    Hey Adam great video! Is there a way to verify this information and how the robot is setup?

      Pinning this comment cuz I should've shown this in the video......... WORLD coordinates will be flipped! :) So after you set this up, set your jog Coord to "World" and test Z+ and Z-.
      Prior to flipping the robot, Z+ world goes UP and Z- world goes DOWN, as it should. If you mechanically flip a robot and don't make the 180 change, then Z- will actually go "UP" in real world which is wrong. If you do the 180 change, then Z+ will still go UP even though the robot is flipped.

    Hi Adam, I've recently discovered your channel and I'm impressed with your professionalism and dedication to your content. could you create a video creating a robot with a positioner and programming it? The mentioned content is very scarce and I would like to learn to create a project. A big hug and see you soon

    Could you please make a step by step video how to synchronize motion the horizontal turn table (positioner or tailstock) to the robot arm

    • @AdamWillea
      @AdamWillea  Рік тому

      A few ways to skin that cat.... the easiest for me is to use Multi-Group motion, and it's the same technique as a robot on a rail as shown in my video here:
      ua-cam.com/video/OB1E_wmlfCk/v-deo.html
      Check that out, and if another video is needed for turntables, let me know!

    Hey Adam, I love your videos your always clear and concise in your lessons, but I was wondering if you had plans on doing a Fanuc spot welding toutorial as it's hard to find good information out there. Anyways I appreciate the content and support you give to this community ☺️

      Thank you so much! I'll admit that the two fields I know very little about are Welding and Painting... however.... I do love continuous learning, and I'd be willing to work with some of my FANUC colleagues to brush up on things like spot, mig, tig, plasma, laser, stick... etc., in order to put up more videos. So stay tuned, I'll do what I can!

    Hi Adam. I have been doing on RG and the null frame does not change the orientation. I found that in Fanuc the null frame stiil the same orientation, only setup is for indicate to controller the correct current parameters for a good performance, and for example Kuka robots change the orientation coordinates as you mentioned. Is that correct? I like your videos

    If doing this inverts the world coordinates of Z- and Z+, will this wreck your existing programs?

    Hello Adam, thanks for the video! I've got one question - is it possible to do the controlled start on SCARA robot without TP?

    • @AdamWillea
      @AdamWillea  Рік тому

      I believe in order to get into a controlled start on a SCARA, you can do it via your web browser but must use the JITP. I don't think the iRProgrammer will work or even offer that boot option.
      But also, in case anyone is wondering, you cannot invert mount a standard SCARA :) You actually have to purchase those from the Factory as the "Underslung" model.
      Great question!

      @@AdamWillea the case was changing number od PRs, managed it with UFrames. Thanks for the explanation.

      @AdamWillea  Рік тому

      @@MarcinRumanek ah yes - well, I'd be super curious to see if you can access the Controlled Start via JITP. I'll try next time I'm around a SCARA, but you might beat me to it. And you can definitely expand your PR's once in there. Thanks!!!

      @@AdamWillea Finally, SR-20iA is next to me, and yes, it is possible to go to Controlled Start using Jogging IPendant, I've used the ITP button. In fact, I had to change the J3 range to 450.
