16 Years programming Fanuc robots and never used the Distance before or point logic command, I am glad I stumbled upon this video to explain these commands. I think I will be trying out this functionality in some of the robots we have to see if I can improve cycle time and stream line things. Thanks for the video very informative.

Thanks a lot for clearing that, just had a customer who had a problem with gluegun shutdown, that DB cleared the problem!!

Hi Adam, thanks a lot for this video and by the way also for all the others!
I started in an R&D Department with little practical robot experience and your videos really helped me getting started!
And this in particular will probably help me with some welding applications for turning on/off the welding jobs have smooth fading between the jobs.
Thanks a lot - keep up with the great work!

Thanks for all the knowledge u share with us. I would love to see a Video about iRVision Calibration - specificly about dynamic mask creation and how to set exposure time automatically.

Hi Adam, I’m the Starbucks guy that you made the video to pick up multiple objects for. Well, that cell is all finished except the HMI tags. I am looking for content on how to remove all controls from the teach pendent and controller and into an HMI. this will be done by Allen Bradley hardware and software. Thanks !

Hi Joe! Easiest way is FANUC Software option: Remote iPendant. Buy that (I think it's $750 ish at time of this comment) and then your teach pendant will show up on your Panelview HMI. You can jog, teach, program, everything from there. Good luck!

Adam - I am working with Fanuc ArcMate120iD 12L welding robot. Looking for some help measuring a part width using touch sense (2-search points one in -X and the other in +X on opposite side of each other) then take the measurement divide by 2 and have the robot weld in the center between these tow points after vitrifying the distant is correct. Assuming the width from one side to the other is (7.0926 inches (180.15204mm)). Touch sense the part from both sides to know the width then dividing that by 2 to know the distant to the center where I need to place weld points. i am thinking somewhere like using if then else or any other easer way.
If distant is ≤90mm or ≥93mm
Stop or jump to a stop label
    else
    resume (a program name “XXX0477”)
endif (end the argument or maybe we don’t end if we continue the program)
    Could you please help.

Is there any advantage to use pointlogic and not a call in the distance or time before ? Practical they are the same to me.
