great one! lol
This is all time best array of guests.
"What's that...?"
"Uncomfortable silence...."
This segment doesn't respect anybody or anything.
"We're out of time."
"I guess we should had got some."
The fact that SNL had two LEGENDS on the show just to say almost nothing is a power move
Has to be one of their worst skits.
they had Morgan Freeman and Ernest Borgnine do the same thing... lmao... x.x
That's kind of the main joke of the skit..
yeah Boba Fett and Mothra.
its comedy. whats it based on ?
How Keenan didn’t crack when Robert DeNiro gave the most Robert DeNiro look ever at him is beyond me 😂
Guess the cameras back...ceiling???🤷
He's pretty good at sticking to the script. Probably a reason why he's the longest-tenured cast member ever.
“You messed up” got me 😂😂
@@wesmooremedia Right, that's the last thing you want De niro to say to you, lol.
😂😂
Robert De Niro : Doesn't speak a word, so as to not give Diondre a cue to make up a song
Diondre Cole : Makes up a song with 'uncomfortable silence'

LOL this is the BEST one by far
Jason Sudeikis deserves so much credit for his consistency in these skits
And the originality of those moves!
His energy is hilarious
He is faboules!!!
He's the unsung hero of these. When he jumps back into place, it's genius.
Indeed
Robin acting annoyed but tapping his feet to the music all the way through. Lovely.
Wassup with that?
He’s trying so hard not to laugh.
He’s trying so hard not to join and start dancing 😂
@Luke Gilson they were acting, it’s kinda their jobs
Spoiler alert he was deeply depressed at the time
The funniest part of this entire skit is when Keenan sings "uncomfortable sileeence" then the beat comes in and it cuts to Deniro and Williams, in which Deniro is upset but Williams is instantly vibing to the beat unbothered 😂
I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what the host would do.
Did anyone else catch that Robin Williams signed "I love you" in American Sign Language at the beginning to the audience? That moved me.
that was heartwarming
He threw the Freemason devil horns- WAKE UP
ua-cam.com/video/eZhz_SmBvIE/v-deo.html
Thanks I didn't catch that. I had to go back and look. Pretty cool 🙂
No. But verbally.
I didn't, but that is beautiful....I miss him So much.
Who's still missing Robin Williams in 2020?
Though you can really kind of sense it in his eyes here that he's bitter and consumed. Which makes this show sad in the middle of the circus. I really don't understand how nobody helped him looking transparently like that. A man with heart he was.♥️
LOL at Robin trying not to laugh
@@sofijamikarovska7384 I don't know if anyone (certainly not as many people as you think observed his pain) could've helped him.
He was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, which doesn't have a cure and essentially causes the loss of self in multiple ways.
I still miss Robin, and I probably always will. Why couldn't anyone see jow fragile he became?
God, please let Robin Williams rest in better place.
the way jason jumps into camera outta nowhere to start dancing always KILLS me, hahahhaha
ikr!!!! :) he's the best!
EVERY TIME!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I watch this only for him lol
ryanakahuss he gets a real workout!
The man's got rhythm
Seeing Keenan go all the way from All That to writing and performing his own sketches on snl with two of the biggest names in entertainment history is truly amazing.
Absolutely!! 💜
Rest in peace Robin Williams you are certainly missed❤️
It'll be 10 years next year. Still can't believe he's gone.
I love that they get some of the most renowned, famous, and skilled actors and put them in these skits where they get outshined by a man in a red tracksuit.
😂😂
Your quote outshined all the rest.
exactly what i was going to say, some of the biggest actors to hit the big screen and the SNL writers stuck 'em in a chair to stew while nearly the whole cast did ridiculous things. they were even already there from the get-go so they don't get the meta/applause for randomly appearing on stage. funny idea in a slick way.
I know! Hahaha 😂 Jason Sudeikis did the best running man/cabbage patch Ive ever seen.
@@amyelizabeth529 I love Sudeikis's gleeful enthusiasm in this character.
You can just tell Robin just wants to jump up and join in.
Right.
He does
Thas what I was thinkin!!😂😂

"No, it's real, I hear it, it's rude" KILLED me! 😆😆😆
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 me too!
De Niro's head tilt, followed by Williams' matching angle head tilt, is a sign of his subtle comedic brilliance.
Keenan was able to genuinely make Deniro smile and almost laugh when he’s supposed to be as serious as possible. That’s a high level of approval that the skit is funny.
Definitely
It wasn’t even funny
valentin armenta why are you watching then
@@valentinarmenta4982 but yet you're watching you have no sense of humor
So would you say that's HIGH PRAISE
When Robin has to act like he's not enjoying it but his feet saying something different 😂
So nice to see Robin again.
Deniro is used to playing tough roles, so he held up, lol.
Maybe those weren't taps but tremors..
Robert Deniro sure is a cranky old jerk in his old age. He is an oompaloompa.
KingKhanAbz Oh my gosh yes!! Ur so right! Thanks for that 😆
When Robert De Niro is talking and the music starts I can’t help but laugh.
Is no one going to talk about Kenan's singing? It''s pretty good!
Pretty good? It's gorgeous! 😊😍😍😍😍
Keenan deserves some major credit here! Performing flawlessly in front of two Hollywood greats and never breaking! 👍🏻
Especially considering he’s not known for keeping it together on SNL lol that’s gotta be a hard part of the job
@@Beer-can_full_of_toes my opinion was that he's done really well not breaking
Yes! Agreed. He's very underrated on SNL. Very funny & reliable.
I remember watching Keenan on Nickelodeon’s Its all that and he was the funniest one on the whole show.
RIP Robin Williams you are greatly missed.
Seriously though 💯
If “What’s Up With That” was a daily talk show, I would never miss an episode.
It’s what up!!!
Me either!❤️
Me too!;
Supposedly, it's a parody of a real show!
The uncomfortable silence line is just genius
" In my movie.. In my movie.. IN MY MOVIE...
*YOU ARE THE DVD EXTRAAAAS* "
The way she hit those rolls with her notes and shoulders simultaneously, kills me 😂😂😂😂
Is there a real song on these lyrics?
Can we all appreciate Fred Armison "playing" the sax exactly in sync with the song?
I think he plays piano, so in any case he gets musical timing and can fake it well.
It took me at least half the skit to realize that was Fred Armisen dressed up as Kenny G back there.
in every sketch
I've seen this sketch maybe 10 times over the years and I just noticed it's Fred :-)
Except Fred Armisen actually plays sax... he plays a huge range of instruments, it’s why so many of his sketch appearances will become musical.
That "uncomfortable silencEe" had me in tears
First time I saw it I was laughing for days. lol
Me too kkkkk
It's the Best part of the sketch 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Robert DeNiro: ... _(can't burst into song if we don't say anything!)_
Diondre: "Uncomfortable silence...~"

The way Jason walks off the stage is PRICELESS!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favorite part!!
Robin backing up Dinero but dancing when the music starts is so adorable
This is exactly how my brain works every time I want to focus on something and get something done
This is what I end up watching when I'm SUPPOSED to be getting stuff done!

This was such an under appreciated skit. Keenan poured his heart and soul into this sketch, and it shows every time.

I never really "got" these skits but now that I "get" it, I am laughing SO hard. Kenan is hilarious
The hardest role that Robert De Niro and Robin Williams have ever played in their entire career indeed.

i would love to pull that off! i just binge watched a load of these "whats up with that" just to watch him do his stuff!
Easily one of the most ridiculous running sketches they've done. Awesome
Diondre to Mothra "Don't get too close to the porchlight!" Took me out!!! 😂
I know this is a comedy sketch, but Kenan hitting that "G" note on the "What's Up!?" line each time is so satisfying and really impressive for not being a professional singer, its super cool tbh
It's not that impressive really... He's not a professional singer, but he's a professional actor that can sing pretty well

He has actual skills too.
Forgot to add, when he jumps on and exits the stage is hilarious, too.
Lorne Michaels: We still got 10 minutes to fill this week, and all we got left is some random unrelated costumes.

Isn’t that the entire show every week since the first season?

Is no one gonna appreciate how good Fred Armisen was playing the sax??
Yes! That clap he does before Kristen Wiig's song has me laughing
LOL he's sax-synching it, and I agree doing a good job at that.
I appreciated it. And the gals singing back up. Not sure who they are.
Sometimes he's holding it so hard because of Sudeikis dance, check out other skits
I thought it was weird Al Yankovic.
I know there's so many different things to talk about... but I can't believe that no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, talks about the talent of Keenan... he's an absolute masterclass and makes every single one of these skits possible!! His voice and facial expressions are just so spot on!! and then on top of that, Jason sudeikis's dancing, IS JUST EVERYTHING !!
This is my favorite one.
The 'important guests, but completely ignore their importance to sing instead' really shines here.
Especially because De Niro looks so annoyed.
And because Robin Williams is anything but his flamboyant self to support the skit.
And "......uncomfortable sileeeence 🎼" is just a brilliant example of 'segue into song from anything... Even from nothing'
And Kristen Wiig's skit just fits so well, musically. The band really did that transistion flawlessly
. Also, "in my own movie.... You're the DVD extras"... That's a brilliant back-handed compliment ;)
-
And the involuntary subtle 'can't control my body from moving to the rhythm' from Robin Williams, while he keeps a poker face... That's a big, big bonus :)
What’s great about this particular sketch is that it’s filled with so many distracting elements for your eyes to focus on then when you watch it multiple times and focus on each individual component in the sketch, each element has its own hilarious moments within the entirety of the sketch as a whole. Depression wasn't the cause for his suicide, but the end result. His wife stated that he had been losing control over his body and mind due to Lewy Body dementia, diagnosed after his death. According to doctors, he would have only lived a couple of years longer if he hadn't killed himself. His wife said he couldn't remember his lines in his last movie anymore and even had trouble getting his clothes on. He just didn't want to go on like that, which is quite understandable.
@@danielfisch389 Thanks for the in-depth information. Many people didn’t know that. Although, depression is still the ultimate cause for his death. Depression is a complex condition brought on to people via a plethora of avenues that can lead to it.
