  • Sometimes people just need a quick look, a sanity check, for "am I considering the right robot size?". That's where RoboGuide comes in. Watch as I pop together a quick 3D layout to verify if this M-20iD will get the job done or if we need a size bigger model. Enjoy!

Good stuff to know! It's fun to see the different fixes for palletizing situations & singularity that are being used around the industry

I am 95% sure I worked on exactly the same problem some time ago. Back then the height of the robot was fixed so I didn't find the solution. But the wedge block helped a lot.

I wish there was a feauture inside roboguide that automatically visualized all 3D regions where the robot is in singularity or has reached some sort of axis limit. Anyways, love your content!

Nice. I wish my palletizing robots were that close to the floor.

haha, don't we all :) When I heard "palletizing" and M-20iD in the same sentence, I knew it was small boxes ;)

@@AdamWillea I've got several 140Kg M410-Ib on about 8 foot risers. I think the witness marks for J4-5 are around 18 feet from the floor when it is all at zero.

@@ronunderwood8099 haha, time to break out the binoculars! (Management will think you've lost it if they see you staring at a robot with binoculars LOL)

@@AdamWillea I actually use cameras on magnetic bases. Put them on at the floor then jog to zero. Although, the video you did on mastering from the values stored in DMR_GRP is going to help a lot.

@@ronunderwood8099 Good tactic with the cameras! Glad the DMR_GRP and REF_POS tips will help!
