2000 Toyota Sienna Lock Cylinder Change, this prosses is for cars without immobilizer. Hope this helps a lot of you. Process is similar to many Toyota cars from 95 to 2004

If this happens you have to press down on the steering wheel while slight turning it and giggle the key untill it turns... Sadly this can take up to 20 or longer to get it to turn...
Not sure really... That is a good question. If the van dont have an immobilizer you can jam a flat head and force it. I know because i got my little sentra i had got stolen and thata how they did it. However, i dont know what will happen so do it at your own risk.
I Have A 2002 Toyota Sienna Van I Had My Old Igntion Locl Cylinder Took Out And I Bought One With the Immobilzer and It Came With Keys Do I Have To Get Them Keys Programed ?
You need a code scanner that can reprogram those keys but I only seen the very expensive ones do that like snapon or Autel (cheaper brand). There is also a program called Toyota techstream but only Toyota dealers have access to but you can research it and see what happens.
You have to wiggle it until it turns when it does take it out, it might be your only chance. Before this video I actually was stuck at work and I had to play with this for about 30 minutes in the summer heat. Finally it turn and i took it out. You could dry spraying Dry lube or Graphite lubrican which you can get at home depot . Be calm don't break key in there but it will turn.
Before installing the new ignition, take it to a locksmith and rekey it to original key to have same key work for doors and ignition

What if you lost the original key so you don't have the key to turn it? If I drill out the button can I get it to pop out?

How do I remove it if they ignition got drilled and the key can't turn it now?
